I've never read that book, but I imagine it's not so much about pointing out that you are right and more so about the tone that "I told you so!" implies. It's okay to point out if you were right, you just try not to say it in a way that would dismiss or belittle your partner. It doesn't mean that you can never admit to being right, especially when it sounds like your partner is very happy to concede when he is incorrect about something.

Yeah, they only have to worry about you taking one day off instead of 10 weeks for maternity leave.

Have you talked to him about giving up porn and the lady pages he follows? I think that is an important step in breaking down his false ideas of womanhood. Sometimes it can be hard to do but I think that would be a really good place to start. Edit to say that I really hope he didn't "just settle" for you and that it's only your negative self talk getting the better of you (we all do it). Best of luck in navigating this situation.

I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this. I would do everything you can do make YOURSELF feel sexy... I can't speak to everyone's experience but in my own experience confidence outweighs classic looks. If you feel really good about yourself and are eager to flaunt it he will notice, I am confident of that.

I'm glad to hear that he blocked her! I wouldn't say he was wrong, depending on how he handled the situation. The photos are WAY over the line and the relationship should definitely have been cut from that moment on -- but the flirtation beforehand, especially considering he does it without meaning to, doesn't seem over the line. My husband is very outgoing and makes people feel very close and comfortable with him quickly and I think that can rub off on women (it certainly did for me, lol) but I…

You don't need to change anything! Is he saying those things in a negative or a positive light? It sounds to me like he doesn't appreciate women who contour, so if that is the case you definitely don't need to worry about changing. I think it's totally fair for him to point out that women (or anyone I guess) can totally change their appearance with makeup tricks. Which is 100% true. If the way he talks about those women is a problem, I would bring that up with him and just ask him to specify to …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
