I see it as an extension of the nanny state, but depends on where you live. The numbers will change based on demographics, but for some reason I still expect most of the kids there are in the situation where their parents are the "we've tried everything and we're all out of ideas" kind.

A large portion of MGTOW have been married, like as in to women. Surely there needs to be some functioning around a women to convince one to marry you, right? We are choosing, for the most part, our function regardless of the presence of pussy or not. well saving for retirement would be a parallel, but the whole point is to have a neutral way of talking about the two very valid ways of living. I agree, too much labeling isn't helpful, but so often I see people struggling between the choices or going with or against the flow. We've got self righteous proselytizers on both sides of the issue, saying to burn it all, or reform. All I aim for is acceptance.

The arguments between those who want to completely unplug from society and those who argue to stay within and repair it drove me to try and understand the two. Its not quite night and day, and people aren't one or the other, but they appear to be the opposing sides to the same coin. Perhaps its more a gradient, and its up to everyone to calibrate their trajectory accordingly.

I didn't like the movie because the movie didn't even try to get me to like the characters. The only reason we were supposed to care about T'chala and his story is cause hes sad his dad died, and he was in capt america.
