You have more sentences setting yourself up to pat yourself on the back for being super smart than you did explaining your idea.

In my experience, most people have a lot of trouble just communicating in a 2 person relationship.
/r/RedPillWomen30/09/19 07:06 AM

This is true in very specific circumstances but since OP is clearly not one of those people and their BF has terrible communication and relationship skills this will be nothing but a spectacular crash and burn. The pros of poly only happen when everyone involved is poly and was seeking a poly relationship. OPs situation is just a shitty guy who wants to cheat without getting in trouble.

Polyamoury can be healthy and great, IF those involved are both polyamorous and great communicators. Never seen one work out otherwise. "I want an open relationship because I'm bored with our sex life" is nothing but red flags and I can basically garauntee it'll go down in flames.

It definitely fits what I see here, we're looking for a Captain/First Mate dynamic, not a Captain/Galley Slave dynamic. You need to be assertive with your needs and boundaries or you will not be getting a quality man.
/r/RedPillWomen25/09/19 09:17 PM

That's a good thing though, or you'd be stuck in a shitty marriage that isn't what you want or need.
/r/RedPillWomen25/09/19 09:15 PM

I think there's a soft middle between being bitchy and having no backbone. Be stern, know what you want and how to get it, be sure of yourself, but be nice to people. Yup. Have a backbone, have your boundaries, and be nice to people. Easy if you've always done it, much harder if you've been a doormat and start to assert yourself. People who used to walk over you will really push back to knock you back down. People who walk over doormats do not want to be told "no."
/r/RedPillWomen25/09/19 09:12 PM

If you have back problems like pain it becomes a medical issue and not cosmetic. At least in Canada.

Even without a plan he can work hard on the relationship and whatever job he has at the time. There is a big difference between working hard on what's in front of you with no plan beyond it and sitting around blaming others. If a guy really puts in effort in life not having a plan is not the end of the world. He's still moving forward and most importantly he'll be able to carry out any plan when it happens. But it sounds like your bf wouldn't put in the effort if he suddenly made a plan anyway.
/r/RedPillWomen19/09/19 11:56 PM
3

Yeah the whole blaming the world thing really suggests he'll be like that. If he accepted responsibility for the time off and pushed himself into the grind to make up for it and move on it'd be different, but I see no indication that's the case. In another comment OP said he blamed HER for the unemployment because he chose to stay with her.
/r/RedPillWomen19/09/19 11:49 PM
7

Oh no that's really bad. Unless he makes big changes I expect he'll do nothing and blame the world for the rest of his life, unless you bring it up and then he'll blame you. It is 100% possible for him to work on himself and change this way of thinking but unless he does it is not going to be a worthwhile marriage.

Straight guys messing around has been a thing as far back as recorded history goes, whether they hide it completely or are open about it really depends on how accepting society is at the moment. Right now it's accepting, so we see it in the open a lot more. They did it in the 50's too but they would never admit it even on their death bed. And back in Greece...

Yeah unfortunately I see a lot of people who don't really think it all the way through and have a warped idea of what it's like, and "just wanna make some extra money." They look at top performers making crazy bank and think "wow I can just send nude snaps and be rich" but that's kind of like looking at the McDonald's CEO and thinking it'll be like that as a line cook, and then are shocked when they get greasy and yelled at by customers, or that you actually have to work smart and hard when your…

Personally I am pro-sex work/porn, IF you actually want to do it for the work (and not easy money, or the easy but fake validation) and understand that society will not like you, and understand the change in life trajectory that will happen. But it drives me up the wall people jump in for some "easy money" and then freak out at the consequences. Like, what? Cmon. Did you think about it at all? If you wanna flip the bird to society and do it go right ahead but the number of people who then freak …

frankly, I feel like anyone could benefit from going through these resources. I've done a bit of DBT and I agree so much with this, even just the short and quick version. It's incredibly useful stuff. I'm waiting to get into a multi-year DBT program, but I require a lot more than just the basic DBT crash course on account of BPD as well. I am in full on nun-mode like you said, not only do I think it's best to work on myself for now, even if I wanted to date there is no way I could handle that le…

That's why I stuck around here, it fits my ideal relationship dynamic. Both RPW and Kink are massive categories though and really only overlaps with a very specific relationship dynamic/TPE situation. RPW encompasses far more than just your kink life, RPW has a lot about personal identity, relationships and life that isn't kink, most of it is outside that relationship dynamic and I think that is what you're getting the different vibe from. And the kink relationships we're talking about here usua…

I'm not quite sure what you're asking for. Can't you just do surgery, and then back off to spend time with your kids when you become a mother? Or are there other residencies that would lend themselves to a better work/motherhood balance, like the other comment about the home practice, and you want advice on one of those?

Is he still depressed? He needs to address his mental health. I've worked labor jobs, you aren't helpless after a solid days work, but depression certainly can make you that way. I also got very defensive when I was depressed, because I was at my limit already, and now I'm being asked to do more. Ultimately nothing will improve if his mental health doesn't. Also get a better vacuum, you should be able to get nice vacuum lines with your normal carpet brush thing. Whatever it's called. That sounds…

Just give me a few minutes to decompress, and then I'm fine. It's almost like hearing of issues, complaints, hell, even just random benign occurances right off the bat just triggers an "oh God, now what?" thought process after work. Yes! And sometimes you're physically and mentally exhausted and then you just get hit with a wave of stuff you suddenly have to process. It feels like they're yelling at you or something. Decompress for a bit and suddenly it's easy to deal with.

The other thing I've noticed is that obsessing over weight and hating yourself for it makes you a miserable person, which makes you miserable to be around. An RPW wants to be light, and fun, and happy -- a soft place to land. That only happens with self-love, and a healthy attitude towards oneself and others. YES! THIS! I had that idea in my head but couldn't find the words for it to put in my comment, you nailed it! Thank you! And I know guys don't like to go on a date and have you having an in…

punishing my body with starvation diets and overzealous exercise programs (that don't work anyway) I very strongly agree with this. I have seen MANY woman who go this route, and then have terrible self talk if they fail or eat something "bad," say they're a failure of a person, useless, etc. It's extremely psychologically damaging and will absolutely lead to punishing themselves with extreme diets and exercise, yo-yoing and generally going nowhere and feeling worse. And feeling worse usually lea…

It seems you are dependent on him, so you would have to file as a dependent. It's not like it's in any way hard to file a correction with the IRS or that it would have any negative penalties. Personally, nothing he said ads up with what I know about taxes and insurance, and I have a hard time seeing a man who can't flip a house and get renters in 3 years as any sort of competent. I can't believe how much credit we give to the internet crazies nowadays. I don't know a single woman irl who cares unless they're obnoxiously taking up two seats. And they're just as mad over the bag lady in OP. Something going viral means you see it way more than it actually happens. I've never seen crazy people opinions that go viral irl just people upset over what they saw online. One nobody makes a manspreading chair and 500 million people freak out over it.

Absolutely, but you're gonna have to make the dynamic fit your relationship and not try to force stuff you don't have. You do have the advantage of growing up male, but with an outside perspective of masculinity other men can be blind to, so while you can't be a male role model you can certainly be an effective teacher. Your kids won't messed up or something as long as they get out into the world and have real world role models too. Ultimately this is not a traditional relationship, and while yo…

I’m just stumped and can’t figure out what seems to be making my face appear so masculine and not “delicate”. I have BDD I would bet money your face is totally fine. Media bombards us with unrealistic photoshopped ideals that don't exist, and judged against them we feel inadequate. BDD will amplify this feeling that already makes women horribly insecure and hate things about their appearance. Well, I definitely don't want an effeminate loser or a guy I have to support. So- I do want a traditional relationship. These are absolutely not the only two options. I think you need to step back from what people are telling you to be (first your dad, and now RPW) and find what you actually want to be, and what actually works for you. You're not happy how you are, but you've decided the only other option is to force yourself to be something that makes you retch and you hate it. You have identif…

In today's economic climate, putting all her hopes on finding a man to provide for her is very, very risky. Do you want your daughter living at home, buying her food, paying her bills and supporting her while she finds a husband? Will it be a good outcome if she is forced to settle for a potentially very subpar husband because she can't support herself? There is no reason to not prepare her to meet whatever challenges she might face in modern society. If the dating pool of men is poor, she can s…

If he wants to delegate to you and you refuse, it could cone off as lazy especially if you already do a good job and have more time available than he does. You could always discuss them with him, so he's in the loop. Or discuss bigger picture financial decisions and let him lead there, while you handle the day to day fine details of your budget and making sure it all goes smoothly. Ultimately having bills paid on time isn't really leadership, but plotting financial goals would be.

Oh boy! Women and their magical 6th sense again, or clairvoyance, whatever you want to call it. So, your implication is that, men are destroyed and useless unless they are in service to a woman, a relationship and/or a family. Wow, how sexist of you. Looks simply aren't that important as a woman. I'm in a "how did he end up with HER?" relationship, and it's because he's the most wonderful man I've met and we match very well in our kinks- the real basis of a good relationship. I'd never choose looks over substance in a man, it seems ridiculous.

Half formed rambling thoughts here, there be dragons... I think the division between RP and feminism has more to do with individual people and whether they have authoritarian views or not. If you feel you fit into "the natural way of things" and traditional values boxes, you'll never be happy in the strong, independent, carve your own way of feminism. If you are a strong independent women who has never been drawn to "the way things are", you'll be very turned off by RP theory and never be happy …

Sex is a skill, and some people are naturally gifted and others are not. There are also a lot of other issues that can get tangled up in it to complicate things. My fiance got a lot of negative reactions from some people (especially her mother) because her life goal was to get married and be a housewife. The usual argument is that woman fought for her right to work/vote etc, but what they fought for is her right to CHOOSE and people don't seem to understand that distinction.

Having spent time both in male locker rooms and then later as a lady, I understand completely why you'd be surprised, but holy goddamn shit guys smell amazing now. Like sometimes a guy walks past all sweaty and my brain short circuits in the same way it used to when I saw a 10 walk by in a bikini.
