Good Samaritan laws will generally give legal coverage to bystanders that initiate CPR (check your particular state/jurisdiction for what your laws actually say), and medical control, standing orders, and a duty to act cover me. Why not? If you have your mower out already, just take a couple minutes and hit his front lawn, too, if he's cool with it. I basically agree with you, but what's the time frame on getting out once consent is withdrawn? i mean, 5 seconds after the request/demand? I could see that being a reasonable amount of time if they were going at it hard and the guy had to process that she had changed her mind and was saying "no" now instead of "yes!"

that really bothered me in that study. the only way to get better at pull ups is to do them. or, if one can't be achieved, assisted pull ups and negatives (starting from the top and lowering down) are what got me there in the beginning. lat pull-downs are nice, but something about the way the body hangs requires your muscles to work differently.

That's not the point. School is not actually a job. My parents phrased it that way with me, and it didn't hurt me in any way, but there is a forced socialization aspect to it that is different from work. Yeah, until they grow up. Last couple of times I walked into a big gym (planet fitness), nobody gave a shit what anybody else was doing, they were all just trying to do their own shit and didn't hardly talk to anybody else. Didn't see any overweight dudes self conscious of working out in front of the swath of cardio machines with women on them, and didn't see any chicks getting hit on constantly by the curl bros. Yes. And from a strength standpoint, most women just can not pick up a full grown man and drag/carry him out of a building. With dedication and training, some will get it eventually, but I, a 5'7", fat, nerdy teeneager at the time, could pick up a "male" (165 lb) dummy and drag/carry it when I was in the Boy Scouts. A decade later now, and about two years of physical training, and I can crush those dummies.
