She was the catalyst behind this murder. She should have received serious prison time. Her age (17) is old enough (in a lot of states) to be tried as an adult in a murder case.

I completely agree! And to add to your point, it is actually really easy to show respect and appreciation. I'm not saying that to be rude, it's the truth. My husband lights up when he comes home to a really good meal. I cook every night, but some nights the meals are less inspired than others- we have 3 little kids (plus one on the way). There are plenty of ways to show him love, but sometimes just a simple gesture can go a long way.

Holy shit! (Excuse my language.) This is a huge shock. I remember reading about this case years ago, this woman ACTIVELY participated in (and derived pleasure from) these horrific crimes. The article even mentions that doctors have said that she has always had sociopathic tendencies. Problems like that dont just go away. The fact that she is free, much less permitted around other's children, is an absolute travesty. This article just ruined my day. Disgusting.

I'm just a dumb broad, but I think you did the right thing. She could have easily caught you off guard and shoved you onto the tracks despite the size difference. That was my immediate thought as I read through your description of the event. Very creepy. You did nothing wrong; you made it home unscathed.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
