You are exactly right. Going to the gym and throwing iron to death metal is definitely my comfort zone, and my weakest area is career progression and moving the career needle to self-employment. Something I have never done before and totally uncomfortable with, but the biggest opportunity for personal growth.

Yep on the numbers being natty. I have been 240lbs since college, and have been benching over three plates and squatting over four plates since late high school / early college. So really I have been plateaued on any major lifting progress for about 15 years or so. I started lifting my 8th grade year for football and never stopped. Proably 90-95% of my gains in size and strength are from late high school and college years. My dad is a big strong firefighter and my brother was also a big athlete.…

Thank you for the feedback on the writing my OYS throughout the week. And I agree on your feeback to drop some bodyfat pounds. My plan going forward is to really tighten up the diet and eat clean.

Thank you for the feedback. I am carrying a lot of muscle at 250lbs, but also quite a bit of fat that can be trimmed down through cleaner diet and portion control. Career wise, you are exactly right. I have a lot of STFU to do and a lot of work to put in. And I have always heard "Movement is medicine" so as soon as I could walk on my leg without a ton of pain, I knew I needed to start the strength training rehab process. My next leg workout will be a week from now.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to provide me feedback. You are absolutely right. My dad is a big strong guy who used to beat my ass when I was out of line and I am perpetuating the same stuff down to my boys. I always thought I was just a little bit bigger and angrier than the next guy, but based on your guys feedback, my anger issues and lack of frame are to the point of dysfunction. All this feedback has been what no one has ever said to my face, but what I need to hear. I have a lo…

Thank you. I just went to the store to pick up rubber bands based on the advice from your other post.

Thank you brother. I never even thought about pulling over and letting them know the car is not moving until they calm down. You are able to control the whole situation without resorting to anger and intimidation. Honestly thank you for taking time out of your day to reply to my OYS post. I appreciate this feedback. I know I have ton of work to do to get my anger under control.

I did not physically hit my kids. And references to "ass whoopings" is referring to spankings. 99% of the time I do not have to use spankings and can just raise my voice and my physical presence to gain control of an out-of-control situation. I will ask you, if you had two boys raising hell in the back of a car during a long trip, after repeated attempts to calm them down, and they would not stop fighting or throwing crap, how would you handle the situation?

I have definitely met people I get along with and people I can learn from, but I get what you are saying. I get frustrated trying to appease others or do what I think makes me fit in with normies. My frustration and stress goes away when I do my own thing, set my own schedule, and go by my own agenda. I know long-term I will not fit in in the corporate world and need to learn to be self-employed. But I can agree with your point that my ego needs to be checked.

These are two different things. (1) A father having some base in his voice and physical presence to reassert control over an out of control situation. (2) Letting my son know how the world operates. Letting my son know that being big and strong will make you less likely to be someone's doormat.

Marriage: Again, no problems here. Sex is on demand every night I want it. The wife even reminds me to fuck her every night. We have hit and quit it sex most nights, but every few days we have “Perverted Adventures” where we go all out. She sucks my cock while I finger fuck her pussy and ass and say shit like, “Suck that big cock,” “You are my little slut,” “This is my tight little pussy.” We also bust out some bondage stuff, I put a cock ring on and fuck her in the ass, etc. I work my wife up w…

This ass ripping brutal honesty is life changing advice and priceless. I agree with the other poster that people pay good money for this.

Or is it because the committed monogamous relationship proves to be the best option for most men? This. Most men lack abundance due to laziness and shitty life choices. If I am being honest with myself, this is where I would end up based on my own self-assessment at this point. If you $1 million in taxable business revenue, a high network of friends, on point with your physical appearance, and grounded sense of accomplishment and self-worth, you won't end up back in a monogamous relationship as …

I want to give a try for 405lbs x 20 reps on squats soon. I love the feeling of the blood draining from your skull and everything going numb at the 15 rep mark (which I have not pushed past yet). 20 reps squats are fucking man makers. At 15 reps and above your brain & body goes into pure survival mode.

Unironically, the porn ED disappears overnight, at least for me, the minute I stopped watching porn.

Stay at the beating porn addiction battle brother. The ED from porn did not start for me until my mid 30s, so I had no clue what was going on till I did more research. Porn is a fucking dangerous poison to male brains.

Career/Finance: This is my biggest area for improvement. I have been very beta in my career, being a good little worker bee, not wanting to rock the boat, and generally taking a defensive approach to my career advancement (i.e. being lazy and not ambitious). I have watched my peers pass me up in career growth and earning potential and it pisses me off. I have been pissed off enough to start doing something about it. My wife currently makes more money than me (we are both six figure earners), but…

This is why this sub is so crucial. I took a hard look at my career trajectory and realized I am in a dead end job with a dead end career skill set. I am currently on the compliance/legal side of financial services but with absolutely no career path forward. Pivoting hard to the tech side of corporate America. With the help of this sub I have decided to get off my ass and put in the fucking work. Multiple software developer job shadows at my current employer Applying to at least 3 remote Java de…
