had this happen to me 😅. i knew i wanted a fuss on my birthday, so at the advice of my friends, i clearly told him my needs. “my bday is a big deal, i want you to make a fuss. i know you are trying to save money so it doesn’t need to be expensive, but it needs to be something.” he didn’t do jack shit 🤣.
