Same thing happened to me last week more or less. Don't play it cool, play it cold. It will work well. However it's very likely the relationship is doomed. I am attempting to work it out in my situation but I am realistic that it may just be a few flings and then nothing.

If we get back it will be on my terms, not hers.

She's hot and incredibly cool and fun. There are certainly orbiters and guys in the wings, plus all the random cocks on the dating apps. Yea maybe she freed herself up to give it a go with someone she knows or a random on Sat night. Woke up Sunday and realized she made a mistake. Def possible.

All women can be brutal like that. But when the sweet ones are it's unexpected and more memorable.

Ha, well I can clarify. She is attractive and social. She's always getting hit on. There are certainly orbiters, instagram/fb groupies and others waiting on the wings. Plus whoever else might be around in tinderland. But I don't think she was actively talking or seeing someone else. Maybe this weekend when she was "single" but that's not my gut read on it.

We are in the same social circle. Will prob run into her sooner than later. Agreed about the emotional stability. I need to do what's best for me.

This is now an opportunity to set my terms of the relationship. I'm not afraid to do that. If she doesn't like them, then I walk away with nothing lost. I'm def not looking to get back to the "old" relationship (which frankly was in her frame). When I say "held frame" during the breakup, I mean I acted stoic, unemotional, took the high road as she cried and hamstered out her reasons for ending it. That's all. I didn't cry, beg or get angry.

If AWALT, and branch swing, then I'll have this issue no matter who I date, right?

Def love her (did love her?), but I can walk away. I do fine on the open market. I see where you're coming from. This is that bittersweet TRP knowledge which is a little hard to hear sometimes, but is the whole point of this forum. It's appreciated. And it did feel like she had power over the relationship, possibly from the exclusivity agreement alone. I see this as an opportunity to correct all that. Things will have to work out just so for that to happen, but I can actually see it happening. T…

Not my experience in a big city. At all. My friend married a HB9 off Tinder, which is incredibly rare but it happened. He's a good dude and she's great too. I have personally been on dates with many HB6-8s. Girl I'm seeing now is a real life HB9 (to me) and she was on Bumble and has gone on dates with guys through that app as well. Apps are easy. Apps are fun, usually girls and guys will get together and make fun of profiles or ogle at attractive matches or profiles. It's not that serious here, …
