2	How do I change the topic when people ask what I do for a living? Dude, just say it's a job kinda like one of the guys on "The Big Bang Theory"! That show is hugely popular and is making Science seem exciting to people. It has also done a good job of explaining exactly how difficult it is to explain such a job to someone outside the field. Now you don't have to say the topic is boring - but you've still basically said as much.
