I was once on a first date with a girl and she brought up her ex and I teased her about how that's like the number one topic you're not supposed to bring up on a first date. Got some laughs. Then later on I told a story involving an ex of mine and joked about what rule-breakers we (meaning the girl I was currently out with and I, not my ex) were. I don't actually think you're a troll, I was just kind of using that to express how often people will come here with this kind of stuff and subsequently have people tell them to be awesome and confident and all that.
