Well, you have to fair and admit that women don't break up with shitty dudes for the same reason men don't break up with shitty chicks: the crushing fear of being alone.

This is probably some kind of anti-sex slavery flyer. Sex slavery is actually a real thing, with a lot of eastern European women being abducted by Ukrainian para-military mafias and being raped and beaten into submission and sold into forced prostitution. If you've seen the Liam Neeson flick "Taken" then you know what I'm talking about. I'm against such monstrous, dehumanizing acts. That said, this flyer doesn't specifically point out the sex slave trade and is just saying "Men cause all the wor…

Enough with the bullshit PUA bloggers, guys.

I find it heartening that most of the PUA twerps (if you have to smugly inform everyone you're an 'alpha'...you're not very alpha) are theists. Just believe whatever nonsense it takes to convince yourself your life isn't a sham.

Actually, the moral of the story is that PUA dudes don't trust anybody because they themselves operate on untrustworthy motivations. This 'lowly' busboy (fuck this author for being a classist dick) was mostly being outgoing and friendly because he is genuinely outgoing and friendly. He held a long conversation with that girl in his (presumably) native language because it's fucking nice to talk to another native speaker. The guy mostly likely was a genuinely friendly person and the author didn't …

I don't have a problem with "PUA" up and to the point where it's just a exercise method for introverts to gain the skills required to approach women. After than, when it's just a bunch of parlor tricks and scam techniques to talk women into bed or emotionally abuse them in long term relationships it's all just amoral bullshit. Emotionally manipulation for personal gain is not kingly. It is a trait of the highchair tyrant. And for the record, if you have to smugly inform people that you are an 'a…

Don't assume I was making a judgement call. I like fart jokes...I just don't get indignant with people who inform me fart jokes aren't high comedy.

Yeah, the atheist cult leader thing is moronic (oxymoronic, actually). As an atheist and skeptic, though, I don't disagree that PZ Myers is an attention whore.

If you've ever read here blog, she loves to stroke her ego about how all the nerd boys want to sniff her ass. Well, after this bullshit I bet the upcoming TAM conference will be one massive cold shoulder for her.

She did after people called her a whiner and has brought up the assault/rape angle every time she has written or spoken about it since.

But, she started using "He coulda raped me!" argument the moment people starting telling her to quit whining.

At the end of the day a man has to ask himself, "Am I a king or am I a tyrant?" Making a conscious, concerted effort to train your girlfriend like a dog is not too fucking kingly.

But you do have to admit that the PUA philosophy promotes manipulating women for sex and personal gain. That is misogynistic and Men's Rights does not condone misogyny.

No, in the context of you making the assertion that because skeptics and atheists can be irrational and human then their conclusions then must be disregarded. That is a false hood just the same as if I claimed god must not exist because Christians can be hypocrites and do evil things in the name of their god. God does not exist because god claims don't hold up under the scrutiny of evidence and the scientific method, which is designed to take human bias into account. I called you on the fact tha…

Read any "appearance" you want into my statement, it still won't make it true. The same goes for claiming that atheists and skeptics names themselves your 'better'. I could just as easily say the theists are falsely proclaiming themselves to be our "moral superiors" (literally, if you look at the Christian Dominionists). As for my 'tribe', there is not unified atheist or skeptic front. Hell, there is a large percentage of the skeptic community that doesn't even want to be associated with atheism…

I know where this guy is coming from. I'm 6'3", 270 lbs, bearded, and tend not to smile (my brain is busy and it makes me sour). I've been told repeatedly by older women that I should shave my beard and smile more because it threatens women. Fuck that. I am who I am.

As a skeptic and an atheist, I can tell you that not all skeptics and atheists are purely rational. We're still human and suffer confirmation. But, just because r/atheism has more than few white knights tilting at windmills doesn't make god or gods any less nonexistant.
