Good observation, I should've focused on just dating and hooking up. I think I just caught up on the fact that I made a connection with someone. When things tend to move fast I usually get tunnel vision and not focus on the bigger picture. Moving forward I will pace myself and play my role. I was talking to a girl the month before her and it ended. We met online and that's when I proceeded with her.

Thanks for the reply! Yea that's my suspicions, but it's her life at the end of the day. She should do whatever makes her happy especially if I'm not a good match for her and vice versa.

Fambam is just another way of saying family or fam. My assumption is that they also had an influence on her decision. To be quite honest I'm not too sure, she probably felt that we hung out too much. Once a week was usually the max. However we were both proactive and asked each other to hang out. I told her that I thought she was a great person and wanted to be serious with her. She reacted positively to it and it set the precedent with how I interacted and invested in her. I thought she wanted …

Great question! We met online via tinder and have been talking for almost 2 months. We hit it off and that's when it escalated. We hooked up 2 times and she was pretty affectionate in public. It was her idea to introduce me to her family.

Hahaha contrary to popular belief I am actually 25 years old. So I'm not that old! I had a bad relationship with my mom and always vyed for her attention. Nothing I did impressed her so I always looked for other women for their attention. I've learned that this was a HUGE issue that I didn't know I had until last year. Not only that but I felt that I wasn't living up to certain standards and expectations so it really added fuel to the fire. I took a lot of things granted and personally. It reall…

Rejecting someone isn't easy and I've been on the other side of that boat. Thanks for the reply.

I'm not seeking earthly pleasures anymore...jk. The way I see is this, having sex is easy. I've turned girls down before and this isn't a humble brag. I don't push to have sex or etc since I'm looking for a serious relationship. Finding a genuine connection or real emotional intimacy takes priority when it comes to my relationships.

Hey I appreciate the insight and feedback. This wasn't shown but I asked her what change about her feelings towards me. She didn't give me a response but just said "let's be friends". (I delete my texts a lot). If she responded with some closure then I would've adjusted my response accordingly. I 100% agree with you response on always being confident and I will implement that moving forward.

It is a small world and my final message didn't have any negative intent. I'm cutting my losses there and if she texts me back later then I will keep it cordial. It's two mind sets that tend to crossover. I know how it pretend to be high value, but it takes a long time to discover self worth and to view yourself as high value.

I have a bad habit of deleting all my text messages so that's why it wasn't on there! But I've been there too many times and just said fuck it!

Thanks for the reply! The only reason why I don't do that is that I know that I will have some small sliver of Hope and that's what I don't want. It's an insecurity i've always had and I'm trying to work on it.

Thanks for the reply! She texted me good morning texts initially so I just kept up with it. I understand where you're coming from and appreciate the insight.

Tinder has it's up and downs. Unfortunately we just have to shoot our shots and sift through the crap. Stay strong king!

I see where you're coming from and I agree to an extent. I try to date and delay anything official until the time is right. She is genuinely a good person, but when I asked her what changed she didn't give me any formal explanation on it and just said we should be friends. Why would I want to be friends with someone who won't show me closure?

Hey thanks for the reply! I think that's what I will do moving forward. I try to match someone's pace when I'm dating. If they're texting back or wanting to meet up a certain time then it usually works for me. I usually won't even bother if they aren't receptive.

Hey thanks for the feedback! Tbh, I didn't think it was harsh. At the end of the day, she's not interested in me and that's fine. I'm not too concerned about how she reacts to my message because at the end of the day the "let's be friends" response is a dud. Chances are we most likely won't be friends and that's okay with me.

Quick story: I met this girl and we went on a few dates. We hit it off and had amazing chemistry. We kissed, hooked up, met her friends, and did all that cute dating stuff. Last Sunday, I had the chance to meet her sister and cousin the day before I got this message from her. I thought it went well but I guess not. Later that Sunday night we talk for a bit and I can feel that something is off. I text her good morning and the photo above is the response I received. .............. Self Reflection I…

Last Sunday, I had the chance to meet her sister and cousin the day before I got this message from her. If this was me last year I would've been bent out of shape. I would've fired off some corny replies and attempt to get her back. I've been dealing with on and off depression for years. Facing back to back rejection. The sam…

I second this. I've become friends with women and they were more than glad to vouch and introduce me to their friends.

Amazing read. I was wondering what your school of thought was in regard to approaching woman without being or seen as needy?

It depends on the scenario and if you can gauge them enough. Receptive? If they drop a lot of likes on pictures of yourself then it's a dead giveaway for the most part, you might as well slide in and say "All this liking, but no sliding?". Build up a good rap sheet with her by dropping light hearted comments (not thirsty heart eyes or kissy emojis) and likes on her Instagram if you want to pique her interest. If you have a lot of photos of your life, GOOD it makes it a bit easier. Your chances o…

Go up to her and drop this bomb. "So, if I wasn't buying all this (insert item here), would you still check me out?"

It's okay to feel bad, but don't let it tear you down. Let it be fuel to the fire and be a better person. There are going to be people who aren't attracted to you , but there are going to be just as much that are.
