have hobbies, be fun to be around, lose the RP red flags and meet people instead of being another dude on OLD who messages 20 different girls a day and spams everyone's inboxes

just have the platforms add this feature lol. Women not into hookup culture don't want 30-40 msgs a day from flaky iffy thirsty guys sending mass copy pasted msgs and dick pics and trying to find 1 genuine actually interested in seriously dating you guy w similar hobbies and interests.

If you want to drink the self defeating kool aid you can go right on ahead. Chances are there's a girl at your attractive level who might like a responsible mature social sweet and funny version of yourself but not the RP red flag toxic fume wafting shithead version. Here in reality why are so many girls I know dating average looking guys at the same approx income range?

haha nope. I was in that sub. I left bc of the mods being transphobic and couldn't stay there bc I stan ContraPoints OLD is trash because of guys being too thirsty, sending dick pics, being shitty or inappropriate, and flooding inboxes... it doesn't represent the dating market. If all guys msged only 1 or 2 girls a day instead of mass dm campaigns, it might get bearable for everyone to use.

Literally just trying and somewhat succeeding at being a healthy financially responsible & empathetic person would be enough for a girl who's equally attractive lmaoo too bad he's a sexist troll

Are the women deluding themselves or are some men purposefully misleading them by pretending to be into a committed relationship? I've seen this with a lot of guys and how proud they are for gaslighting and lying and valuing women for just their physical attributes.. this is why women should vet vet vet if they want to date and not just hook up. Lots of men don't respect women as people and just as free sex and backup plans and are weirdly smug and happy about lying to the person they are dating…

I doubt that. I'm still looking for stats from incels who think society is organizing into "10-20% chads" and their harems en masse. Is this college age hookup culture or something? I'm of the opposite opinion that generally, women have reasonable standards but the majority of men don't make it just on account of immaturity and personality and misogyny. They have the sexism & toxicity of boomers but none of the dependability and responsibility, lots of fuckboi attitudes toward objectifying women…

I don't follow exactly.. choose what? Chad with 6 pack and 6 fig salary in incel terms? Can you actually back this up with some statistics? All my friends are dating regular guys about the same age, who share similar interests, with a similar career path with at most $10-20k salary difference, it seems like the social norm. what kind of ratchet universe do RPers live in where the only people are rich "Chads" sleeping with a harem of financially dependant, insecure young "Stacy's" who don't mind …

The next time you tell someone, "I had a bad day" after they asked how your day went, they should say "how did you have a bad day? Why didn't you do everything you could to have a good day? Why are you complaining to me you fucking crybaby?" then. the real crybabies are the men having angry mantrums that at one specific workplace one woman might have experienced sexism.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/21 03:52 PM

Why did you continue the conversation then? Is it possible for a paycheck to be worth the negatives, like mild sexism, enough to not want to cause upheaval and drama and possibly losing your job? It's funny how some men just know with absolute certainty whether an internet stranger in one specific workplace has experienced sexism or not. They just really, really, really want sexism to not exist and will argue with you and tell you that they know your situation better than you besides them being …

Hilarious strawman about "all men need to end their lives and are worthless"... what? Yeah FDS doesn't believe that, sorry. I know the haters love taking things out of context, screenshotting their own comments but now they're just making shit up at this point. FDS needs to close its doors to men to redditors like you that can't talk about sexism towards women without "what about men???" We know you guys are doing it on purpose to try to divert the issue so nothing actually gets done about issue…

people are so attuned to casual put downs of the female gender you actually notice that shit less. Every male dominated sub treats women like shit, has to quiz each one for her to be a real fan, objectifies women constantly, sexist jokes on the reg, makes it clear that if it wasn't for thirst she's hardly a person to them, gets pissed/emasculated if a woman beat them at something (she's supposed to be worse), shows off to other men by treating women badly. When someone says "ugh, women are shall…

? people make first impressions and guess what kind of person they are and have a conversation first before sharing contact info and asking to get coffee/dinner/meeting up later. Isn't that normal

You're arguing against something I never said. Holistic interest likely includes physical attraction and thirst as well. It doesn't have to be mutually exclusive Don't project your issues on me lol. if you have this level of cynicism it's up to you to decide yourself whether you want a serious relationship where personality and empathy is factored in. I want someone who is physically attractive to me (going by dating history, this tends to be asian dork who smiles a lot, or a girl boss with shor…

Never said "all they care about is sex". But men are more inclined towards casual sex you can look at any survey Gender generalizations are all over reddit esp negative ones about women I have to wade through everyday (redditors love upvoting boys quirky girls lame, women lie about rape, whataboutism whenever sexism is brought up, wonder why). Guys see one or two negative ones about men and freak out

them shitty mothers. What a load of garbage in and of itself - but then they also whine about women being gold diggers. Wow I didn't expect to agree with anyone here... thanks for giving me hope? I want to believe that people seeking serious relationships who are coming from similar walks in life will naturally want a dual income setup that works. If the capitalist overlords are permitting, those people can comfortably live on dual income setups but 6 hour working days to match schools and dayca…

Huh yeah I think I confused hypergamy with hypersexuality. whoops I didn't know there was a word for this hmmmm.. had no idea the MGTOW people were so mad about it. I think up to a point (traditional women thinking can this guy support me if I need to take a break from work to raise the kids) it makes sense. I think women in the workforce is a good thing for hypergamy, right? People marrying people in the same careers and fields sounds like they'll have mutual respect and interests.

saying who will doxx me pretty easy so i really can't say
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 03:47 AM

Ok some of that makes sense but tbh "female hypergamy" doesn't. Guys are kinda jackhammery in this day and age and porn only teaches them how to be shitty at sex, makes getting off so easy that putting work into an intimate relationship is an iffy choice by comparison. On the flip side to relax enough for penetrative sex women need trust and foreplay and a feeling of safety. The chances of a woman getting an orgasm from a hookup is ridiculously low. I'm sure there are some women who enjoy the ca…

Men are more down for and less stigmatized for casual sex, is there a nice PC way of rephrasing this statistically backed information? Idk what mature woman who isn't homeless goes on a most likely uncomfortable/doesn't go anywhere, if unlucky toxic niceguy negging redpiller, date to get a $20 meal paid for? It just doesn't scan for me. Attention from a guy you like is great, but most women feel uncomfortable when it's attention from a guy they don't like. It's awkward at first and if too persis…

You mean once it passes through the TRP incel filter? Women don't know what we want so it has to be rewritten by some guy's method acting of "girls are shallow sluts" stereotype? Are you sure you're not projecting? Yeah women have their own types and personalities they find attractive i.e. (probably asian) nerd, same field as me, slight resemblance to certain esports player, wholesome awkward dorky, mature responsible. That's my "top". And yes apart from that type, I don't swipe on anyone bc I k…

Depends on whether it's a healthy amount, something you can do together, not while you ignore responsibilities somewhere else. And the game i.e. some kind of low res pixelated 2D MMORPG that got the plug pulled recently, easily the unsexiest shit there is

I'm sorry I didn't know I was in a debate. I thought I was in a reddit thread where generalizations are all over the place and people are reaching conclusions and sharing experiences without writing logical proofs. Which format are we using, Lincoln-Douglas or policy?

??? Jesus lay off my gender. The women in my life are good friends, empathetic, loving mothers, loving aunts, high achievers, kind people. Statistically women don't commit anywhere near the amount of crime or violence as men do, more empathetic towards social issues affecting other people and the environment, and the caretakers in the family of children and the elderly. They are more likely to take care of the children during divorce and if not, more likely to pay child support. Also you clearly…

Whether you think it's relevant or not is subjective and I'm really allowed to have and share my experiences and opinions stemming from those experiences. Okay, small sample size? I'll flag it with that if it helps? But that's personal anecdotes for you. My fallacy and dishonesty? Where?

literally gender stereotypes about women is all over reddit and in this very thread if you care to look. I've accepted negative "women are..." generalizations and stereotypes are too pervasive to ever fix so I will stop worrying about sensitive male egos when speaking about men generally. Especially when they're backed up with data that supports men do less housework than women even when both work full time. If you want the #notallmen here it is. When I say "men" and "women" I mean "many men" an…

You clearly have a narrative and you want to push it regardless of what someone else on the internet experienced, lmao. I watched my own ex get asked out by a girl much hotter than he was (and me! tbf!) who organized vacations for the both of them and even paid for all of it herself. I was almost impressed with him. Of course he cheated eventually, and even tried that with me, I almost told his gf but felt bad about it bc he was never going to land a girl that hot again. Ofc if that had happened…

I too think humanity should go extinct if the alternative is to continue using the unpaid and disrespected domestic, household, childbirthing, caretaking and parenting labor of women and not divide the labor equitably. The ask of women in 2021 is be part of a dual income partnership and do extra unpaid housework and extra childcare, for men who are terrible in bed because of porn.

I never said it is often. It is rare and still a terrible idea. When it happens average Joe will probably become average shithead Joe who feels like "big dick energy alpha Chad", brags to his bros cheats on his girlfriend and loses said girlfriend, I've seen this play out in college.

For dates and attention? That's laughable in my experience, unless she's broke or there's some explicit sugaring agreement, on average, women don't care about saving $20 on dinner for the first or first few dates. Taking hours out of your schedule to meet someone in an unfamiliar place that could easily become an awkward and uncomfortable experience for $20? If a woman is using someone for dates or attention she's probably very new to dating, naive and pretty young. There's so much sexist crap h…

It's not that easy to flip the genders. It seems like many women who feel strongly about men and approach are looking to date seriously, however men aren't picky about casual sex and are opportunists like you said and will say yes to getting laid even if they don't particularly like that person. In that case without proper communication and respect to not use someone for sex, it's doomed to fail. There are plenty of men who want uncommitted casual FWB or hookups and if a woman who approaches any…

Its not often but doing so is still a terrible idea. Even average or below average guys egos inflate and they often think they can do better. They see dateability as one or two dimensional of "how hot/successful" they are, and the girl (even if she is much more attractive) who approached as lower than them on the dating ladder. Even if she's with him through bonding from hobbies, flawed perception of his kindness or literal pity. Because of those mindsets girls should not be asking guys out peri…

Do men only approach women because they are thirsty and not because of interest in a person holistically? That would be bad news for het relationships.

Console victim and help them heal or immediately defend the feelings of "not all men" when a woman opens up about something painful? Priorities 🤔

I just found this sub recently and to be fair there are some views and upvoted comments that I saw that gave me like... "this seems a little unfair towards men, #notallmen" that reflex. To be realistic though when I thought about it people speak in generalizations all the time and if there is a heavily skewed issue in society the problem is not the phrasing of the problem it's the actual problem. Why is phrasing so triggering for guys but the actual statistics on sexual assault or domestic viole…
