Thanks for your reply. I've heard about them but not seen them in action.

Best to work it on booking, then check-in, then boarding, then before take-off, then mid-flight. Disruption, cost, delays would be minimized in this way. I've never used a website that asks your weight, but had a couple of small flights where total weight and distribution was important. They should offer fatties advice and information before they even complete a booking. It would be perhaps less emotional for everyone ('computer says no') and save costs. I expect fatties don't want to pay for tw…

I've heard of them, but not seen one. Is it possible that it just extends your own seat reach like a balloon, or does it need to stretch from the next seat buckle/clip? If you can use one in your own seat aren't you close to automatically too fat so you spill into seatmate's area? Given the expanding fatness in the West I am surprised there aren't 1.2, 1.5x seats that cost a little more. Hell, I'd buy one for myself just for comfort.

Like an extra long seatbelt extension from the other seat? In my youth flights often had free spaces, even 4 seats to sleep on, but these days everything is full. Chance of a free seat is low. I guess they've done something with their planning and sales systems to keep it packed.

It is a bit late to kick them off once they are on the plane. Are they advised in advance of acceptable weight/body shapes? Economy seats are hard enough for the comfort of normal people.

With the cost of excess baggage being about $10/pound a lot of these fatties are getting massive discounts, not to mention the discomfort they may cause to others.

A lot of stupidity here - 'hide and seek' involves you not knowing where people are, videoing it, granting permission for phone search (sounds like she didn't have a lawyer present), and of course the stupidity of killing someone.

Unless you are actually starving you should have more self-respect than to whore yourself out / sell your company for food. Get a crappy office job, work for one to two hours and you can afford three good meals. Living for novel, rare and tasty food is a low level of life goal, but you could at least call yourself a foodie/gourmand and take some pride in your knowledge, especially if you do the cooking. Whoring for basic food is pathetic. Perhaps they don't see a difference in the two alternativ…

It took me about two minutes to read a page of S.A. travel and safety tips. Is this asking too much of them? I thought S.A. was widely seen as an oppressive and potentially dangerous place. Whether this is actually true or not, I'd still be reading up. Almost every aspect of flying is boring, and if I haven't bothered to do all my research then this is a good time to read a guide book, or more recently web pages synced to phone. Lying to win a prize is one thing, part of the game perhaps. In my mind worse was Janet, the old woman who was so eager to believe any lie a young woman told her that she went to war to destroy an innocent man and his reputation and career in the real world. She was not punished for this, nor the pussy Jamal who had a long speech straight from the SJW playbook. Nobody stood up for due process, despite the whole thing being recorded 100% of the time with a bunch of camera crew. If it was all stag…

Watched the double episode. The contestants and producers were completely behind the demonization of this guy. The guys were as bad as the women, the accused was as bad as the women. It was an apology to anyone who might have had had their 'own truth', despite being caught lying about it. The 'perpetrator' said many times after it was revealed as a lie, 'can we put this behind us'. The producer/host kept saying 'no we can never do that'. It was a very odd inquisition, a prosecution once the fact…

Throw in the fact that now you only have 1.8 children instead of 5 and you've freed up 5 years of effort. Good point about clothes cleaning. I remember we had an automated wringer to squeeze water out of washed clothes, where you fed them through by hand. I guess there was no spin cycle in those days. In earlier days I guess it would take at least an hour or two a day to wash a family's clothes fully by hand. If you throw in a dishwasher, microwave, Roomba, you are saving a lot of time. If you a…

The staff work off a script, including the manager (perhaps some limited autonomy), so nothing will come of this. Even if they named the toys (1) and (2) or (A) and (B) you would be accused of ranking the underlying genders. Maybe there should only be one toy, perhaps a hermaphrodite doll in a dress with a handgun.

I agree. Knew a crack/methadone/? user of 40 years old or so, who had a hot 25 year old gf. He was in good shape, easy to talk to, charming perhaps. They both had average jobs, his maybe 50% more than her, so there was no significant monetary aspect. He had an ex-wife and young child, which I would have thought put the new girl off, but didn't. Perhaps a crack built guy fucks well. I don't know.

Watching episode 4. The most useless women are pushing communism, wanting to share the cash that others found. The effective men considered breaking off and should have done so. Operating the yacht may be theoretically carbon neutral, but in the case of Greta's trip there are estimates of 5 flights to bring in a crew to sail it back, and Greta will be flying home. Should have all been done by Skype. Reducing flights is a good idea.

Yes, it was free. A racing prince from Monaco loaned it to her. https://www.thecut.com/2019/08/pierre-casiraghi-the-prince-sailing-with-greta-thunberg.html I'm just trying to put a price on this compared to the maybe $2500 round trip total for Greta and dad by plane. The yacht cost $4m. Not sure why you put "racing" in quotes. The owner is an enthusiastic 'in shore' millionaire yacht racer, i.e. one who sails around the coast, 8th in line to the throne of Monaco. Here's a puff piece on the prince, where it describes the yacht as a 'racing yacht'. https://www.thecut.com/2019/08/pierre-casiraghi-the-prince-sailing-with-greta-thunberg.html A 747 costs about $300m. Goldstein noted in submissions at the dangerous offender hearing that the issue before the courts is an offensive concept: prospective detention. “Detention based not on crimes committed, but on the likelihood of future crimes,” Goldstien wrote. Prison is to punish, reform, and prevent further crimes. She needs permanent detention to prevent further crimes.

I foresee a time when DNA matches will be made against available records. First criminal suspects who have their DNA taken as a matter of course (high chance of a match), then 23andme and similar companies, then eventually everyone will be on record (samples taken at birth). I've heard of fixing disposables by stroking them on jeans or other methods to resharpen them - wonder why it's not on the package! I think the benefits of quality face shaving cream could apply to the overall head but can't make a claim for that. I also use an Itlalian 'prorazo' (optionally, on Amazon) pre and after-shave thick cream that is a pea-sized amount you rub thinly all over (more if not just face) to provide a sort of closing / cut healing / masculine smell.

Disposables are perhaps 50% faster to use to get an acceptable result for half a day. For a millionaire perhaps the time is worth it. Spray some canned cream on your face, use $2-5/week multi- blades, end up with an irritated or growing beard. There is an up-front cost of maybe $50 to start saving $2-5 a week. By far the closest shave ever, especially if with a new blade. Forget those 4-5 blade rip-offs.

Why are they visible at all? They should be packing items onto a structured tray (e.g. cup area to prevent spillage), loading trays onto a conveyor belt. Have a grid of customer-facing delivery slots that get populated from the conveyor belt. Scan your receipt, door opens, take your tray, close the door. Maybe video the insides of each slot to prove the correct contents were on the tray. Can still have a face to face area for customer support etc. With a little more automation the tray packing c…
