1	Down The Rabbit Hole: How far is too far? The concept of "awalt," has thoroughly coloured my perspective on life, but it is not the only one to have done so. I enjoyed reading and writing fiction. 1	Down The Rabbit Hole: How far is too far? I'd say "jaded" and "burnout" are pretty accurate, though how much of either? I couldn't say. Always in flux. I'm no expert, but I've heard we have certain mechanisms which "level out" how we're feeling -- kind of like an auto correct, for your brain chemistry. Our moods stabilize, to an extent, no matter what the duress. However, there's a element of the self - perhaps it's the memories of our unhappy experiences - that has the staying power to dictate whether/where our moods pitch.
