I'm not going to argue the healthy relationship part, it's way too subjective and way too nuanced. I don't think a majority of men are searching for a megan fox look alike. Will they accept it, of course, but men have realistic standards. I can't argue the point because I don't speak to women about their relationships, but I would wager a majority of women don't think they were settled for even if they were.

There is no bar for sex. The bar is still super low for relationships because of the current quality of available women.

Yes, by strict standards, men are hypergamous, but that doesn't tell the whole truth. They're hypergamous due to the current state of the average woman. I think a lot of men would be fine with their equal, but it's not out there or it's the top 20%. Women would/are not happy with their equal.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/24 10:22 PM

Your point implies men only settle because they can't get quality women when there really aren't many. Yes, the top 20% is the top 20%, whether it's 2 women or 20,000, but your whole point really isn't the gotcha you think it is.

Yes, but men only settle because the quality isn't there.

This is not an introvert only nonsense. Im recently out of a divorce and have had to get back in the dating market. Trying to find a single, thin, and childless woman is almost impossible to find between the ages of 25-30. Those are incredibly basic standards, and most women can't meet them.

I completely understand your post and agree with part of it. I know this was meant to start a conversation about the way women feel in spaces alone with men, but where is that conversation supposed to lead? What do you expect the average married/taken/single man to do about the issue? I've never met a man that admitted or encourage assault on women. If I see something, I will say or do something but no one has the responsibility of protecting someone. So what is the whole goal of the conversatio…

This has always been one of the points of contention I have with RP philosophy. It's a catch 22. If a woman puts out early, she is low value (I agree with that point), but she is also low value because she doesn't put out early for YOU. It's a completely stupid premise. My wife does not have a high body count. When we seriously started talking, we decided we wanted to wait until marriage to have sex. That was completely fine with me. I don't understand why RP guys expect women to be respectable …

I wear a wedding band because I'm married. I see a real difference in how women treat me. They approach me (in a friendly way) way more often and joke around a lot. Before I would say I'm pretty average looking and pretty socially skilled but women still seemed to keep me at arms length. Now that I'm married (or they see my ring) they are way more friendly and outgoing. Will call, text, or talk to me about whatever whenever.

I’ve been trying for 3 years, I’ve had to accept it’s just not going to happen for me. Irrelevant and unimportant. It is though, your dating life has a direct effect on how you view the dating world. I understand you want men to find other outlets to consume their effort, but that's not happening. I tried to explain it in something you can understand, but you just don't because you have never lived the life of a male.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 07:02 AM

I understand your point, but the two are incomparable. To start off, if that's you in your pfp, you will have no problem picking up an average man. So I wouldn't say the dating world for you is hopeless. Unlucky at worst. You know deep down you could have a companion (even if he doesn't check ALL your boxes) anytime you want. Most men don't have that back up person or peice of mind. Therefore, they feel pressured to find a spouse/companion asap. Men crave companionship and physical attention. It…

/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 05:13 PM

The female cope in the comments, "yeah I would chose B but but but...." then say "oh well most men would pick choice B too" that's completely wrong. I'm a materialistic person, and I would choose A every day of the week.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 10:09 AM

You definitely staked one side better than the other, intentionally or not. Why does the less attractive person have to work hard to get their money while the attractive person doesn't have to do anything to keep their looks? You also specified that the attractive guy has no anger, negativity, or issues in his life? That would imply the wealthy one does. Due to this being PP I would say you worded your post this way to get the outcome you wanted.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/23 03:14 PM

Wtf no lol. I only notice obviously mismatched couples. You took one word from my comment and ran a mile with it, settle down. Not every guy in here is an incel that hates women and thinks they deserve the worst in life.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 01:34 PM

I almost never see mismatched couples. But I do wonder what the deal is if it is skewed one way or the other. I usually ask my wife if she thinks they are mismatched. If she disagrees, I just move on, but if she agrees, I ask what she thinks one did to get the other.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 01:26 PM

Hey no one said the dating world was fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 01:15 PM

All the female whores I knew either never settled down or never married a HV man. Their reputation proceeded them and they couldn't find a high-quality man to deal with their past but it may be what they were going to end up with anyways, very few whores I knew were above a 5. Any other time, I believe a female that's a 5 can get a little higher quality man than she deserves.

I'm neither RP nor incel but I agree that personality makes a difference in the long run. You can have an amazing personality, but if you don't have a basic attraction level, you're not getting in the top 1% of hookups. That was my argument, you probably would be able to find a gf, albeit difficult, but you could find one.

I 100% disagree. I've seen so many relationships go down the toilet because they didn't share similar interests. One of the main ways of strengthening a relationship is quality time, and shared interests make it incredibly easy. Sharing values and goals is the most important, followed by shared interests. A lot of people are selfish and won't even give their partners interests a chance, and when they do, they don't enjoy them. So, it breeds unhappiness and resentment in MOST relationships.

The problem comes into play when most women WANT all those qualities but don't even have 1/3 of positive female traits to request such a mate. Therefore you have thousands of guys that have one or two of those high value traits but the low value women think they deserve more. There is no shortage of low value women, there is actually a large surplus.

But there are far more men that "just exist" (and women) than there are extraordinary men. The problem comes up when women that "just exist" want an extraordinary man instead of a man that "just exists". Extraordinary high value women have no problem finding an extraordinary high value man.

You're getting bad boy mixed up with dangerous. Women want a dangerous man because they have the capacity to commit violence in defense of their girlfriend/wife, but they don't want that violence committed on them. There's a balance. When she meets a guy who is obviously passive or soft, women don't believe they have the capacity to protect themselves or a woman. You can set aside the red pill stuff, I really don't care. I'm trying to have a genuine discussion about how men are supposed to navigate the current dating market in regards to women using them for a temporary financial crutch or just taking advantage of them. So men should go up and ask a woman in the first conversation, "Are you using me for money or are you interested in a serio…

Yes, because they can't face their lack of accountability and hypocrisy. Women don't like being called out on their shit or being the butt of the joke. I'm sure there are some terrible things said on there but to attribute it to all men on those forums is literally proving their point.

I can tell you prior to getting married, I had friends who were girls. They always seemed to keep me at an arms length, like we were never truly friends, but after I got married, women would actively come up and talk to me. They try to build a friendship mainly by playful banter. You are looking at it from a man's perspective. Women do initiate in their own way. Now I don't agree with it, but they have their own way. You're oblivious to it just as much as she is oblivious of how terrible it is. For example, a woman picks up a box and says "wow this box is super heavy, I can barely lift it" You look over and she doesn't appear to be struggling or in distress so you don't offer your help. /r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 06:15 AM

It's a moot point really. If the intimacy I want with my wife/gf/whatever is sex than that's what it is. Just because a woman gets her intimacy through cuddling or quality time does not mean her way is superior. It doesn't discount the way their significant other feels.

I agree with you OP, but I don't think there is any actual way to measure it, which is par for the course on this sub because relationships aren't a science. You also look at the dating sphere as a market. The problem with the market and why women can date up is women generally are more attractive, I think they can handle being alone easier than a man, and they can artificially inflate their market value a lot easier than a man can.

I don't hate women with high body counts, it's their business but to pretend men and women have the same standards on body count is ridiculous. Yes it's different when it's a woman there is no actual penetration with a penis.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/22 02:33 PM
2

I do agree with your final statement about fairness but I disagree with your point regarding body counts. A woman's body count is a measure of self control. Almost any woman can get laid in less than a day most less than 30 minutes. It takes no effort to get laid on a woman's part. But a man cannot get laid whenever he wants especially not within 30 minutes. A man has to have personality, charm, good looks to get laid. All a woman has to do is open her legs.

I use to have this thought process regarding this subject. I didn't care if it was some 18yo and 30yo. Until I was 27 and actually met and had a conversation with an 18yo. They are incredibly young and unwise. They aren't stupid just naive. She was attractive but if I slept with her it would be like sleeping with a child, it felt very wrong. Another point I wouldn't recommend large age gaps. I'm currently 28 my wife is 24. Just 4 years difference in our age and I can tell the difference on occas…

They are using sex to improve their odds of being proposed to and married. They stop because they already have the man and don't understand how a man's brain is wired. I would say a majority of the men I speak to though hasn't had that experience.

There has always been a big back and forth about this but I think a lot of people miss the point. One thing I've seen A LOT of women consistently want is protection. Agreeable/sensitive almost always equals passive or not protective. That is why a lot of sensitive men get friendzoned. Also in my opinion someone can still not be agreeable AND sympathetic. The two are not exclusionary of the other.

I disagree because I'm a bit of a hypocrite when it comes to body counts for men vs women. It comes down to self control and social status. No matter what a woman's status is she can get dick whenever she wants, so if she chose to be a slut it's a character flaw in the sense of lack of self control. A majority of men cannot get pussy on a regular basis much less whether they want. They have to have something going for them, they have to get a head using some self control (discipline working out …

Woman don't want to change a think about current dating. They get the best of both worlds an easy life with every right and privilege they could ever want. They know there are still acceptable men out there so they aren't too worried about finding a mate. I don't see it that way. Because the thing is, I think that simply talking baout dating and relationships as a matter of demand for commodities is the first mistake that RPers make. And they make it from their perspective of their desire for women. Reality doesn't care how you see it. That's what makes it reality. Men look at dating that way because that's how men view the world in more quantitative way than women. Therefore they try to use something statically wise to prove a point. Suffice to …

Right, the issue is that I don't see women on a pedestal, I see them around the same place as men. So fundamentally it's not about removing them from a pedestal, but putting them back down in the second class. Where do you get that? Therefore woman are treated far better than men when it comes to relationships. Lmao we do not live in the same cu…

I think RPers want the culture norms of putting woman on a pedestal to stop. This culture tells woman that their mate should accept them no matter their choices or abilities. They tell every girl they are special and deserve Prince charming even when she is trashy tubby Tammy. That is bad for both sexs but arguably worst for men who do not fair well being alone. Woman can die alone and be happy but they would be happier with a mate.

Yes but I promise you if an attractive female that has desirable characteristics approaches a man (even if they aren't actively looking), he will make an attempt at a LTR. There will be men that sex is the only thing he wants from them but don't make it sound like that's the majority.

If an average looking woman approaches an average looking man and they have a descent conversation, I would bet the man takes her number 80% of the time. I think the difference isn't relationship, it's more about sex. Their argument is 90% of women can get laid with little to no effort. Now that isn't the same for a relationship, probably 60% of women can get a relationship with little to no effort. About 20% of men can get sex with little to no effort and 50% could get a relationship with little effort. This place is bad about blurring the lines with relationship vs sex.

I think a lot of people are missing OPs (poorly) explained point. He is saying that before you lose your virginity, your main focus as a male is losing your virginity. A HV male is not born, but there are genes that help. Much like other say a HV man is somewhat subjective and based on the woman that makes the call.
