4	Being Bought Out of Home She technically owes you half of the fair market value, however what is typically done is your half that is owed to you is offset by how much you owe her in support and the like. Usually what this does is reduces you value of what you owe her. If you move forward get an appraisal (as high as possible) as well as comparable that show the house being worth as much as possible. 4	Update - Hired the lawyer. Wife is now on best behavior. This is a legal tactic. They probably are gathering evidence, such as videos, financials, etc. Waiting for you to come home drunk and they will start a fight then call the cops. Don't let your gaurd down.	/r/Divorce_Men	04/03/21 06:01 AM
5	After doing what my lawyer said to do Record all phone calls, screen shot all texts and messages. Depending on the state, you maybe able to use them. If needed, say this call is being recorded before they start so if they do say anything it will be admissible. Get the restraining order. I would also be ready to video any confrontation. 1	[Advice] Cheating wife doesn't know I know. Claims to be trying to work it out. Lying to my face. I don't know which state you are in, but see if she gives gifts to this guy. If you get divorced that will get you more assets. Also, you can buy a tracker and put it on her car as long as your name is also on the title of the car. I would install cameras around the house.
