| 1 | She knows.Thank you for this. We're back in our city of residence where the divorce was filed. We should be safe now. She will hold one child's passport and me the other so both of us can rest assured the other won't flee. No way will she split the twins up. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/07/26 03:56 AM |
| 1 | She knows.Thank you. This is valuable information. I also live in China, but in another city on the opposite end of the country and we're now all Canadian citizens. The divorce has been filed here, in the city that in which I live, which actually allows us quite a bit of protection. Now that the divorce is filed and accepted by the local court trying to flee with them to another part of China without my permission would be viewed as a detrimental disruption to their status quo and frowned upon by the cour… | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/07/26 03:53 AM |

The courts do favor mothers, but they look for "child's best interest" and maintaining continuity and status quo. All of their schooling, housing, funding, daily routine, their very status … | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/06/26 04:13 PM |
| 1 | Just filed after 15 years... and 5 years after posting on r/SurvivingInfidelityDamn. Sorry that happened to you, man. The thing is, she's a distant, passive, but generally pleasant mother at most times. Nobody is all good or all bad, but I just can't deal with all the bad anymore. Can't deal with being, essentially, a slave. Another wrinkle is that she and my children are all here as dependents on my work visa. She will need to get a job to stay in the country. She can get a family visa through her mom, hwo is still a citizen of this country, but can't work legally on it. … | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/06/26 02:09 PM |
