Oh yea I get you. Well she continued to ask about my job, and she expressed how great she thought it would be to have a job that allows me to travel.

Why would me pointing out women saying that its cool/interesting warrant me to read the side bar?

Just switched from sales to programming. Even though I'm still studying computer science, when I'm out and meet a girl and she asks what I do, I say I am a software developer (better than saying I'm a student @ 26yo ) - most of them actually say wow that sounds cool/interesting. Also I'm planning on appearing more nerdy for when I get a job this summer - un stylish glasses, no fancy suit, so I appear like I belong.

I tried selling the t shirt off my back as I remembered your comment while getting changed earlier. I manged to 'spin the bs' and had some good bs points as to why someone needs to buy it; however I sort of had a smile on my face - not taking my self seriously I suppose. This is another thing I need to work on (Its turning out I have a lot to work on). You getting 4 job offers is impressive, how did you develop your confidence?

Cheers for the informative reply - some great points. I will certainly follow the tips. However it will come down to my confidence, and ability to deal with my anxiety on the day. Confidence is key, and I need to work on mine.

You want to go from shitting your pants to being the interviewee alpha in a few days. How would I handle it? By being that person every day. For weeks and months and years. This is very true. I am currently unemployed. My social skills are getting rusty as a result having limited interactions with people (other than on social weekend gatherings). I need to be that person on the regular, so I can seemlessly perform when put on the spot.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
