I’ve spent the last week traveling through South Dakota with a backpack. From Badlands to the Black Hills, this place is truly beautiful. You do not need someone in your life to give fulfillment. Get a high-paying job, save for retirement, and do what you have a passion for. For me, it is traveling and backpacking. Cheers men.

I have always wanted to go to medical school growing up because of some things that happened in my life as a kid. I fell in love with pediatric radiology during shadowing. I would love to follow that path, but I need to decide if it is worth it in the long run. I would probably be close to retiring with the job I am at now by the time I actually got settled into the medical role.

I feel your pain man. My last relationship, prior to waking up to reality, had me constantly worrying about what could go wrong in the moment. She would always find a way to incite some stupid fight. Invest early. I mean this both financially and intrinsically. Invest in yourself through education, hobbies, and joy. Most importantly, in my opinion, invest your money. You will reap the rewards of this with each passing year.

It’s perfectly normal to be hurting man. Ending the last relationship I had, of 2 years, put me into a downward spiral for a few months while she moved on like I never existed. It’s fine to mourn and be upset. We are always here if you need a place to vent. I was raised devout catholic by my family but stopped practicing at the beginning of college. I am of the opinion that it is not logical to say whether god exists or does not exist. Don’t worry man! I graduated last year with two engineering degrees and 15k in debt. If you know you’re interested in engineering, do it. It’s all about priorities man! All of my money goes towards retirement and traveling. The more I travel, the more I realize that material things don’t make me happy in the long run. Put enough away, and one day you will have “F you” money to do whatever your heart desires. Cheers! : )

I used to spend my time aiming to please a woman who never did the same for me. When I started traveling I realized how happy I was to backpack, see shows, and enjoy my own time.
