Even though in an ideal world he'd have every right to do that, it would make him look weak and bitter, and she just isn't worth his time or emotions. Bitterness is a fair reaction to this situation but in a way it just gives her more power. I see men everywhere talking about how hot she is and I always want to question the quality of their vision, only to refrain for fear of being labeled as jealous, or a "hater." In your OP you mentioned that you don't care how women see you, but it's the potential for a personal failure that is stopping you?
