Post your resume - anon it a little - I'll take a cold hard look at it from the perspective of somebody that personally interviews and hires new grads all the way up to senior and manager level.

The original comment referred to Spanish speakers only and not their country of origin. You are qualifying people purely on the language they speak, that makes no sense.

Can you help me understand how that relates to your original point that education should help you avoid people that speak Spanish? Maybe you had a more specific point but failed to articulate it? I recently implemented a massive supply chain technology project in Madrid, plenty of smart Spanish speakers on my team.

It is a very fine line - I've got a daughter too and you do have to tread carefully otherwise you could push her the other way. Be careful taking advice from people that haven't been in your situation and people that have no investment in your outcome.

A fucking men - just me and the swell - the best stress reliever, the most fun and sometimes very challenging. There's no bullshit in the lineup (outside of some agro drop-in cunts), it's all about your skill level and what you're willing to risk.

The whole point of being educated is so you won’t have to deal with people who soeak Spanish WTF?

are these stats true? If so, why are women still asking for the top jobs when they already have the money? I guess it would be good for men to give women the top jobs then they can earn the money and men can control most of it??

Looking at that list - minus the physical stuff - I was a victim of domestic abuse? Never thought of it that way. Note for the dick heads - I am a man despite the name.

I spent a lot of time in Rio - it's a great example of what happens when there's a massive wage gap - you have to live behind gates and armed guards. Tax is a fucker but at some level you are lucky to have it. Many many problems with the system but on the most basic level, we all need to chip in to run the country.

Plenty of reasons mate, you don't have kids so it's probably hard for you to come up with situations where a mobile phone is very helpful to parents.

I was startled, confused, angry and acutely uncomfortable. Why in the world would some stranger call me “dear”? If one word can cause all those emotions then heaven only knows what she would do if you accidentally tapped her on the arm? As far as I am concerned, she has just fully justified why men don't want to be around women at work.

That doesn't help the replacement rate. I agree in principle that sounds nice but I think you'll find that a lot of people will struggle to accept that as their best option. If you make that choice should you find yourself in that position then good on you.

Yes I do know. I also feel like IVF should be provided by the NHS too. If you and your wife cannot conceive then why not? A healthy replacement rate is good for the country. I believe they limit the amount of treatments you're allowed anyway.

I'm not sure that it's clearly immoral. Your tax pays for things you don't agree with. If we allowed people to allocate their own tax funds you'd probably end up with a whole group of people living in slums while you have to live behind armed guards in your own home. Go visit Brazil and see what I mean.

Guess it depends if you want to replace your population with new workers other than from the immigrant pool. A healthy replacement rate is important to the population, maybe that can be achieved without IVF? I'm not saying what's right and wrong because I do not know. I'm not in possession of the facts. Everyone here is coming at it purely from a ideology point of view rather than facts based which I don't think is a great way to create policy. I hate women - no IVF please (not something I reall…

I understand how it works - I lived there for 24 years and contributed a substantial sum in taxes. When people say it is free, they do not think it magically appears out of thin air.

UK has free healthcare - there is a strong argument for the NHS supporting IVF but there should be a maximum age. This is the same as NHS supporting your health issues because you're fat or any number of other issues which are lifestyle. The alternative is to be like the US and push people in bankruptcy when the get a lifestyle induced cancer.

What do you mean I earn none of it? I earn good money. I'm not heightening my status, I'm giving a clear example of how not all millennials are useless. I'm establishing credibility by showing I am trusted with big things. On my resume I clearly state the size of the deals I negotiate and the projects I deliver, pretty standard.

Underrated comment. She's just bringing how hot she is to the table and amongst real hotties, she's pretty average. Her value (how hot she is) will decline in a few years and during that time she'll likely be a massive headache for you; whereas a guy that looks after himself, is interesting and builds a successful carer will become more valuable over the years. Men are the prize, we're just afflicted by a pussy addiction, manage that and you can manage anything. A partner at one of the large con…

I was born in the mid 80's and work in consulting running projects worth tens of millions. I've got plenty of friends who have achieved the top end of their careers for their age (now all in their mid thirties). I live around plenty of entitled retired boomers who always thought their working class jobs should afford them a house, wife, kids, college for their kids, cars and vacations. Those things are now out of reach even for the middle class dual income couples without kids. We have a joint i…

Mostly true - there are always some individuals that spur massive change though. But yeah, most people are like those girls that were crying over trump on his big day - yelling until you're blue in the face usually does nothing.

Good points but I am not sure that is relevant to the question. Conflating different issues makes your argument much weaker. Women being raped on their way home is a problem that needs addressing, so is the issue you raised; they are not the same issue though. One of these problems does not justify the other ones existence and both need solutions. I'm not looking to argue with you, I'm looking to improve the way I think about these issues. The QLD parliament recently debated allowing women to ar…

If you have someone / something else I can blame then feel free to offer it up, maybe we can start there when looking for a solution. I regularly see and hear plenty of feminist arguments here in AUS but it's sometimes hard to answer to some of their points. Not that I want to answer them but if they are left unchecked, they'll win and the feminisation will continue. I don't want my boy to be brought up by women that tell him to hate men and hate himself, he'll spend more time at school than wit…

A gender neutral algorithm acting inside of a non-gender neutral society means there is implicit bias. Surely the 7% gap could just be highlighting how society inherently has barriers for women such as the ability to drive through ShitsVille at 2am? Society should want to fix that problem rather than put it down to risk. We're not living in Rwanda here, there's a lot we can do to mitigate the risk of sexual violence. If my daughter has to exclude herself from certain jobs because men are a risk …

I sort of agree and sort of don't. The risk to women could well be higher than the risk to men and that makes the playing field unbalanced. Men raping women meaning women don't work in certain places which allows men to make more money just seems a little off. I'm not really arguing with you though, I'm arguing with the premise of the argument that this somehow helps explain the gender gap and makes it ok. Or maybe you're right, men willing to take risks might make them more valuable? Or maybe t…

So Women chose to avoid the risk (whether real of perceived) of being raped. I'm no feminist but that part of the story looks fine to me. Being able to possibly defend myself against an attacker makes me feel more confident to work at 1am in RapeVille.

If your partner gives up their ability to make money / have a career in order to raise your children, you better believe that you need to pay up if the marriage breaks down. Dont marry a do nothing bitch, marry someone with enough of a career that she won't be able to rape you.

Did you never let her work or did she contribute 50% in ways other than money? One of my friends (a woman) has 50/5- custody of their kid but she still has to PAY HIM child support. Usually the ex only gets large amounts if she /he didn't have a career and instead was a full time carer. One way to get around this is to make sure you support your wifes career so she can't come after you for large amounts as she still has the ability to earn her own money (laws vary country to country).

Sounds like you only see things from your perspective and can't possibly understand how this may be ok with many of the rich husbands. Sometimes it's beneficial to keep some aspect of the family unit together even if everyone is fucking everyone else. Many rich guys only live with their wives for a few months per year, maybe less. You're writing as if you're the winner here - you're a waiter, your tiny bubble sometimes intersects with other peoples but I honestly doubt you can even see things fr…

"The sales manager liked you but he needs a woman to balance out the male heavy team" Quote from a recruiter to my friend - the recruiter should not have said that, it's cause for suing (which he didn't do). This is not uncommon. Diversity hiring is such that in the event of there being two equally qualifed candidates, you choose the one that is the member of a demographic that will benefit the most from it. Does this mean that a middle-class white person will never be able to get a good job if …
