You don't need an attorney to ask that child support be changed. Thank you. I hear people complain about it to me all the time in court. Its really easy - like a couple of forms. Here is a walkthrough.

I guess, I need more context. Where in US are you? I am in CA and I know several divorced dads that have joint custody - one of them has full custody.

why joint physical custody isn't the norm in custody cases I do not know. But that is what I asked for and that is what I got. There are a ton of fathers who have joint physical custody as well. I suspect, a lot of dads simply don't ask for it, but just go for the weekend visitation. Maybe there is a bias, maybe there isn't. But like I said, I am in court at least once a month - and I have yet to see it.

already biased system I disagree. I am in the court room at least once a month and I have yet to see bias. What I do see is bias against people who are assholes, ask for unreasonable things, lie on the stand, have lives that completely fell apart or have trouble following court orders.

First off, you don't need a lawyer. Family law is simple enough that you can essentially do everything on your own. So here is what you have to do: I am assuming that you have court order that outlines visitation, correct? If no, then go to court and ask the judge to anoint what is already happening in practice (e.g. you see the kids on the weekends @ grandmas). Make sure you have proof.
