Are you talking about the UK, specifically? Because I’ve been to a woman’s prison quite a few times, and not only did I not need a female guard present, but there were exclusively male guards doing the checks and rounds. (This is in the Midwest, USA, though, so it may be different where you are.)

Yeah, I think smaller jurisdictions, like this one, have a better chance of going very bad, if they tilt in that direction. When was the last time you laid on a couch together (where you could rub against him) to watch a movie? Maybe ask him to watch one with you (pick something he won’t get THAT into) and say you want to cuddle when the movie starts. If it results in sex, then you can say something like, “That was fun. But I get to pick the movie tomorrow night.” To show your interest and set up a routine as a sort of game. I think that could be successful.
