It's not accurate for men who can be in high 20s despite low body fat percentage as it does not differentiate between muscle mass and fat. However, a woman with BMI in high 20s is simply fat and unhealthy.

GYOW should be be synonymous with acting in your best interest, not indulging in every spontaneous desire your brain is throwing at you. Getting / staying fit and healthy is one of the best things you can do for yourself, physically, mentally and emotionally.

If you ever want a piano cover of something, a song you like or you want, I'd love to do it for you, it'd be a pleasure. You're up for a challenge? Then translate into piano Joe Satriani's Searching. It's genuinely one of my favorite songs, too. Great that you have a passion, and that you've seen the light at such a young age.

Ignoring very young dudes who are mostly motivated to get/stay fit in order to get laid, I don't think there's any correlation between being single/in relationship and being fit. I often see fit older guys at the gym with their partners, I know some folks who stay physically active to have some time away from their families (as it's one of the few hobbies that wives seem to tolerate); there are obviously people who let themselves go as soon as they enter a steady relationship.

Look into installing gym rings, about €25 for the rings and €10 for the ceiling mount and you have a fantastic and cheap setup that will help you develop a killer upper body.

She's right in a way, feminism and equal rights (and female priviledges) only exist because we men allow them to exist. If we did actually strip women of voting rights, they wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

Those are ways of getting yourself from shit to okay. It’s a sad thing when being disorganized and inactive is a norm from which to improve yourself. Yes, we are inundated by distractions and lack incentive to move, so it's naturally become the norm. If you want a Greek statue body, yes, you’re going to suffer. Surely it depends on the statue itself? My physique is fairly similar to that of the Discobolus of Myron, I have more pronounced abs but less developed calves and I've enjoyed the process…

Adjusting my diet was fairly easy, though I guess it did help that I always ate fairly healthy stuff, cutting out candy meant I just needed to eat more veggies and meat to make up for the missing calories. It probably helped that I was never overweight, and have a fairly high daily expenditure (~3200kcal to maintain weight, it's a struggle to eat that much on some days lol), so I never felt the pressure to be in a major caloric deficit, I just needed to cut down on sugar as I researched into its…

If you feel like you're wasting your potential and life, then you'll soon enough going to suffer from the existential anxiety that quickly leads to depression, and it's a kind of pain that could push you into action, at least for me it did.
/r/MGTOW20/07/19 02:40 PM
3

It's not easy, but not exactly difficult either. Most people live behind a fog, and they don't act in their best self-interest out of ignorance. I was also a victim of bad habits and life got much easier and less painful once I took a few initial steps (basically getting more sleep, cutting out sugar almost entirely, doing resistance exercise), the next changes followed like a cascade everything else got that much easier.
/r/MGTOW20/07/19 02:36 PM
3

Do you really have to suffer to improve yourself though? In most cases, you need to adopt better habits (which bring fruit almost immediately in most cases), better organize your time and pursuit your goals, which is probably better than the pain of inaction.

Even as a woman, she shouldn't have these problems at 29. There are likely some hormonal changes because of her age, but they're likely largely exacerbated by coffee, alcohol and sugar abuse (and the pill of course). Also notice how she only does yoga and pilates but no resistance (strength) training. It's hilarious how hard it is to connect two dots together.

A masculine man is strong, honorable, courageous, smart, resourceful, determined, confident, etc. Those traits are not dependent on being or not in a relationship with a woman, and if a man doesn't possess them he should strive towards obtaining them. Otherwise he should rightfully be met with scorn, for he's not willing to meet his full potential. The term 'toxic masculinity' exists solely to bash men.

Because we are programmed to think in here and now, not about distant future and possibilities. A man doesn't think that the young beautiful woman in front of him will transform into an old bitter hag before very long, a woman doesn't think about the lifetime of utility the man in front of her could provide her if he doesn't have vast resources right now. So the deciding factor is the sex drive and we have much a stronger sex drive than women do. If a man rejects a female suitor, there's likely …

Yet, despite being physically and mentally weak and unattractive, she can count with a high degree of probability to live a comfortable life into her 60s without any harm being done to her. MGTOW has certainly helped me curb my simp behavior. Nowadays if a woman is asking me for help I'm first asking myself if a man asked me for help in the same situation would I help him? The fact that mere allegations are enough to ruin a man's career and make him pretty much unemployable anywhere else are why men are so scared of any interactions. Wanting to see more women (and people of color and folks from all sorts of backgrounds, for that matter) in our daily lives and in the highest positions of our society isn’t all that revolutionary. Yes but for that (some of) you will need to fill traditionally male lower status occupations as well. Are you willing to work outdoors/ be plumbers/construction workers/engineers etc. etc. No? Then stop whining about being excluded from positions filled by the top 0.1% of men.

Its not surprising that older media has realistic portrayal of gender differences. If you read novels from the XIXth century you would think all men back then were red pilled. It's only after feminism took over that any mention of differences between genders or portraying female characters in negative light makes you instantly branded as misogynist.

This article shows the usual collectivist mindset women have. It's the government and large corporations who are supposed to identify women's needs and cater to them. But the market is as much bottom-top as it is top-bottom. I don't think it's a case of game developers virtue signalling, it's simply that nowadays they HAVE to put female/minority characters in such roles else vultures like Sarkeesian will eat them alive. Look at the Polygon/The Witcher 3 debacle, where a troll decided to complain about lack of people of color in a game made by Polish devs (there are no people of color here in Poland) inspired by eastern and northern European history and folk tales. That said, there are game developers focused on spre…

Would love to see the breakdown between single, married and divorced men. Something tells me the latter two groups are significantly higher, particularly divorcees.

Men better at maths as women won’t waste time practising useless skills, finds study. Just because there is a huge gender difference, it doesn’t mean there is a huge ability gap. Men better at civic engineering as women won’t waste time practising useless skills, finds study. Just because there is a huge gender difference, it doesn’t mean there is a huge ability gap. I could possibly agree if fertility rates weren't so low. Because women reuse to breed, the argument flies out of the window.

It's a combination of many many factors - inherent traits of African people, environment, outside influences.

It's fairly simple. They get to feel good about themselves by helping poor children during the day, enjoy BBC at night, get attention and sympathy points from their female friends and simps back home.

It would be easiest to ask African societies to take responsibility for themselves and solve their issues by themselves, but one can't ignore the ridiculous post-colonial politics of countries like France and China wreaking havoc in Africa. BTW fertility rate of 6 is a historical standard across the globe and something we'd still have in Europe if not for feminism and contraception.

I'm an Eastern European living in Germany and Germany has been pretty good for me (although thinking about going back to my home country). Speaking German is not supposed to be a privilege, you have to learn it if you want to be a part of the community, the society won't bend over to your unwillingness to learn the language. And why would it?

Women and their stupid rings and 50K party for themselves. If anything should tell a man all he needs to know about his future is his wife's obsession with 1-upping all her bitchy friends with her unreasonably expensive pre-marriage rituals. Yup women are at a constant competition with each other to display more wealth and prestige. It's silly when you think about it, particularly since they're not the ones generating it.

A crime is committed. Collect the evidence and report it to the police immediately. Given that the false accusations destroy the accused person's career and reputation, yeah there needs to be a punishment for making up stories.

It was dumb of him to say it out loud like that. Everybody knows it's true, but it is what it is. If you need to vent, just find male friends or do it anonymously on reddit or whatever.

I tamed my procrastination tendencies by applying one simple rule: I have a task to accomplish but I don't feel like doing it. I ask myself a question -will I want to do it 2/x hours from now if I rest a bit? -most likely yes - then I wait and enjoy my life in the meantime -most likely no - I start doing it immediately, I'm going to do it one way or the other but at least I won't stress about it.

We went about a month without speaking until today, when she texted me out of the blue. A whole lot of fluffy bullshit that ended with "I've got a real boyfriend now, and he does everything you should've" If she bothered to tell you all that it probably means she'd prefer to be with you. That said, move on with your life and let her move on with hers.

That was one reaction I overheard after watching Dunkirk, Christopher Nolan's new directorial gift to men, who are currently spending their time fervently ranking his movies, arguing about said rankings, and—presumably—wearing fedoras completely un-ironically. Or even worse, ironically. Poisoning the well. 4 years of gender studies and not a single hour dedicated to contructing sound, logical arguments.

And at an awards show in 2012, she blasted the industry for not making more movies about women. “Why? Why? Why? Don’t they want the money?” she asked rhetorically. It's nice to want things.

I have no opinion about transgender people one way or the other (I don't hate them like tradcons, I don't feel the need to embrace the "gender is a spectrum" ideology either), but I feel it's kinda improbable that they both suffer(ed?) from this gender dysphoria thing. Whatever, it's their life at the end of the day.

It's still the men who pay them that are at fault here. If you give random hags on the Internet money just because they tell you to you can't blame anyone else for your own stupidity.
