Yes, there's been a lot of improvement over the last several decades, but men absolutely do still have privilege and power over women, doubly so if they're also cisgender and heterosexual. 18	Dad's Just Drive & Dropoff Hard as it is to believe, the 'idiot dad' trope started as a subversion of the whole 'dad is the head of the household and can do no wrong' trope. It was considered ironic and humorous that a man could possibly be seen as less capable or inferior in any way. 16	It will certainly be interesting to see how women/feminists react to artificial wombs if and when they become a reality, as it will allow men to have children without women and therefore take a substantial amount of power from them I really wouldn't count on artificial wombs being a thing anytime this century or even beyond. There's still so much about pregnancy we don't know about I just can't envisage such a thing happening in our lifetimes. 1	The absurd idea of "weaponized incompetence" OP, weaponized incompetence isn't what you describe here. It's a specific pattern where someone pretends that they're incompetent at something to get someone else to do it for them. It isn't even gender specific- it's most often talked about in the context of heterosexual relationships but it can be done by someone of any gender and not always even in a relationship context.	/r/MensRights	09/07/23 08:49 PM
