I was like that and it might come from a place of insecurity. "Why did she cheat on me?" "What am I missing?" "Can I do better next time?" until you fully release that she is at fault and would have done it anyways you will never really move on, thus you're right. Who. The fuck. Cares?

Dude, just got the shivers, you just described what happened in my last relationship bit by bit and I thank you for that. If there was any lingering doubt in me of AWALT you just crushed them. Seems like you're taking it better though. My first couple of month were stupid because I had no social circle to fall back to because having a LTR with her just turned "future family thinking mode" on. Anyways hope you coup it well and keep on keeping because, and as always, what doesn't kill you makes yo…

I still have to overcome my white knight syndrome, that sometimes is really counterproductive. Even thought if I'm a orbiter for her, it's still cool to chill with her she has a nice social circle. Been outcome independent in that regard could yield some positive stuff in the long run.

Indeed, showing neediness will get you in trouble in several stances in life.

I personally find these observations too dogmatic, by that I mean, nothing in life is black and white. Heck, even my life experiences tells me otherwise. I worked for retail some years back and at that job there were 4 couples and one of those 4 were even married the other three were normal people that found a partner inside their jobs. You can be attractive without hitting on them, that's some of the fundamentals of DHVing that I rather see as talking good about yourself. Nobody in your job wil…

I wish it were that black and white, but as always and with everything, things are gray. I know that she invests heavily when she is here, I didn't do any real move on her because she has a BF but that she hangs out with me alone, tells me she finds me attractive and that people start asking her things about me, that is a fact. My real question would be, should I just do my move on her and see how it pans out?

Pretty much. Always be first in your life, something like this: 1st: You 2nd: You 3rd: You 4th: Others

Best advice is to not be obvious about it. Asking for a number could result in you getting reported and thus: don't shit where you eat. Flirting with Girls is fine as long as you have plausible deniability. Better yet, make yourself look good, DHV and see how they respond. Normally if they like you, they will come back for some random stuff. Been there, done that. I had a hookup with a costumer that went something like this: She approached me and asked for some advice on what to buy for her moth…

She didn't text specifically, it was a random tweet

I had to text her because it was a girl that showed up in my twitter timeline and I just went for it.

I see, thanks for clearing it up. I thought there should be a moment where you have to state your intend else things would stagnate.

I won't demonize them (girls) but I will be cautious going forward. She might regret it, many people do when the "honeymoon phase" ends and then she will try contacting me the moment things go south and she hits rock bottom, they always do. She did it before but I didn't let her. I might just treat her like a college and show that she isn't influencing me emotional anymore even though she still is but changing my mindset like that will help thing move forward.

I can see it both ways, yes, they always want something in exchange but I do know at least one girl that keeps genuine friendship with a girl friend of hers. In this particular case I can't attest the situation, it could go both ways. What I do have to agree though is, when she started to drift apart in our relationship she hung out with a new girl friend of hers that I never trusted anyways and there, I agree whole heartedly that that girl wanted my Ex to be her companion when she went out. Tha…

Wasn't my intention to come off as a dick just by having a smirk on my face, I was trying to subconsciously tell her that I'm ok with everything. I once again thank you for your advise and point of view. Turning her into a plate seems out of place. She knew my family and it would wind up too much dust.

She isn't my type. Well she is just being a good friend to her friend by doing that kind of stuff.

So would it still be ok to do so now even though I saw her several times by now and didn't talk to her?

It those feel like non advise. I do get it but it's really like saying saying the end result without advising how to get there.

Thanks man I do share your vision and I always told myself that if I would cross paths with my ex I would say something to her just to come across as stoic in regards to what happened, showing that she was the one that lost out but when it happened (me seeing her after the breakup) I didn't say a thing and it dragged on and on. Now it just seems off putting if I would talk to her and there is this little voice telling me that why should I be the one talking and rewarding her for what she did. It…

I'm 50 50 on this one. There are times that she is so obvious it hurts but then there are little attitudes that reek orbiter solicitation. I'll give her a chance this week, will let her come to my place and see how she reacts. Pulling the trigger is always my weakpoint to date. I don't want her for an LTR, had one finished just two month ago but I would like to have a girl for those free hours of the day and she is a fun chick.

Might as well be a scholar and do her bidding. Feminine preselection has the opposite effect on me to be honest, makes me want to not date them.

I had that in mind too and she has done it before (rising her SMV). She always tells me about how she works out and stuff.

Smooth and tide AF. Did you run some game on her beforehand or how did this came to be?

That is true, but for now I'll do my major in programing and that's why I'm at this city right now.

Looking at your 10K my 100k look much better now. The next big city is 1h away from mine and that one is still a small one, the second biggest in my country is around 1h30 away. At the start of me trying stuff out I used to go to those cities to just do random stuff but it was getting expensive to say the least and having a follow up date was rather difficult. Do you cold approach or just do you do your day and act on opportunities?
/r/askTRP18/03/15 12:59 AM

Not an option

With 100k inhabitants it feels really odd to cold approach. When I first started out to do it I quickly found out that I was seeing the same people again and again. Is there any material I could read up to get a feel about the reality shift in small cities?

In my country there are no fraternities sadly.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
