Just telling it as it is. Emotionally driven arguments make for bad politics. Such policies need to be fact based. It's too important to just decide on the basis of being carried away by horror stories

It's not extremely remote. It's almost 1 out of 20 executions. We shouldn't make policies with emotions. We should make policies with brain

Are you happy for innocent people to be killed by the state? Cause that's the inevitable consequence of having DP. If you think there's a way to have DP and ensure it doesn't happen, you're just naive af Preventing murderers from escaping is far more realistic.

That doesn't deter this stuff. Just as well removing DP doesn't increase the prevalence of murder. It just means more innocent people will die. Letting them rot in jail for life should do

I think his point mostly concerns the risk of being accused of making false accusations because the evidence from the prosecution failed to convince the judge

Cops in the US pull heinous and brutal shit all the time In all fairness, they do, and it is always a possibility with their history that this was the case here.

I don't know, I've never been to the US. I don't personally have much of an opinion tbh. I'd say in Denmark women have fine opportunities, certainly on par with men. But I don't know about the other side of the Atlantic pond.

Feminism as an ideology is supposed to be egalitarianism relating to genders. In practice many feminists focus only on women's rights, but it's not all feminists. Egalitarianism is generally equality for all people. It is possible to be pro gender equality and not ne egalitarian generally if say you're against racial equality. Of course you'd be a douche then, buy you know what I'm saying?

You look good bruv. Exhibit a few more degrees of confidence on the picture and maybe have a visible crowd - only has to be couple folks at the edge of the shot, they will assume there are more people they can't see - and you're basically golden. And that is a killer set up you got there by the way! I particularly like the nitrous tanks in the background - those are gonna fill up some massive balloons I imagine! (/s the last sentence)

This is gonna sound stupid - but have 1 photo with either an expensive (rented) suit or car or a picture where you're DJ'ing (or pretending to). It always works to get swipes - the real question is, why would you?

Does dating favour women so much, that someone that unattractive can be that entitled? Dating apps certainly do. If you muster up the courage and do it the old-school way, the experience will be a lot less like this, and you'd eventually feel confident enough to not be bothered by this type.

I used to get a Hilton room in London and say I was on business travel. I'm not proud of it, but coupled with my platinum Amex it made it pretty darn easy to pull - wouldn't necessarily always be quality roastbeef, but it would be accessible

I used to do that a lot with bikes when I was 15. It's worth noting it was in a small danish town where people often leave them unlocked. One time it went wrong and someone else stole the bike I'd borrowed for the night. I found out passively who he is and he was quite upset, making me realize I'd done a terrible thing, which I never repeated. Never got caught though and I never owned up to it either, unfortunately.

I recognize that it's wrong, but calling it rape is an unnecessary exaggeration. Also, a quarter century in jail is 'only in America'. It's completely out of proportion to the crime

In many western countries, a 15 year old can legally be with an adult. Pedophilic it is definitely not (by definition that is - pedophilia strictly means preference for pre-pubescent), but definitely gross.

This! It isn't too wrong to plan out decisions to make in front of her. One advice I have had good success with is to take her to 2-3 different things, ideally with some movement. Like casual eat, glow in the dark minigolf, maybe theres a cool pier with activities, arcade, take her dancing at the end of the night, whatever really. Replace any of these with an activity casual enough to be appropriate for a first date, and that you like to do, and that you think she enjoys too. If you enjoy it and…

"Drop this way of thinking, please; it will totally make you bitter and hinder your social/sex life. There's no conspiracy nor a group or agenda "taking what's yours". NOBODY is holding you down but yourself. (BTW, Women do get sexually harassed pretty often. All of my female friends have at least one story of some jerk touching them where/when they didn't want to be touched)" I used to feel the same way as OP, and after gaining confidence and meeting the right women, the attitude disappeared. Y…

Women like confidence. Work on being a good person, achieving great things and be aware of when you do good and bad. If you succeed at your goals, you will gain more confidence allowing you to truly be yourself. The woman who appreciates you for who you are is the one most likely to stick with you, and the one you are most likely to wanna stick with. Some women will not like who you are, in which case let them be. If a woman seems uncomfortable with your advances, then back away or take just one…

I posted this on r/feminism (instead of Mufatangos link cause this one shows everything on one page), as I thought it would be a good subreddit to post a clear case of sexism. I got instantly banned - apparently that subreddit is not for "feminism - as in gender equality", but "feminism - only when it benefits women". It was literally my only post there, ever. I thought I had sympathy with them, as gender equality is what I care about as an egalitarian, as is it what they claim to believe in. Th…
