On a pure attraction basis, women would rather die alone than be with someone not hot. Why not just say they would rather die alone than be with someone they're not attracted to? Everyone can agree on the extreme ends of the attractiveness scale, which btw recognizing someone is objectively a 9-10/10 on the absurd 0-10 numerical scale doesn't necessarily mean you'd want to sleep with them, but everyone in-between can be subjectively considered to lie higher or lower than their objective rating.
