Is no one going to mention the arrogant hair flip she does before she cracks the pavement?

Hah, key-word: "maybe"

At the end, they look for some white knights in shining armor to come and save them from this "violent" man.

She did say to be honest. When you ask the internet to speak the truth, it often will, regardless of your feelings.

That rule is really the only thing separating us from becoming another r/Incels

I'm not choosing to be alone forever. For the time being, I'm just waiting for a potential partner to come along. Who knows, I might go out and find one if (and when) I get lonely enough.

That's the optimal balance ;) The having sex bit is way easier said than done (at least in my experience).

It's all just instinct anyway. There is no rationale for having sex, except for the pleasure (and for some, the mental boost that comes with that). Besides, we stimulate our pleasure systems all the time, in ways where it can be just as healthy. Coffee and alcohol are two examples of us triggering dopamine release, and they are perfectly healthy in small amounts, just like masturbation ;)

Ironically, you've also jumped to conclusions about how and why we might feel this way. We perhaps have a multitude of different reasons, and many of those might not be based entirely on "individual experience."

I think Dls95405 (and everyone else here) is perfectly justified. Not everyone will get along with (or even want to get along with) women well enough for them to earn some sexy time. For me personally, it just cost too much of my mental and emotional energy trying to guess how and when I was going to get anywhere.

I never said it's better, I just said it's easier. For what it's worth, anyway.

It's sort of a scam, actually. Masturbation is much easier, and comes (pardon the pun) with a much lower risk of getting rejected and/or used and abused.

Do you really believe that they are all indoctrinated and want to chop off their genitals and get hormone treatments? You referring to them as "these people" lead me to believe that you think they are all more or less the same. Downvote me all you want guys, I'm sincerely just here to learn how other people feel about this.

I thought OP misinterpreted the word "dysphoria" as meaning "severely mentally ill." My bad.

I may have misunderstood your original intent, and I apologize. Yes, I agree that these sorts of people need some sort of psychiatric help. I am however interested in what you personally mean by your words "these people need help." To me, it just read as a slightly hateful snark.

I've managed to overcome most of my social anxiety, and I sincerely appreciate your concern.

I can partially relate to this poor girl's story, myself having immensely struggled in the past with social anxiety. I find it difficult to hate her personally, and it seems that she is just in a rough mental spot at this point in her life, possibly as a result of the insanity cultivated by her untreated social anxiety.

I don't think the "dysphoria" in "gender dysphoria" is meant to be taken literally.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
