What would you say to your old self if you could go back in timeYeah you're right, I just wish I hadn't taken it. If I hadn't then maybe I would've been okay and I wouldn't have gotten addicted to slitting my wrists or maybe I wouldn't have started falling apart at the seams when I so much as drop a pencil. Maybe my OCD would be manageable instead of making my life a living hell. I never thought that one stupid comment could ruin my life in so many ways. Sorry to vent, I don't get to do it often. | /r/seduction | 03/11/17 06:05 PM
What would you say to your old self if you could go back in timeDon't take that dude's advice on /r/seduction I got some advice from some asshole troll and I took it because I was clueless about this lifestyle. Well, I got my heart crushed over a year ago and started self harming and contemplating suicide, which I still do to this day. I both like and loathe this subreddit just for that guy. | /r/seduction | 03/11/17 02:04 AM
How can I not get discouraged? No, according to my dad I don't have any reason to be depressed. I started cutting for attention, maybe someone will care someday. | /r/seduction | 27/10/17 06:14 PM
How can I not get discouraged?Try being 21 and never having succeeded at all in any way and being crushed to the point where you have to cut yourself to keep your sanity. Not trying to belittle your pain or anything, I'm sure it sounds like it though. I'm just a bitter person who makes depressing comments on reddit as a cry for help. | /r/seduction | 27/10/17 06:02 PM
What is your current sticking point and what are you doing to work on it?I have attachment issues and fall madly in love with any girl who even looks in my direction and start imagining our futures together. Meeting each other's parents and families, how I'm gonna propose, getting married, going to the movies, playing video games together, doing cute couple stuff, and everything else under the sun. Then I get hopelessly crushed when I get shot down inevitably. I'm still hurting from a rejection over a year ago. OCD ruins you with these obsessive thoughts that just do… | /r/seduction | 25/09/17 04:50 AM
Male help needed - if a male date flakes due to feeling unwell, should I reach out.You should, just shoot him a text and let him reply. A text. A text. Never hurts to ask, just say you're sorry he isn't feeling well and hope he gets better soon. I don't know your situation so add to or take away what you please, as long as it's a single text. I've had to flake on things (not necessarily dates, never been on one lol) because I was actually sick and I ended up feeling awful. If he's anything like me (and actually sick) he'll actually appreciate the fact that you checked up on hi… | /r/seduction | 08/07/17 08:57 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden? Thanks for the words, friend | /r/seduction | 17/05/17 04:51 PM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden? Thanks so much, and I'll definitely let you know if I need anything. | /r/seduction | 16/05/17 02:34 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden? They were good suggestions and I'll definitely take a look at them, they seem to be a common theme among advice given to me. Thanks for the words, I love the response I've gotten here. | /r/seduction | 16/05/17 02:25 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I guess you're kind of right. I do like getting sympathy because I see it as people caring about me and I don't get that a whole lot, but I definitely didn't intend for it to come across that way, I hate sounding needy. I used to be incredibly needy and attention seeking when I was a senior in high school, so I've cut that crap out almost completely over the past couple of years. Honestly nobody in my life knows what's wrong with me. I don't let it on to anyone and interact with everyone with co… | /r/seduction | 16/05/17 02:21 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden? Thanks so much for the kind words, it's good to hear that someone made it. I'm planning to get started on that soon but I'm a bit too self conscious to run during the day or lift weights in front of people lol. Working on it though. Again, thanks so much. | /r/seduction | 16/05/17 02:16 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden? How did you get out? Please give me some sort of hope that I'll be loved someday. I can wait, it just kills me that I don't know if I'll ever have it. | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 11:39 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I know I need to, it's just impossible for me to reach out for help since it's been drilled into me my entire life (20 years) that I should bottle up my feelings and stress and just ignore them. It's painful, but asking for help is so much more terrifying. Plus the times I have asked for help have ended very poorly. | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 11:38 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?Sophomore is 2nd year. I'm 20 years old | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 11:35 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?Lol | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 11:34 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden? Thanks for the words, and a long post is never a problem on my end. I do try to fight it but sometimes it's just easier to slip into it and hate myself and write depressing posts on Reddit. It just seems so futil to fight the thing that's controlled me for years. | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 11:29 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?Never heard that before. Could you eleaborate some? | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 11:25 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I'm actually in progress of trying. My diet isn't as great as it could be coming off of a brutal semester of stress eating, but I try to count calories and drink only water (which I actually succeed at). For exercise I try to do 10 push-ups and 20 sit-ups before bed each night. I try to bump up the amount by 5 as soon as I can handle it. I also plan to start jogging in the morning starting tomorrow after reading these responses. It's not much but I guess it's good that I'm doing something at all… | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 11:25 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I'd love to but I just can't. After growing up in this environment for 20 years it's hard to talk about my feelings. I wish someone would actually ask me how I'm doing. Then I'd be able to do it, but I can't approach someone and ask to talk. Every time I have I've never gotten a response or gotten a half hearted response that tolerates my whining just to shut me up. No one has ever cared it feels like. That or they'll stop responding in the middle of a conversation over text and get angry at me … | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 11:20 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I'm trying. I haven't masturbates since last Tuesday or something like that and I'm planning to go all the way. It just seems like I try and I fail every time and it just gets so easy to roll over and accept defeat because it's the only thing I've ever really known. It's hard to expect victory when you don't even know what it feels like. | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 11:17 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I don't necessarily have trouble talking to women, it's just escalating to the date part and the seemingly inevitable rejection. I know it's an awful mindset to expect rejection, but it's hard not to expect the only thing you've ever known. | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 11:14 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden? Thanks for the kind words, friend. It's not so much that I have trouble talking to women, I honesty don't. I actually seem relatively normal on the outside. It's just that every woman I ask out rejects me and hurts me and it's just so discouraging to see other people be so successful when I'm being beaten down at every turn. | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 11:13 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I did see a real therapist and it didn't help, she would just ask about my day for 30 minutes and I'd be done. Plus I don't have insurance so anything outside of my neurologist is pretty much out of the question. I do have a passion. I love video games. Not like sit home and eat cheetos all day and play call of duty. I speedrun retro games and compete with people all over the world for good times. I just hate constantly getting shat on about it by people because it doesn't fit their definition o… | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 11:10 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I've heard that, it's just one of those things that I fixate on since litrally everyone my age has done something with a girl, even if it's just a hug or holding hands. I've never had any of that and it makes me hate myself so much. I hear that it doesn't matter, but it's one of those things that I really want to find out for myself. | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 11:00 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I appreciate the kind words and the concern, but I won't be trying anything like that due to my epilepsy and migraine medication. Plus I don't want to depend on drugs or develop an addiction of what have you. | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 10:58 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I don't know if I'm serious though, if that makes sense. Like I really want to die, I just don't know if I want to kill myself. Does that make sense? Ever since I took organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and calculus 2 all at the same time my thoughts haven't made a whole lot of sense lol | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 10:57 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?Sometimes it feels like that's all it is. When I'm up at 2 in the morning coming unglued and making depressing Reddit comments, sometimes it just seems like a simple hug would put me back together and make me happy for a lot least a few seconds. I haven't been hugged in so long. It just hurts so much. | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 10:56 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I'm 20 years old | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 10:50 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I guess it's not so much I'm comparing myself to them, but that I'm jealous of them and that they have what I want. Jealous to the point that it's all I can think about. Are they the same? I'm actually not sure whether they are or not thinking about it now. I just see happy couples and hope they fail. Hope they crash and burn and feel what I feel. The girl that hurt me and really pushed me over the edge is now happy with her new boyfriend and I wish them nothing but heartache. I wouldn't hurt ei… | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 10:50 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I'm a sophomore in college, 20 years old. | /r/seduction | 14/05/17 07:47 AM
Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I'm gonna try not to sound stand offish here, but I'm sure I will. Have you ever gone through that? Hating yourself so much that you have to get dressed in the dark to avoid looking at yourself and brushing your teeth in the shower because you can't bear to look in a mirror? Being rejected by every girl you've ever had feelings for and even watching them be happy with their new boyfriends, which only piles on the self hatred? Losing your mother at 16 and not being allowed to feel it because you … | /r/seduction | 13/05/17 09:45 AM
| – | Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I've tried that so many times and it hasn't helped a bit. I'm so ready to give up. Terrified, but so ready. | /r/seduction | 13/05/17 08:18 AM |
| – | Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden? But how can it not be? My dad didnt take me seriously when I tried to talk to him My old youth pastor knows that I struggle with this stuff and he hasn't talked to me in months I tried therapy, didn't work Antidepressants conflict with my epilepsy and migraine meds I've tried eating right, exercising, approaching people, taking confidence. It doesn't work. When I talk about it here I get cut down and called pathetic in PM's. It just doesn't seem with it anymore when all you've ever known over 20… | /r/seduction | 13/05/17 08:17 AM |
| – | Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?I guess I'll be alone forever then, because I've hated myself for so long that I don't even know how to love myself anymore. I don't remember what happiness feels like. It just doesn't seem worth it when I've tried everything to better myself and I crash and burn every time. | /r/seduction | 13/05/17 08:14 AM |
| – | Lost virginity, whole new person all the sudden?Geez man I'm a sophomore in college and I've never even held a girl's hand. I normally hate visiting this sub because it just seems like everyone is so far ahead of me and it just makes me loathe myself more than I already do. But I'll probably be killing myself soon so I guess I've got that going for me. | /r/seduction | 13/05/17 07:57 AM |

Does anybody else just get really discouraged with this whole seduction thing sometimes? You're right. I'm just kind of starting to break out of my socially retarded shell and wanted to make sure I didn't do anything and it was all on her Here I go making excuses for myself again. I see her every day in class and I probably will next semester too so it just kind of sucks seeing her every day. I'm getting over it, I just really felt like she was different from everyone else I've talked to. How do I stop getting so attached? That seems to be my main problem. Should I just ask her out … | /r/seduction | 01/12/16 11:20 AM
Does anybody else just get really discouraged with this whole seduction thing sometimes?Where were you in August?!?! :D I'm glad you showed up here, I'll absolutely be thinking of that next time I try something like this and not stressing out about getting a second with her in person when we're both very busy. I was reluctant to ask over text anyways since I didn't wanna make it awkward, but you've gotta risk it I guess. I appreciate it very much. | /r/seduction | 30/11/16 10:18 PM
Does anybody else just get really discouraged with this whole seduction thing sometimes?I didn't think she owed me anything, it just would've been nice to know if I did anything to offend her in the middle of a great conversation about school and stuff. It was so sudden that I just really wanted to know. | /r/seduction | 30/11/16 09:38 PM
Does anybody else just get really discouraged with this whole seduction thing sometimes?Someone else in this sub told me that asking over text was a sure way to get shot down when I really wanted to. I guess he was wrong. | /r/seduction | 30/11/16 09:36 PM
Does anybody else just get really discouraged with this whole seduction thing sometimes? We actually didn't talk all that much over text, just maybe 2 or 3 conversations about homework and other school related stuff. I guess I did wait too long and I'll always regret it. | /r/seduction | 30/11/16 09:35 PM
Does anybody else just get really discouraged with this whole seduction thing sometimes?I was actually just about to ask her out when she stopped talking to me, we'd only been talking for about a week. I wish I'd done it sooner but I just never had the chance since I wanted to do it in person. | /r/seduction | 30/11/16 12:29 AM
Formally introducing myself here and asking for some advice on myselfGotcha, I'll delete the post and post it somewhere else. My bad and sorry to bother you guys. | /r/seduction | 24/10/16 06:53 AM
I'm going to approach my crush today, but I have some lingering questionsYeah I probably won't at all now. Last week she just stopped replying to my text messages mid conversation and hasn't replied to any since, and I know she saw them because I've seen her use her phone. Plus she always gets up and rushes out of class. There's nothing I could've done to offend her at all, we were having a great conversation. I hate my life so much. | /r/seduction | 26/09/16 10:02 PM
I'm going to approach my crush today, but I have some lingering questionsNo, I was never able to. She left class before me every day and I couldn't catch up to her. We were texting about school and the study guide on Wednesday night and she suddenly just stopped replying. She also didn't reply when I asked her if she wanted to work on it on Thursday or when I asked her Thursday night about a problem. There's absolutely nothing I said that could've offended her, so I have no idea. I know she saw my texts because she was using her phone on Friday after the test. I don'… | /r/seduction | 25/09/16 11:08 PM
I'm going to approach my crush today, but I have some lingering questionsI was going to today but I missed her and couldn't talk to her! Hopefully I can in the morning. | /r/seduction | 20/09/16 09:45 PM
I'm going to approach my crush today, but I have some lingering questionsUpdate: I didn't get a chance to ask her today. She finished before me and left. I thought today was Wednesday so I said today was my last chance, but I actually have tomorrow to ask, so hopefully I'll be able to get to her then, which I should. I wish I had today just to end the anticipation and stress it's putting on me. I wanna text her and ask her so badly, but I'm gonna ask her in person just like you said. Hopefully I don't chicken out since we'll be in public and people could overhear us.… | /r/seduction | 20/09/16 03:44 PM
I'm going to approach my crush today, but I have some lingering questionsHm, I guess you're right. It doesn't exactly feel great, but I like to think I wouldn't get hung up on it as long as I had some closure on whether or not we could be together. If she didn't like me that way then I'd have no choice but to come to terms with it. I don't like emotions, especially when they've never worked in my favor once. | /r/seduction | 20/09/16 10:59 AM
I'm going to approach my crush today, but I have some lingering questionsFirst of all I would because she's a genuinely cool person and I enjoy talking to her. I don't know if I'm kidding myself when I say that, but I like to think I'm not. Second of all, I'm planning to ask her out today if I can get a chance to talk to her, so fingers crossed :D | /r/seduction | 20/09/16 08:50 AM
I'm going to approach my crush today, but I have some lingering questionsI guess you're right. Hopefully I can ask her today so the anticipation doesn't linger in my mind for the rest of the day. I guess I'll just have to play it by ear from there, hopefully we'll be able to hang out. | /r/seduction | 20/09/16 08:28 AM
I'm going to approach my crush today, but I have some lingering questionsI hope you're right. I just can't see myself being that forward, especially since we've only been talking for a week and a half or so (does that matter a whole lot?). How did it work the first time you tried it? | /r/seduction | 20/09/16 08:17 AM
I'm going to approach my crush today, but I have some lingering questionsSure, I'll try. I know I'm probably gonna add "if you aren't busy" to it out of reflex though :D How did this method work out for you when you tried it? | /r/seduction | 20/09/16 07:58 AM
I'm going to approach my crush today, but I have some lingering questionsThat's awesome advice and I would definitely take it, but the problem is our schedules run opposite to each other. When I have gaps she's either slammed with classes or working, which is why I wanted to do something over the weekend. Should I just say something like "Hey, I'm going bowling (for example) Saturday night, wanna come with me?" | /r/seduction | 20/09/16 07:51 AM
I'm going to approach my crush today, but I have some lingering questionsIt is helpful, and you weren't a jerk or anything at all, you're totally good. I like it a lot better than /r/askwomenadvice, who had the attitude that what I was doing was pretty much evil. I have some follow-up questions if you don't mind. Anyways, how do I make my intentions known? I've never been a forward type of guy when it comes to stuff like this, I'm just scared of coming off as a presumptuous jerk and I don't wanna pressure her or anything (I've always been the type of guy that's SO ca… | /r/seduction | 20/09/16 07:02 AM
