I decided to venture into the comments on that video, and boy that was a doozy. Lost faith at how many women were saying it’s “so cute” and “you should be grateful”, calling other women ungrateful for having standards and for calling out how lazy & thoughtless those men are. And god the excuses, “they were probably busy” like bro you’ve got a whole YEAR to think about and plan a gift for Christmas. LAZY Funniest comment “I’d be happy with jewelry from Walmart!” Like girl…. 😭

It is more important to speak out against porn because it is damaging & exploitative towards women and I hardly see young men mentioning that as a reason to quit watching/supporting the porn industry. But yeah it’s a step in the right direction I believe.

show this to a man in your life and ask what he would do in that situation and his answer should be very telling about what kind of person he is.

He was never attracted to her as a person, in the comments the only thing he can say he liked about her was “she’s pretty and a great dresser”… nothing about her as a person.

He would probably think you were laughing with him, not at him unfortunately

study on perceived speaking times of men vs women Here’s something I found, I didn’t finish reading it yet but you may find this helpful.

Funniest thing about that post is all the comments applauding this dude and thanking him for the advice... Many women too.

Out of morbid curiosity I went to the subreddit to see how they’re reacting to their quarantine, and it’s just post after post feigning ignorance like “of course they want to silence and ban a group of men who just innocently want to mind their own business and go their own way, meanwhile FDS is still up advocating HURTING MEN, boohoo we never did anything wrong” of all the times I’ve went over there to see what’s up, I’ve never seen one positive thing they had to say about women, just endless b…

I have to agree with this. We should all control our drinking, and never drink to the point of blacking out even around someone you believe you could trust. When I was in a vulnerable time in my life, I was drinking almost every night to numb the pain and one night I drank so much I blacked out and found out (from the person who admitted it to me out of guilt) that he molested me while I was passed out. I have no memory of it, but I know exactly which night he was talking about. and I also felt …

Wow what a disgusting person he is, he literally said in the comments that he’s stopped being even just affectionate because he knows it won’t lead to sex. Showing your partner (especially a pregnant & traumatized one) affection and love and support should NOT be fucking contingent on getting sex. I am so absolutely disgusted by this. It makes me angry in my heart and I just hope his wife can find the support she needs and the strength to stand up for her own needs and take care of herself.

I don’t think casual sex is worth the risk vs the reward of getting orgasms. I can make myself orgasm just fine without any help from a dude. And yes, sex is amazing but if you aren’t in a committed relationship, it’s not worth it at all to risk getting an std from someone who you have no idea if they are committed sexually to only you. Even if you both have tests and share results, I couldn’t trust that he doesn’t sleep with someone else. (Condoms aren’t 100% effective at protecting against all…

Lmao one of this dudes complaints is that Steve Harvey advocates for women to raise their standards. WTF is wrong with advocating for women to raise their standards?? So many women accept such large amounts of bullshit and are socialized to accept awful male behavior in their lives, they honestly should raise their standards. Of themselves and the people (men) they allow into their lives. But of course that dude doesn’t want women to have high standards, because otherwise he has no shot at them …

I didn’t read it as her telling him she likes him, I thought it was “like yeah” but spelled ya. Maybe. But I do believe she was trying too hard to spare his feelings.

Crazy thing is, there will be women with low self esteem who will fall for his “alpha male” bullshit and that will just encourage him to continue being that way, internally convincing himself that “women love being treated like shit” Sickening

I remove certain people from my count for certain reasons (abuse and coercion) and I’ve always been like “there’s this person but they don’t count”, I guess because I felt guilty or some reason thinking I have to explain myself. I don’t know why I ever feel like I have to justify not including them, I don’t how relevant to This post this is but it made me think about it. I just realized I don’t have to mention it or justify never including that in my count ever and I don’t have to feel bad about…

I believe a woman wrote this article judging by the name of the author. Perhaps wrote it in a holier than thou type of attitude or it’s just something to write about as a journalist with limited options. I don’t see anything wrong with going out with a guy just to get a free meal unless he’s a total creep, then avoid at all costs.

Wow that was utterly patronizing, like thanks for the unsolicited shitty advice but no thanks.
