That it is because, with the number of reports, it is overwhelmingly women who are abused raped and murdered. It doesn't mean it never happens in the reverse, but we can only work with the numbers that we have. Not to mention, the reason it is so under reported is because men feel emasculated doing the reporting. This is not cause by feminism, it is caused by a society that sets impossible metrics for men to meet, one of which is 'be a man' to mean don't be a wimp, which is wrong in so many ways…

This post made me laugh. A lot. Women are known to do better when dealing with ambiguity, something a person MUST be able to do to achieve a higher rank in ones job. Most of the statistics say that, but I personally believe men's rape is under reported by a LOT. Still, I can see why they would assume that. In a rape situation between men and women, men are generally stronger, so I think the idea is they could stop it, although I am not sure I agree with that. I think a lot of these ideas are passed down from a time when women couldn't work (or vote, or own property) and people continue to do it. Once things get settled I'd imagine more men will be stay at home dads and husbands. At least, I would hope so.

Yes, it should. What that man should have done is politely informed her what was happening. Also, women don't go out with the expectation of people seeing up their skirts.
