That's the saddest thing I've read. I hope you find happiness one day.

Exactly. Some men don't even try. I was one of them. Now I try and actually get to have some fun sometimes.

You are basically rewarding him for his bad behaviour

I didn't see your reply until now. Anyway. So you don't accept the concept of a social hierarchy? Nah I think it's bullshit. Like I said, most people suck. Even though society thinks some people are better than me because of money, looks or whatever I just don't agree. Those are not the values I was raised to value. Even then i still crave it no matter how much i tired to tell myself i don't need it especially when i am in my 20s and never been on a date before. Have you asked any girl out? Or m…

Believe me, I do. I haven't had much experience either, and the ones I had were bad/traumatizing. Yet, I try not to obsess with it. When I was a teenager, I used to feel inferior to others because of my shyness and lack of experience with women. I tried to point flaws in my looks or character to justify my loneliness. However, as I became older, I realized the only opinion that matters is mine. I know it sounds cliche, but hear me out: most people suck (including women), why would I want to impr…

No. Why are you so obsessed with dating?

It’s not nice guys that finish last per se, it’s often bad guys masquerading as nice guys that finish first. Exactly. I’m sorry you went through that as well. Seems like you have a good view of relationship dynamics from your comment so hopefully it was a learning experience for you as well Everything is alright now. It was def a learning experience and I hope the next will be better. Thanks for your words.

Now I’m out the other side I realise how manipulative love bombing is, a red flag Tottaly. That's how many bad men get with women, unfortunately. I hope everything turned alright for you in the end. Hopefully you found someone worth dating or is at least happy enough by yourself. Stories like yours unfortunately are not uncommon. It sucks because some genuinely good men (and I suppose this happens with women too) don't have the confidence to ask their crush out and some garbage men get them inst…

Once I met a super hot girl that had a boyfriend who was broke, ugly af, bad shape and treated her like garbage. She dated him for 3 years until he broke things up with her. This really gets me thinking "well, I'm not rich, super hot or athletic, but I'm still a decent human being who take care of myself and thus, if this guy had a chance, I too have a chance at the dating game"

That's what I'm trying to do too. I really wish I spent all the time I lamented not being good enough (by what I thought was women's standards) actually working on myself and my career. But it's better to start now than never. I'm still gathering courage to shoot my shot with the girls I'm interested, but I've made some good progress so far.

The thing is, some men don't feel they are good enough to date someone and project this on women. Like, c'mon guys. Some women settle for the shittiest guys on earth. If you don't feel good about yourself address your issues.

Personally I don't think any girl is out of my league. I'm well educated, look after myself and treat others with respect, like any other decent human being would. Sure, there are girls that wouldn't date me, but there are girls I wouldn't date either. There are some gorgeous women who I wouldn't date because there is no match in personality, and there are some not so conventionally beautiful women who I would date because I like them. I imagine it's the same for women. If you treat yourself and…

Accutane really rocks. Maybe laser and chemical won't be necessary, I thought I would have to do it but my skin is good enough now. If you don't like lifting, then don't lift. It is important to stay active, just find a sport that suits you. If you insist on lifting, make sure you are doing it for you and not based on what other people will think of your body. I'm so sorry you are not able to get treatment for anxiety in your country (I assume it's the US?). I hope there is something you can do …

I thinks this makes it easier to approach women if you want to. She would be more open to hear you. But it's mainly the first contact. I haven't tested it yet, though

Sorry buddy didn't mean to be aggressive. It's ok not to feel good about yourself, but you can just work to change things. I'm 168cm (maybe 5'7 in imperial, not sure) and weighted 52kg when I got my first gf. We talked a lot and we began to like each other and we decided to start a relationship. It was just like that. I understand not feeling good enough to be dated. It actually harmed my relationship, because I continued to feel insecure even though I had a girlfriend who liked me (if she didn'…

If you read again carefully, I said that I was dating when I was not in shape. I also got my female coworkers attention just by being a good person to talk to. I was not muscular, tall or rich. Regarding my face, I actually had a lot of acne when I started dating. Stop with this bullshit excuses.

Perspective as a man: I used to be super skinny and I'm short. I got into the gym and I'm now in shape (not as good as I wanted to be, but generally fit and more muscular). I definitely get the feeling that women find me more attractive now, since I have noticed women looking at me with a flirtatious gaze quite more often. But I think having a muscular body and being physically more attractive (based on society's beauty standards) just facilitates the process. I'm introverted, and I don't really…

If your life is based on trying to get laid with people you don't know or care just because you have a inferiority complex, I pity you.

I'm 168cm and I have been with taller girls. There is a tall girl in my gym who I know for sure finds me good looking. I'm still gathering courage to shoot my shot tho

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
