Well if you are actually serious, the date went well as you described it's just that you didn't get to kiss her which is fine. Yeah I guess you should text her to not make her think that you didn't like her/the date. Well it depends on if she is with friends, where you are heading, if you have time and she is alone then you should stop and talk to her.
