3	Is it me or are clothing styles either too young or too old in stores? I second this. Dressing retro makes me feel feminine, appropriate, and my LTR really loves it when I dress that way. If you develop your own personal style (for example, mine ranges between 50s retro and a more toned down Audrey Hepburn simplicity) it becomes easier to find things you like in ALMOST any store. 3	Exciting Progress From Communicating! Great job in communication! Just had an example of practicing communication myself today (also from lurking). 4	Do I have the right to be upset? From my experience with toxic friendships, yes, you might have fed the monster in her. I do believe misery loves company, and because you let it slip a few times you had slights in your relationship, that nourished her need for negativity. 1	What's your job and your partner's job? I am a senior in college (receiving my Bachelor's in Elementary Education in December!) and work at a classical charter school being an assistant teacher. My partner works security for multiple events (concerts, festivals, shows, etc) and is planning to do a career change prior to us getting engaged (he will be working with recovering addicts as a mentor).
