For all she loathes men, she kiiiinda looks like one.
/r/EverydayMisandry07/12/25 06:48 AM

I assume you mean something like charisma/charm. I can be charming when I’m already friends or get along with someone, but it’s very hard to be like that when I’m just approaching someone, especially a woman I find cute.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/25 01:51 PM

And who the fuck said you couldn’t? I just asked for you to stop pretending men who are single are some sort of evil or pathetic people in some way. Also judging by your flair, why do you even care about this subject? You don’t want anything to do with men.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/25 01:36 PM

Lol. So not getting laid is a moral failing? Damn.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/25 01:34 PM

Yeah sure. Physical appearance is pretty much a non factor in what kind of person someone is. So, dear women, please stop saying you choose men based on moral reasons, and that you reject a guy based on him not being enough of a good person. Admit you can be simply looking to take your chances with a guy you find attractive and/or superficially charming. Don’t shame us for struggling to find a partner as if it surely was for some fault of our own.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/25 12:59 PM

That is true as well.

Tbf, many women also think men live on easy mode. It’s called not bothering to understand people with different experiences from yours, which isn’t limited to men.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 10:22 PM

The eye contact thing can indeed be worked on. The humor is subjective and it’s a matter of finding someone compatible with yours. The charisma… I’m afraid that thing is more inherent to each person: you either have it or you don’t. I don’t know if you can train yourself to be charismatic if you are not so from the get go.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 01:44 PM
2

And that’s totally fine, you should reject whoever you don’t want to be. I just don’t like when some women pretend that whenever a guy can’t get laid it’s because he’s not good enough in some area. He could simply not be the type of the girls that rejected him, it doesn’t have to be that he’s a “bad person”.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 01:07 PM

Or, here’s an idea: how about women simply tell the guy they like, that they like him?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/25 04:59 PM

Thanks for the honesty. I just wish some women (not you) stop pretending that they reject guys based on moral reasons or some BS. A nice guy that can’t get laid isn’t deep down some evil creep, he’s likely just not very handsome, or charming or has visible insecurities. He’s likely a perfectly okay dude. We have to stop finding reasons to shit on guys who for whatever reason can’t get a partner. Let’s limit the shitting to actual creeps and abusers (who very often DO find partners).

It’s kinda tricky and messy. I think it would be nice for men and women to approach each other more or less in equal amounts, rather than men overwhelmingly approaching often coming around as pestering (either deliberately or accidentally) and women merely giving “hints” (which aren’t even universal, what’s a hint for a woman is simply being friendly for another). Buuuuuuut it’s not gonna happen anytime soon. The truth remains men have lower standards and a greater desire to pursue women, at lea…

Yeah but more often than not men grouping together is demonized, as apparently there’s such a big danger of us becoming vile misogynists if there aren’t women around to control us or approving of us. Funny how women only groups aren’t believed to be in danger of becoming misandrists.

For some “go to therapy” kinda has become a more politically correct way of saying “man up, don’t bother me with your shit”.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/25 05:29 PM

You are right. But as men we must NOT play that game. If a woman is being a womanchild playing “hard to get” and throwing fake “no”s, that’s HER problem.

Finally someone reasonable ffs.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 06:54 PM

Probably things she’d define like “the bare minimum” like: Being completely emotionally and financially stable (even if she isn’t). Being 100% supportive to her problems but not needing to vent about his own. Showing the “right” type of vulnerability, that being the one that makes her feel important and loved, not about any insecurities or problems of his own. Things like “I love you so much, I don’t know what I did to deserve you!”. Long story short, “being her rock”.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 06:54 PM

OP, he likely read that, and he’s answering to your post. You quoting yourself like it’s a gotcha… it’s not the gotcha you think it is. You’ve been doing it since your other post where you claimed you cared so much about men (only to then do this post, in which you dismiss men asking for help as pathetic crybabies undeserving of it).
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 06:50 PM
6

I’m sure you think you just dropped a super truth bomb here but this is extremely dissonant to what actually happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 06:46 PM

I only vaguely remember one instance (so I should have said “one woman”, my bad) and it was a few months ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 03:15 AM

Okay so then it’s more accurate to say some feminists support custody rights, just like some support mental health awareness for men. Others simply consider men oppressors that have to be knocked down a peg. Feminism as a whole isn’t sympathetic towards men. We are the beneficiaries of an evil system as far as they are concerned.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 10:22 PM

But saying most women or feminists in general fight against men’s equality is just not true. Plenty of feminists care about men’s mental health, custody rights, and toxic masculinity, they just frame it as part of fixing gender roles overall, not competing with women’s issues. When have feminists cared about custody rights?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 05:58 PM

I’ve read women in here saying a middle aged man that hasn’t married is likely to be a pedophile smh.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 05:55 PM

Telling boys to shut the fuck up and learn rather than addressing what is wrong with them with empathy and attention, is quite worse than “not coddling boys”. Were you not against toxic masculinity and men not expressing their feelings?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 05:23 PM

Intersectional feminists have frequently brought up discrimination in the justice system. Yeah, but in matters of race most likely. In a “black man is judged more harshly than white man” way. Not in a “man is judged more harshly than woman” way. Although you can correct me if I’m wrong with a source.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 05:04 PM

You are increasingly moving from “I’m sympathetic to men” towards “men evil women good” territory with every comment you make. For all your supposed sympathy towards men I think you also feel some disdain for us.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 04:57 PM

I wonder if they then pause and try to politically correct themselves with “but not gay or black men!”.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates08/11/25 10:36 PM

True that, although I’d say men are more easily replaceable romantically speaking. Women do have an easier time finding sexual or romantic partners due to men’s lower standards. Now I’m not saying they can easily find GOOD partners. Just partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/25 07:35 PM

Well I wish the average person online had your consistency rather than switching the criteria depending on the argument. I’ve seen plenty of people dismiss MRAs or simple advocates for men as a group of evil incels simply because of a minority of lunatics.

That’s the problem though. Ask two feminists something and they’ll likely give you different answers. It’s inaccurate to say “THIS and only THIS is what feminism entails”. There are feminists empathetic to men who simply want everyone to have better lives free of gender roles. There are feminists who loathe men either out of bad experiences with them or out of too much time in echo chambers. There are feminists who, while not part of the second group, are quite tolerant of them. Your experience …

Do you think the many men telling stories about how the women in their lives, despite begging them to open up, acted all disgusted and lost respect for them after they did open up, are lying or are somehow the bad guys of their stories?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/25 01:15 PM

“There isn’t a men loneliness epidemic, just a male accountability epidemic/male loser epidemic”. “Men are trash”. “Kill all men”. “When a woman accuses a man of SA her, believe her until she’s proven wrong. Better to believe a liar than a rapist.” What do you think of those statements?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/25 01:07 PM

“Men should cry more”… but only with the amount and timing comfortable for women, and for the right reasons like loving their GF/wives/children so much and feeling not good enough for them. Otherwise it’s “emotional labor” and “women aren’t your therapists”.

You know that a person can hate x group without explicitly saying they hate said group right? Many misogynists, racists, homophobes etc, probably don’t think of themselves as bigots. The same is true for feminists that hate men.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/25 12:56 PM

Male feminists, similarly to white “anti racists” are sometimes quiiiiiiite insufferable. It’s because they are constantly trying to prove that they are “one of the good ones”.

I just saw the Tinmen post and this… character. Behind that smug self righteousness and parroting of callous misandrist talking points, there must be a deeply self hating guy desperate for approval from women.

Let me guess: you think that feminists that spout disdain or hatred towards men are either isolated anomalies, “punching up” and thus justified, or lashing out at the evil patriarchy.

In my opinion both men and women show their most asshole selves with other men and women respectively. Maybe some competition shit going around.

Be honest, you’d likely be saying something like “girls, don’t settle for any less than this, this is the bare minimum!” if this had been a guy talking about how he intends to take care of his GF/wife.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/25 04:18 PM

While I’m not agreeing with OP, it’s also true the reverse happens often. In feminist and progressive circles, men as a whole are blamed for the evil actions of some towards women and expected to somehow be able to micromanage the whole gender into being good. This is just the other side of the coin.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/25 03:07 PM
4

And yet men should micromanage behavior across all men?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 01:17 PM

“Feminism is for men too” is a half hearted talking point to lure men into the movement, but not sincere. Feminism is for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 02:09 AM

I struggle to understand why you feel so strongly about women who condemn men for abusing and raping women. If the hyperbole of "all men" is the problem, then surely you must have noticed how often men use "all women" when saying women are gold-diggers, whores, bad drivers, irrational, emotional, stupid, and so much more. And I’m sure you loathe men who use those “all women” examples you mention. Why can’t you disapprove of the “all men” hyperbole too?

I’m usually against calling women the C-word but holy shit she deserved it after such an awful and callous response. Screw her.

I’m fine with feminism not prioritizing men’s issues. I would just like feminists to stop pretending “feminism is for everyone”. It’s not, it’s for women. And if it benefits men, it’s completely by accident. Remember that we are the “oppressors” as far as they are concerned. And especially, I’d like feminists to stop having the gal of stating that the only valid way of addressing men’s problems is via a feminist lens. That’s fuckin insane.

I guess it started out for necessity. In prehistoric times, males were the ones send to hunt dangerous animals for the tribe to eat. Females were left with the kids and collecting fruits and plants. Boys couldn’t be raised to be soft, nice and vulnerable. Leaving that aside, I do think men have a slight stronger drive to have sex biologically speaking, because generally speaking, male mammals try to have as much descendants as possible, whereas female mammals try to have the best possible descen…

Because they have more opportunities to do so as the physically stronger half of humanity. That plus upbringing that teaches boys to be aggressive, stoic and dominant. I think this operates on a very gender essentialist logic of men being these violent beasts by default and women being these angelic flowers by default. Cruelty, malice, competition, selfishness, violence, distrust, envy and ambition are all human traits, not male ones.

As a teenager I was bullied relentlessly for being a virgin and not having a girlfriend. I can assure you it wasn’t “because of my personality”. It was because I was a shy, meek and low profile guy who they could torment easily, plus the fact that men are expected to fuck women easily “if they are real men”.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/25 10:38 PM

Yeah I pretty much agree. I’d like to add some thoughts though: Sex should stop being seen as something “women give to men” and instead should be seen as something men and women do together (or between themselves in the case of homosexual people). Sex should stop being seen not only as a reward, but also as an indicative of social status for men. If you keep telling men they are worthless losers if they don’t get laid, then of course they’ll be more obsessed with getting it. (Some) women should …

Maybe I’m dumb but I never understood the point of making the “lifetime” and “last 12 months” distinction in these graphics. Edit: “Made to penetrate” is such an important variation of SA that we need to keep in mind when talking about rape towards men.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/25 03:29 PM

I can sort of see your point but I wouldn’t say women as a whole don’t even think of SAing men. Men do it more, sure. But it’s likely due to factors like being stronger on average and having more opportunities to physically overpower a victim, and not risking pregnancy via rape. If women were on average as strong as men and say, could consciously decide after which sexual act they get pregnant, I’m pretty sure the SA rates would be way more evenly matched between the genders.

I don’t think women are repulsed by kindness or niceness. I think they are repulsed by social awkwardness or shyness, even if they exist within a decent or kind man. On the other hand, they are attracted by charm and confidence, even if they exist within an asshole. The charming asshole is 99 times out of 100, gonna be more successful romantically than the shy kind guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/25 02:55 PM

Speak for yourself dudette. Sure, some women might agree with you. But it's not universal. Some women don't want that. Some women say they want that but then they feel turned off by a man who "can't be their rock". Some women only want men's vulnerability and emotions as a means to boost their own egos.

Charisma and being somewhat physically attractive is what makes people date you. Not necessarily being a good person. A socially awkward guy that wouldn't hurt a fly is inevitably gonna be less romantically successful than a charismatic prick. Can we stop pretending women (or anyone for that matter) are some sort of fair and balanced arbiters of which men deserve to be in a relationship and which don't? Being single doesn't mean you are a bad person, or a loser, or "not good enough" in some way.…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 02:09 PM

I understand and I sympathize with women being cautious. There are psychos out there. But something about this app seems fishy to me. To assume that no woman or almost no woman is gonna put a good or at least meh guy as an evil asshole in there, out of spite or vindictiveness like the defenders of the app claim, is to apply some gender essentialist logic of women as a whole being fair, balanced and kind judges of character.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 12:58 PM
3

True, but let's face it: Men listing their icks about women are gonna be answered with more mockery than women doing the same. Men simply don't have the luxury of being as selective as women are. And I'm not saying women are wrong for being selective (there's a lot of psychos out there) but it's undeniable that they have an easier time expressing their distaste about certain attributes in men. They know they'll get hit on regardless.

I think the men that say that are reacting to the frequent phrase thrown around of "feminism cares about men too, men should be feminists". And I personally don't agree with that. Feminism is for women. It benefits women and only occasionally and accidentally has benefited men. Plus there's a certain overlap with misandry. The stereotype of feminists being man hating raging lunatics is exaggerated and malicious... But I cannot say it's 100% false. Men need their own movement, and (and this is ve…

Doesn't mean you can't benefit off of it tho. True, but I can say with quite a bit of certainty that "men benefiting" wasn't and isn't even close to the goal that feminism chases. It's more of an accidental side/collateral effect. Many men already do using women for sex and not paying on dates. Sure, greedy and hypocritical men exist. Same way that greedy and hypocritical women that selectively apply gender roles depending on when they benefit them, also exist.

I'm sorry, but while I agree that "dating and sex" aren't thaaaat big of a deal, it's quite fishy that you, a woman, appoint yourself as an arbiter of what constitutes actual problems for men. Imagine if a man started talking about what are "real problems" for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/25 05:58 PM

It's pretty much a hate movement at this point. I don't know if calling it "a hate movement". Feminism is necessary to preserve women's rights. That being said, it sadly overlaps quite a lot with misandry, and more often than not, the reasonable feminists don't feel the need to call them out. Have you seen how feminists react to non-feminist women? It is indeed quite disturbing.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/25 05:55 PM

I guess that as long as you don't go around harassing men and you simply avoid them that's fair. You do you. That being said, again, please don't have kids. Especially not boys. They don't need a mother to whom they have to constantly prove that they are worthy of being loved by, despite their gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/25 05:41 PM

I'm sorry for whatever happened to you, but if you think hating a gender is a valid reaction that can't be criticized, clearly you either had a bad therapist, you didn't listen to them, or you need more treatment. Either that or you simply enjoy having a target to hate since it can be morbidly cathartic to hate an out-group, in your case men. I hope you don't ever have sons until you have sorted this shit out.

Yeah this is true. But it would be far better for people to stop virgin shaming or single shaming guys as "losers" or "weirdos". I've even read online that men that reach middle age being single, are likely to be pedos.

"Be less predatory and you might be seen as a person too" Your level of smug self righteousness and misandry is morbidly amazing. What is each individual man supposed to do? Just... will our entire gender into being good people? Judge people by their actions, not their gender. You wouldn't like to be conflated with vile women commiting crimes, so don't do that with men.

When women are young and attractive, men take personal offense to getting hints or no hints at all that they might not be good enough. But you don't liking a man doesn't mean he's "not good enough". It just means he isn't your type. Unless there's some obvious factor like the dude smelling awful or being rude. If you tell a guy he isn't good enough for you, then yeah of course he won't take it very well. It sounds like you are putting yourself on a pedestal and looking down on him. Nobody likes …

I agree with you. Tbf to women, there is some social pressure to like "the right things" about men, or at least pretend to, and that probably influences women to hide behind that "my tastes are based on morality" mask. Women (and men) can be shallow, can have shit tastes, can claim to like one thing but in reality like another. They can be messy and fallible like men. Both men and women themselves need to stop considering the latter some pure angelic arbiters of morality with their selection of …

Good for you and your husband then. I do believe though that people (women and men) are more influenced by conservative ideals than what they realize. Even progressive people. And an example of this can indeed be women that claim to want sensitive and chill men that don't need to be the biggest and most successful man in the room... Only to then fall for those same guys they criticize and feel turned off by those they claimed to want.

I agree to some extent. I think people (men and women), even progressive ones, are more influenced by conservative ideals than what they themselves realize. A manifestation of this is indeed women that claim to want sensitive men who don't need to be the biggest man in the room... And then falling for those same guys they criticize while kinda feeling turned off by the ones they claimed to want. People are sometimes horny, shallow and hypocritical. The thing is, virgin men aren't gonna boast about their virginity like promiscuous men do about their "conquests". I was a virgin until my early 20s, and you can bet I didn't tell anyone that. The first time I shared it was with the very girl I lost my virginity to, and only because she asked. Luckily she didn't judge me, but she could have. Men and women look down on virgin men the same way they look down on promiscuous women.

I'm not even 30 and I may follow your advice now. I don't want to be manipulated into a role that limits and harms me by neither conservatives nor progressives. I don't need to be a rich, shallow and womanizing asshole with four cars; nor a virtue signaling, self flagellating and repentant for being a beneficiary of the patriarchy idiot, to be a real man and to be happy. I'll take whatever advice or message benefits and helps me, but I won't subscribe to any set of rules.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/06/25 10:12 PM

Yeah true. Often enough, real problems are presented in this sub, but it's done less as an exposition and more like a fuck you to this group or the other (and this sub isn't unique in that regard, this behavior is everywhere in the internet). And thus the people answering that feel provoked, also do it as a fuck you. And no meaningful discussion is had.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 07:35 PM

I agree with your comment in general, but I wouldn't underestimate the role women have in enforcing this societal lack of empathy. It's not just men the ones that bully and mock sensitive, romantically unsuccessful or socially awkward men. Women do it too.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 04:10 PM
12

I kinda agree but it's also true that many women demand that men step up to do their part to "stop misogyny and call it out" in order to not be considered part of the problem.

Username checks out lmao. In all seriousness, I think it's more accurate to say that society practices performative caring or performative outrage towards certain subjects at the expense of others. Which are those subjects depends on the time period. For instance, it's kinda mainstream and socially safe to publicly rage about sexual assault against women nowadays, after a long ass time of it not being taken seriously. But sexual assault against men (especially if committed by women) is still see…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 04:03 PM

I half agree. There are indeed some innate differences between men and women, although I'm not informed enough about biology or psychology to point out the specifics. It's also true that women have a role in enforcing that drive for success in men via their romantic choices. But I don't think it's a bad idea to want to eliminate gender roles and just let men and women drift to whatever role they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 03:57 PM
64

I'd like to point out, before any "by other men!!!" person appears, that both men and women enforce these expectations. Not only do men look down on financially, socially or romantically unsuccessful men, so do women. Hell, it's not even just conservatives. Progressives do it as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 03:51 PM

I really appreciate you giving credit to the many stories of women not reacting well to men opening up rather than rationalizing them as "well that rarely happens and even if it does, those reactions were likely justified" like I've sometimes seen. And I agree with your arguments.

A judiciary system largely run by men. And largely run by rich white men, largely targeting poor, black men. So again, the systemic oppression certainly exists, but is much more complicated than systemic sexism against men. Do you think that with more women on the system it would be less discriminatory towards men or more? I admit I have no evidence for the following, but I've heard multiple times that women have a greater tendency to favour other women than men do with each other. Like there's …

It's kinda similar to the problem with sexual assault victims of each gender. Women are sometimes told that it wasn't that big of a deal, that they are exaggerating, or even blamed for the assault. Men on the other hand may not even be recognized as victims of anything at all if they were assaulted by a woman. Some progress has been made in the man to man SA but I'm afraid that in the woman to man variant people are still... Backwards.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/25 10:44 PM

Well you aren't ever gonna get accused of being privileged on the basis of your sex by progressive people. That's apparently exclusively our thing as men. And yes, sometimes the discussion about privilege does have accusatory and blaming undertones. It is also kinda dissonant and triggering when the word "privilege" is used on a person trapped in an objectively shitty situation, like a homeless mentally ill white man with no loved ones, who apparently "oppresses" with his existence, a rich white…

While I'm inclined to agree with most of this, it does imply that in equal economic, physical and "racial" conditions, men will always have it easier than women, and I don't think that's always the case. Most homeless people seem to be men, most suicides seem to be men, there are far less shelters for abused men than for abused women, the judiciary system seems to be harsher on men... Overall, it would seem to me that most people "at the very bottom" are men. Men are certainly most of the top 1%…

Yeah, the gender bent version of this would be "all women care about in a man is money and status". It's like these people don't really have loved ones from the other gender and so they use cartoon images in their heads as references for how an opposite sex person is. Or worse, even if they do have loved ones from the other gender, they rationalise their prejudices with "he/she is one of the few good ones".

Totally agreed. I'd also add stop teaching boys that they are only real men if they get laid. Getting rejected doesn't make them less of a man or a loser, it just means not everyone is gonna be compatible with them and that's fine. I'm not sure about calling this a "society-wide issue". I simply think it's an underestimated and not talked about enough issue. Men are called out for not being vulnerable as if they were simply being stupid and closed off and hurting themselves for nothing. But it's an oversimplified and nuanced issue, and one of the reasons for it is that the so called "sexy vulnerability" shown in TV and media is just a small peek into the whole thing. And I've seen in Reddit enough stories of guys that open…

They are but as a fellow guy I can sort of understand their thinking. They believe they can't afford to be too picky or they might end up totally alone. I wish women would just stop giving "righteous" or "moral" reasoning to their distaste for a guy. If you don't like him you don't like him. That's it. Don't make it "his fault" for not being good enough in something.

It's not merely a natural tendency. Society pushes men to be competitive and women to be united. It's no coincidence that men that don't measure up to other men in terms of masculinity or success of any kind are disdained, and so are women "that hate other women".
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/25 04:10 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/25 04:08 PM

Otherwise I think it's dumb and embarassing to take credit for what hard working and/or genius men have done and keep doing just because I share genitals with them. I don't think that's even up for debate, we all instinctively know that women are less violent and less prone to defending imperialism It is up to debate and there's no "we". This is something you believe, as well as other like minded people that buy into gender essentialism. The differences between men and women don't involve a difference in malice or aggressive tendencies, they involve a difference in subtlety, which comes mostly from the different ways we are raised. Men are more openly aggre…

I kinda agree with the first half but not with the second. It's why countries are so violent towards each other and wars are so common throughout society, power is disproportionately held by men throughout the world even if most men won't benefit from every aspect of that fact. Are you trying to imply that if women mostly ruled the world things would be better? Cuz that would be getting suspiciously close to a "men violent brutes, women wise pacifists" gender essentialist view of things.

One thing to consider about men (or women) like him is that there's usually a reason or reasons behind that stoicism. They aren't like this "because it's cool". Oh... I'm sorry about the uncomfortable experience. I can't help but pity the guy, he's clearly super traumatized and not mentally well, but your safety comes first. Take care.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/25 01:26 AM

Agreed. It's not a "this is women/men's fault" thing. It's more of a "gender roles still latching on people's collective consciousness" thing.

Should only men be expected to develop emotional resilience?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 08:38 PM

I risk sounding a bit like a manospherian when saying this, but I think maaaany women prefer a strong asshole over a timid kind guy. And sure, preferences are preferences. But some women pretend like all guys have to do to get women is "being good and treat them like human beings" when the truth is neither men's nor women's romantic preferences are based on morality. Being a good person can be a bonus if you are also strong, but more often than not it kindness alone won't make you a good match.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 08:07 PM

Admittedly there are guys posting what you say (not sure if you are including me on that statement or not) but it's not like women don't do this as well.

So women shouldn't be expected to do this?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 06:45 PM

The issue isn't that men can't open up. It's that they have no resilience. Do you feel badass for writing this?

I'd like to be able to express my emotions with the same range women are allowed to and without the added expectation of "being a man" about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 06:36 PM
7

With that said, men are not women and no matter what women say, whether they believe it or not, the vast majority of them want a man who is clealry emotionally stronger than them. And this is unfair.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 06:34 PM
12

You must disparage women in the process. Ultimately, everything men do is really just women's fault. How disappointing. But not unusual for PPD. This sub really is just some men whining about their inability to take accountability for their life and actions. This sounds a lot like being defensive. I assume you must be projecting some unpleasant discussions with other guys on me, because nothing I said merited this answer. Have a nice day. I'm not arguing with you anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 06:27 PM
13

What the actual hell. I only asked for coherence rather than some gendered statement about only men needing to have their shit together. You interpreting this as an attack on women is a you problem. I should have known you were a defensive and taunting person after your emotional downvote to my first response.

Alright. Fair enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 06:20 PM

I mean the logic of trauma dumping or blaming the other gender for your problems not being vulnerability or at least valid vulnerability. As long as you apply that to both genders and not only men I agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 06:17 PM

Vulnerability is HOT when it's the RIGHT type of vulnerability. Such as?

I gave some examples on the post but I can give others: Confiding to their GF and wife about feeling intimidated about an asshole coworker with her not judging him as unmanly. Asking for or silently leaning towards their SO for a hug or a cuddle. Asking for some alone time when he's upset. Crying and needing to vent about a particularly shitty and unfortunate day. Basically the guy needing support or understanding about negative situations that don't involve his GF feeling important or flattered…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 06:14 PM

Opening up is not having irrational beliefs validated then sitting idly by while you(royal) insult them for telling you the thing you're upset about is factually incorrect. Of course not. I never said or implied it was.

It would be foolish to generalize and treat women as a monolith, so I'll simply say what I think some women do, either consciously or not. I think many women sincerely believe they want a vulnerable man and openly ask for that, but they don't realize what they are truly asking for because they have an idealized image of what a vulnerable man is that they kinda fetishize. With this I mean the guy that is extremely perceptive and sensitive about his girlfriend's needs without her needing to tell h…

/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:57 PM
7

I don't see it changing anything. I don't see "it's not just men, occasionally you'll be harassed by a woman in power instead" as being a good reason to stop talking about meToo. It probably is a good reason to stop saying "believe women and hold men accountable" as if this was exclusively a "men abusing women" thing; and to start saying "believe victims and hold abusers accountable no matter who they are". Male victims or female victims of other women, also need to be encouraged to come forward…

There isn’t anything especially heroic about men’s self sacrifice than women’s, and men’s disdain for white knights confesses that men believe men act heroically in order to impress women, not from altruistic inspiration. Women also disdain women that defend men. They call them pick mes.

Yeah it kinda sucks but you are right about this. Guys need to understand (and society needs to stop telling them otherwise) that being rejected by a woman doesn't mean you are "less" or "inferior" or "not good enough". It just means that woman wasn't into you. You are not any less of a man for being rejected. What's more, I can think of something worse and more humiliating than being rejected: Being accepted for pity.

Women's preferences in men can be as shallow and immature as men's, and they are not based in just morality. "The best, most kindhearted men" won't attract the most women. They will attract the women that value that above all else, which is not all of them. And unlike what a certain user says, it's not Incel or misogynistic to say so. On the contrary, pretending that women are some enlightened wise beings as a whole that always chose the best man possible, is what's dehumanizing to women. Women …

You don't know what that term means. Ask several people about this term and they'll give you different answers. It used to mean something but now it's just a buzzword for "man does something I don't like and it's pathetic and harmful". I'm aware it's original meaning is something along the lines of "bunch of expectations about men that are harmful to them and the people around them". Which sure, does exist. But men's issues can't be summed up with "if only they cried more they'd be fine, they do…

There are people who unironically think guys should simply "know" when a woman doesn't want to be approached (I'm not talking about a dark street, I'm talking about social spaces like pubs), and that not realizing it is either incredibly socially inept or creepy.

Men face death and women face rape and death. This is what you said. This is the reason why it's dumb to play who has it worse, because everyone has it bad during war. People literally are tortured and lose their lives just for some losers on the internet to use those people's pain and suffering to fuel this stupid faux gender war. It's disgusting, this whole post is so disgusting to me. I feel sorry for the people actually experiencing these hardships. I agree.

Are you sure men don't face rape or at least mutilation as well during war? To give an example, IIRC in the Massacre of Nanjing, an author of a book about the subject called Iris Chang, described that besides the tens of thousands of raped Chinese women, many Chinese men were also sodomized and forced at gunpoint to rape their female relatives. I also recall that during the early stages of the Russia/Ukraine war, there was a video circulating in Twitter about a captured male soldier from Ukraine…

There are also feminists who act extremely dismissive of issues primarily faced by men such as workplace deaths, suicides, countries drafting only men to war, amongst others. Doesn't change the fact that, growing up, feminists were the only people who advocated for men to not have to conform to strictly defined masculinity, just as it advocated for women to not have to conform to strict femininity. Feminism by definition means that men's issues have just as much weight to women as women's issues, but that never bears out in reality. You add on a thick layer of irony and bitter sarcasm that's all the rage on the Internet these days, and it's no wonder that men either react negatively or check out entirely The thing is even feminists themselves don't seem to agree on what feminism covers. /r/PurplePillDebate18/12/24 07:29 PM

I agree, but I'm assuming some of the people that engage into "men are trash/women are trash" do have some traumatic experiences with the other gender. An absent or abusive father/mother, sexual assault, physical or psychological violence in a romantic relationship, you name it. Many are probably just exaggerating whatever petty or moderate displeasure they faced with the other gender, or are just the result of too much echo chambering, of course. I was trying to encompass all possibilities.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/24 07:27 PM

Yep. I guess it's more cathartic for people to belittle and dismiss others rather than trying to relate and find common ground. One gives you a dopamine rush. The other is harder to achieve, although it can also be pleasant if done successfully.

I don't mind women being cautious and careful with stranger men, I know it's simply self preservation and not a spiteful "fuck you" to men in general. It's a sad and regrettable reality but well... It's reality. We ourselves as men are wary of stranger men, I know I become slightly on guard when I'm walking alone at night and a group of somewhat loudmouthed dudes is walking in my direction. In fact, I'd even say dangerous men are more likely to physically attack fellow men, just as they are more…

I'm talking about how she used a murder as an example of her supporting whoever she sees as a member of the oppressed class. I'm not analysing the specific murder. This doesn't negate what I said. Feminists do consider men the oppressor class and women the oppressed class. And you, someone that is either a feminist or at least very sympathetic to them, said you support the oppressed hating their oppressors, even saying you are on the side of a specific killer to put an example.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 07:09 PM

So to be clear you're wanting feminists to call out every single instance of feminists doing something men don't like right? How is this different from feminists demanding that men police other men's behavior every they do something they don't like?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 07:06 PM

If you scour the globe looking for all examples of men being sexual predators and compile them all in one place then it's going to look like all men are sexual predators. I get the sinking feeling you have an issue with that though lol.... Funny you use this example considering your flair, the whole "I rather meet with a bear than a man" which was used by many women as a bullying and taunting tactic about how men are sooooo likely to be sexual predators.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 07:05 PM

Of course I give grace to men hating their oppressors. That's why I'm on team Luigi in this Health Insurance shooting business. A "courageous" woman that fully expected her boyfriend to protect her. That's not very courageous.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 03:45 PM

There's quite a lot of shitting on men in social media like Twitter or Tik Tok. It's more than "very few" people.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 03:40 PM
1

Alright, different question then, would you expect (and tacitly demand) your man to serve as your protector in a conflict you started with a guy?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 02:31 PM
3

No, I wouldn't use her as a human shield. Where in the world did you get that idea? If a guy threatened my GF/female friend, I would put myself between the two, but because I care about her and I'm bigger and stronger, not because as a man that's "my duty" or whatever bullshit. There shouldn't be an expectation for men to get hurt in the service of women, especially not by feminists (like I assume you are) who claim to be all for gender equality and eliminating gender roles.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 02:26 PM
12

Like the other comment said, many aggressive men tend to be more aggressive with a fellow man rather than with women. Call it twisted chivalry, call it macho bullshit, but it happens. More men than women die because of violent crime. With all that in consideration, having reserves about fighting doesn't seem unreasonable. Maybe, just maybe, you are somewhat more comfortable with the idea of a man getting hurt than a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 06:19 AM

losing a fight is a million times better than sitting there glued to your phone, fully aware that someone you claim to 'love' is in serious danger right in front of your eyes. I wouldn't go as far as labeling who's a "real man" or not, but I will say this, that guy? he wouldn't be in my life, period. Yet you would expect him to put himself in danger for you and would get really angry if he didn't according to your own comment. That man being someone you supposedly love as your boyfriend or frien…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 05:57 AM

And the man's own safety isn't a factor to you? If he looked cool while fighting and you weren't in any danger would you like to see your man fighting for you?

This is why, no matter how despicable and imbecilic phony progressives are in regards to their views of men, we must remember that conservatives are not the solution.

I agree with all of your stances although I think the dickhead you argued with does not represent the average MRA. Are there some eye rolling worthy misogynistic conservatives inside the MRA movement? Sadly yes. Just like there are some unhinged misandrists inside the feminist movement (I argued with one only two days ago). I think the kind of women you mention feel excited about a "bad man with a hidden good heart that he'll only show to his special girl". It's like a young girl fantasy that some women never grow out of. It's the reason for why characters like Daemon Targaryen and the vampire from Twillight are so popular with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 11:59 PM

Well that's rough and bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 09:38 PM

At least online, the most common complaint that I see about women by men is them being manipulative, picky and "incapable of taking responsibility". The most common complaint that I see about men by women is them being not empathetic enough, not supportive enough, not attentive enough, or not having the same political views.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 09:18 PM
5

In my experience, in most places filled with only one gender, shit talk about the other gender will ensue. It's a mix of men and women resenting each other and not understanding each other but smugly pretending they got the other completely figured out.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 09:07 PM
10

I never said it's justified to hate women, in fact I agree with you that doing so it's pointless and it doesn't help anyone. But I've seen people complain about shitting on women being vile and unacceptable hate speech but shitting on men being not big of a deal because of some nebulous and lazy reasoning a la "it's punching up, they are the ones in power, oh boo hoo, facts are more important than their fee fees". So I wanted to know if you are one of those.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 09:01 PM

Would you say the same about hostile to men spaces like the TwoX sub? Or are those "acceptable punching up"?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 08:41 PM

If I had to guess, I assume this woman had an either absent or abusive father, and/or at least one bad experience with boyfriends, and afterwards she started echo chambing in man hating sites until she became the... Success she's today. I'd find her story pitifully sad if there wasn't a son involved (whose father I'm pretty sure this woman also hates). As it is, I'm kinda worried for the boy.
/r/EverydayMisandry10/12/24 06:43 PM
17

And she wants to raise him with the mentality of "not being a rapist scumbag". She seriously thinks she's the difference between her son growing up to be a good person and a rapist. If the kid turns out alright, it will be despite her, no thanks to her.

Incel really isn't the "ultimate insult" at all. It has just lost its true definition of solely being involuntarily celibate. It kinda is tho. Incel is thrown around in discussions by people that don't know how to properly retort a point so they go the easy way: Call a man worthless and pathetic for not getting laid AKA an incel, and thus, his argument is invalid because he's a "defective" man that doesn't have sex enough, even if the discussion had nothing to do with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/24 05:22 PM
20

It's so amusing that both conservatives and progressives fall into this, despite the latter claiming to be oh so accepting of women's bodily autonomy and oh so against toxic masculinity in men (which part of it is the obsession with getting laid). Spite is way stronger than "ideals".

Americans truly have a special ability to make ridiculous movements become viral and way more relevant than they deserve to be: 4B, MGTOW, flat earthers, anti vaccines, etc. The worst part is though, that even dumber and stupider versions of those phenomenons arrive in Latin America a few years later, or at least that's what I've seen happening in my country Argentina.

That should apply to MRAs and feminists.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/24 03:06 PM
1

So it's valid for feminists to consider MRAs evil and wrong for male advocates to even criticize feminism?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/24 02:14 PM
14

This happens too with the genders reversed. Even more so I'd say. Women are absolutely better predisposed towards other women than towards men.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/24 06:30 AM
1

Criticizing feminism is being against equality of the sexes? Wow.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/24 06:10 AM

Well feminists already consider MRAs as a whole as misogynistic and vile.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/24 06:07 AM

Then don't come up with the "feminism is good for men too" bs. Just call it for what it is: advocacy for women. Don't switch the definition to win an argument. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Yes and no. There are definitely women that find men who are intimidating and domineering towards other men attractive, and psychopaths are usually charming, which is another trait that makes you attractive. I'm not saying being aggressive or psychopathic makes you a good or successful person, buuuuut it's false to say that it doesn't attract some women.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/24 01:53 PM

You are not getting my point. There are women that reject ugly men while calling them either to their face or to their backs creeps or pests, when they have accepted dates with more attractive men that acted the same way as the others. A man being a predator shouldn't depend on whether the woman he's approaching finds him cute or not. It should depend on his actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/24 10:40 PM
-2

True. All I'm saying is that we should be honest about the different standards we apply to advances depending on whether we find the person attractive or not. An attractive man being mildly insistent and successfully getting a date with a woman isn't more "moral" than an ugly man attempting the same with that same woman and failing. I think labelling the latter as a predator and not the former is kinda unfair.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/24 10:36 PM
1

But not many men are gonna call unattractive women sex pests or predators. They won't pretend their preferences are based on morality and ethics rather than looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/24 10:21 PM
1

I'd say it comes down to women having on average better support systems and less hostility from their environments to lean on other people emotionally, compared to men who are still expected to just kinda have their shit together (from both other men and women, it's not a "by other men" issue), which not only causes bottled up heartache on the short term, but also ignorance on how to deal with recurrent and chronic emotional problems long term.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/24 10:12 PM

I think you need to take a look at what actually happens to women during war I know, horrible things happen to men too. But that's not the point. Those things aren't state mandated, unlike the selective draft. Anyways, you can't honestly believe there's not a single fucking woman left in the Ukraine. That's utter horse shit. I never fuckin said that. I said only men got sent to the front lines to fight and die. You talked about a violation of body autonomy (true) and how the evil men don't care …
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/24 08:38 PM

Men are getting drafted to fight and die in countries like Ukraine while women are allowed to leave. We have become desensitized to men dying brutally. Women don't care, girls especially don't care. But sure. Men evil women good. Whatever.

I don't hate feminism as a whole, I think it's a movement that has greatly helped women's rights and remains necessary so that women don't lose those rights. I hate the section of feminism that overlaps with misandry. And I find the feminists that dismiss advocacy for men as redundant and unnecessary since "feminism already does that" as dishonest and disingenuous. Feminism has it's place. Regulating what is valid and not valid advocacy for men is not it.

I think we need to treat what I believe is the root cause for many men's over fixation with sex: The societal push for men to be sexually successful and it's disdain when they are not. Unlike what you may think, not only men but also women look down on men who struggle to get laid. They see them as losers, weirdos, even creeps. As if they are not "normal" and "there's something wrong with them". Because to society, a man must both desire sex and get it in great quantities in order to be a real m…

The /s remains sadly necessary on Reddit it would seem. I'm mocking the talking point, not defending it. It's the most common defense of double standards regarding spewing hate for men and for women, that people in the askfeminists sub use. According to them for example, women hating and wishing bad things on men on social media is "punching up" and men doing the same to women is dangerous misogyny. All because of the oppressor oppressed dynamic.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 09:08 PM

But men are the oppressor class and women are the oppressed so we can't apply the same logic. Or something like that I dunno.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 08:53 PM

I want to believe most of them are just engaging in bad taste sarcasm in some attempt to say "you see!? This is what happens to women all the time!" rather than genuinely thinking this shit is remotely funny. I'd still find it obnoxious and inappropriate but at least it wouldn't make me lose faith in humanity.

I think there was some legitimate concern and good intentions there considering the owner did try to step up in defense of the battered man (when many people would have just ignored it, let's be honest), but the good will got limited by business mentality: Bars need to prioritize attracting women so that men will follow.

I agree with all of this. In regards to your point about feminists hating not only the Red Pill (which to some extent I understand) but also this sub, I think it's pretty telling that, while they always point out the menslib sub as the "proper" way of talking about men's issues... They also seem to hate them too, or at least very heavily criticize them. Menslib's premise is basically "men's problems are our own fault, we must be better for the sake of men and specially for the sake of women". Th…

The gender based double standards go both ways though. A guy being controlling and possessive of his girlfriend, who even escalates to physical threats sometimes? A creepy, narcissistic and sociopathic abuser who should get beat up and whom that woman needs to dump urgently. Same thing with genders reversed? Women are generally extremely nice, supportive, caring, and friendly with other women. I get that it was five years ago but damn, we are still super underdeveloped in understanding and condemning female on male rape or SA. When people think of rape, they instinctively think of a man doing it to a woman. A man doing it to another man, a woman to another woman, or a woman to a man? People acknowledge from a logical and theory place that it can happen, but they don't feel nearly as repulsed and angry as with the "default" form of rape.

In recent decades there has been an effort to "destigmatize" single women. There should also be one for men IMO. Boys could use being told growing up that they don't need to "get a girl" to be real men. Before the I'm Kenough phrase, I never saw anything resembling that message aimed at us.

In one particular example women were blaming the patriarchy for women reacting in a toxic manner to their male SO's when the guy opens up. That's not patriarchy, that's toxic femininity. That is if they even acknowledge the behavior as a bad thing lmao. It's also possible that they decide to take the woman's side and assume that the guy must have been trauma dumping her, or forcing her into emotional labor or something.

I don't know if their "attractiveness" fades with age any more than men's attractiveness does. Both women and men can keep themselves attractive if they put the effort. What is true is that women have a way shorter period in life to have babies. If I'm not wrong most women's limit is at their forties whereas men can have kids from puberty until death more or less (a while ago I read about De Niro having a child at 70 or 80 years old IIRC).

The bizarre and funny thing is, people in the ask feminists sub both recommend it when wanting to push away from their space the "talk about men", and also they occasionally criticize it as "misogynistic". Like... No amount of self censorship, catering to feminism, and eggshell walking is ever going to make those feminists content with a male advocacy sub. They are unlikely to admit it openly, but they seem to resent the very concept of male advocacy.

Menslib used to be a neat place to discuss male issues without judgement, but in recent years it has become something of a "controlled opposition" kind of sub for feminists. In fact, the people at the ask feminists sub always recommend it, and bizarrely, sometimes they do complain about the misogyny of that place despite the heavy levels of self censorship on any criticism to feminism. It's feminist approved male advocacy, which unsurprisingly, is very limited, superficial, centered on "being be…

These kinds of women have a very narrow and romanticized idea of "men showing feelings". The feelings they want to see are the ones that serve them, the women. Things like guys being more demonstrative of his love, or crying for her, or being dedicated to provide for her, that kind of thing. They couldn't care any less about feelings that don't make them feel good about themselves. No no, that's just "baggage" "trauma dumping" and "emotional labor".

Or you can see women also getting mad when the argument is made against them. I checked it and it's both worse and better than I thought. Worse because the women mocking or dismissing the guy are apparently doing so in the possible context of a guy referencing a sexual assault on himself. Better because most people on the Twitter thread are calling those women out, even people that otherwise agree with the man vs bear usage.

And feminists then have the gal to state that the only valid way to address abuse of men is through a feminist lens due to "patriarchy". I'm not a fan of it, but not because I think it means "all masculinity is toxic". I don't think that's what people mean with that phrase, more often than not. I only jumped in to argue about how in the same comment you questioned judging women for their choices when there's a society pushing them to make them (that's fine) but then you dismissed the point of men getting hurt and dying more often in their jobs as "well they choose that, men just like taking risks". It's far from the worst thing those assholes have said. A few years ago, the women of The View mocked and laughed at the news of a man getting castrated by his wife after he asked her for a divorce, and then started theorizing about in which circumstances they would be capable of castrating their husbands, all while giggling. Not saying that all, or even most, feminists hate men, but like other people have said, a person can despise a group without acknowledging that they despise them. In general, I've noticed that feminists don't outright hate men, but instead they have a vision of them closer to this: "I don't hate men, I have men in my life that I love. I can't blame, however, any woman that does hate them, since she probably has good reasons."

I'm a bit curious about the example you gave, since it involves being emotional about another person and in the service/for the sake of another person, in a way. Some women (not all, and not necessarily you) openly demand men to "show emotion" and "be vulnerable" with them... But only a certain kind of emotion. Because I believe that's the main desire of victims of abuse, behind the occasional and nonetheless justified rage and hatred: Not necessarily for the abuser to suffer and die, but merely to never see them again and for them to not hurt anyone else. And kudos to that lady calli…

Someone who sees single or divorced men as paedophiles would be seen as mentally ill. I would hope so. It is hard to adopt children as only one person, there'd be a reason for that. Yeah it's preferable for a child to have two parents or more raising them. I can agree with that.

Middle aged single women aren't seen as potential pedos by some people like it happens with middle aged single men. Crazy cat ladies at the very worst. Don't believe me? Check how hard it is for single men to adopt children. I think you'll realize why without even investigating.

I agree with this. In my country Argentina we legally define rape as "sexual abuse with carnal access" and it includes introducing objects or body parts through the vagina, anus or mouth. Sadly, I don't know if it truly considers made to penetrate as an example of this crime or not. A few years ago, a 37 year old woman groomed a 14 year boy to have sex and when he resisted, she outright forced him to fuck her. She was charged with sexual abuse with carnal access and initially was given a penalty…

This part is largely true though. People parrot that statistic about guys not getting custody nearly as much but don't understand how much of it is due to so many men literally not trying to get any custody. Maybe the phenomenon is overblown, but I can't see it being completely fabricated. I've heard many stories of violent, substance abusing, and alienating mothers being given custody of the children by partial judges while the father struggles to see them. Privilege is a very loaded word, we associate it with luxury, comfort, elite, even when the person saying it doesn't necessarily mean those things. Other areas of society will praise them for being virgins. Such as? Most won't care. Most people won't outwardly be hostile true, but they will look down on a man once they realize his low body count. One of the things women claim to like the most about men is them being experienced.

I think some men see women receiving more open affection in general than they do from their peers, plus they've grow up exposed to rom coms (or action movies that involve a damsel in distress) in which the man goes to almost superhuman lengths to protect, rescue, charm and/or make the woman happy. My love, at no point in this convo did I suggest that men deserve to get raped. Oh I know. I just pointed out the possible next logical step for your reasoning. You started out with the insightful, wise and not womansplaining-at-all statement of "men do always want sex, it's a prejudice that is true" which not only paints men as sex crazed beasts, but it also implies that they can't get raped because rape, by definition, is sex without consent. Then when I called you out on that, you backpedaled…

Then you say that "oF coUrSe" it happens and "iTs abHoRrEnt" when it does (I'm suuuure you believe those words) but it's unlikely. Sounds a bit narcissist prayer-ish to me. "Men don't get raped. /r/PurplePillDebate21/12/23 02:42 AM

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, it's undeniable that women and girls get subjected to far more creepy crap growing up than men and boys. But on the other, men and boys are conditioned into finding any female attention as something good, a consequence of which is way less complaining and reporting from males. And this "men always want sex" prejudices are things that can be imposed by women too, including mothers.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/23 02:40 AM

Okay, I completely disagree but let's leave it here.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/23 12:30 AM

While I can't deny that women suffer from male creeps much more, I think that the difference wouldn't be so vast if men weren't conditioned to basically enjoy any female attention no matter which kind. This also works for more extreme and criminal situations: women raped by men are more frequent than the other way around, but the difference wouldn't be so big if men reported as much as women do. In other words, yes, there are more male creeps and rapists than female ones. But I don't think it's …
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 11:34 PM

I'm only questioning that you so confidently state that older women creeping on young men "is super rare" since that's only one step away from saying "it never happens". It's invalidating towards men who actually had women creeps drooling over them or going even further. Do you really think that 99.9999% of middle aged women wouldn't even think of expressing how hot a muscular late teens male teenager looks like? All I'm saying is that we shouldn't treat female creeps as an anomaly while treatin…

Did I touch a nerve with you or something? Both your reply here and in the post seem rather pissed off. I just wanted a civil discussion about men and women's respective flaws and plights, but you seem determined in turning it into a "MEN EVIL STUPID EVIL STUPID!"

I have no doubt some married women don't feel fulfilled in their marriages. What I feel skeptical about is that most married women feel like that. And I'm sure that there are also men that don't feel neither emotionally nor sexually satisfied in their marriages either.

Your answer basically consisted on bashing men for being crybabies whose emotional expressions are stupid. There's not much to comprehend. But I can reply in kind if you wish. Many women simply can't stand nor respect men who share any sort of feeling with them that isn't just how much the guy loves and is devoted to the woman. When they demand that men "open up" they only mean about things that make the woman feel good about herself, it's not about the men themselves.

There would be many less humans today. That's all I can say for certain. As for whether a lower libido would make humanity more efficient or advanced I'm not sure.

You were talking about how men aren't secretly benevolent, how men don't deserve the benefit of the doubt, about how men are greedy. You seemed to imply that those flaws are a male thing rather than a human one. If that wasn't the case, then I have no arguments against you. Edit: I guess that what triggered me was the possibility of this being a gender essentialism kind of statement from your part. I'm already kinda sick of the woman good men bad prejudices and stereotyping.

Men aren't stupid and do not play when it comes to their money. And women are different?

One of my favourite women content creators in YouTube. I love her acid humor and lack of fear of haters. Also, with her video about male loneliness epidemic and it's reactions, I felt both happy and disturbed. On one hand, many men came together to talk about their often overlooked problems, same as women about the men in their lives. On the other hand however, Shoe exposed just how unhinged and nauseous some people are in their attempt to deny men's problems. Specially on Twitter.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
