Don’t expect in general it leads to disappointment. Just be grateful of the current positive things about your relationship with thah person cause at the end of the day our standards are keeping us from having a good relationship. And not to say that you shouldn’t have standards but if you do talk it with your partner. Tell them how you want things to be it’s a partnership for a reason a give or take but obviously not everything will be satisfied but like I said live life with 0 expectations and…

Nothing. I honestly just want to know what it’s like to date someone hotter.

This is what I was trying to say, it seems like my confidence alone isn’t working for me. And it feels comforting to know that although it’s not the factor that helps me catch someone’s attention it’s what helps them stay (having Emotional Intelligence) I appreciate this honesty!!! Thank you! I really need to work on my appearance.

Honestly in my head I just want to experience what it’s like to date someone more attractive than me. Just the idea itself seems incredibly appealing to me, I know it’s shallow but I always fantasize about it. I guess I’m just looking for ways to get disappointed and cure my insatiable hunger for beauty.

Can you expand on the “home field advantage” part? Also I will! I’m working on it. Thank u

I mean it’s because I don’t get approached? It’s a very shallow depiction but also I am self aware that I need to improve a lot physically.

I honestly just want to know what it’s like. I’ve always admired beauty in everything and the idea of being with someone attractive is honestly appealing to me. And yes of course personality will always outweigh looks for sure.

I have to clarify about the confidence part, I wouldn’t say I have “low confidence” I’m actually pretty outgoing and I do feel confident every-time I go out, what I meant to say was, I feel like confidence alone isn’t enough and I feel like it’s failing me, like I need to do more. Then I realize maybe it’s cause I need to match the outside and the inside lol. All in all thank you for the response and you are right it’s important how we feel about ourselves!

Care to elaborate it’s quite unclear if you don’t mind.

Don’t fake it til you make it, try adapting the mindset of “Fake it til you believe it”.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
