I’d say learn how to become friends quickly with new people. Connect with them over a common activity, outlook, or goal. Then when you meet some guys that have a similar vision it’ll be easier. I recommend going to the gym and make friends there. Those people are all aiming up and it starts with a foundation of fitness.

I started my engineering position remotely during the vid and it helps to do calls when you have a specific question to a person versus just messaging them. Whether or not video is on, it will help your relationships with people at work hearing an actual voice.

Try getting into a new activity where you are forced to interact with other people who share the same hobby. If you like Chess, join a chess club (in person). If you like running, join a running club. If you want to learn how to cook, take some cooking classes. Sometimes a change of environment can be a helpful catalyst to get the ball rolling.

Can we all take a moment to appreciate the line, “The Turbo Slut is basically a ratchet Thot Jesus that dies socially for other girls’ sins.” True poetry, bravo.

I (M23) stopped drink in March. I plan on doing a full year off of booze then slowly introducing it back into my life again at a rate of much lower consumption than when I was in college (2-3x per week). I saw how, overall, alcohol can be much more negative that it is positive. I would use it as a crutch to build the confidence to talk to girls. I would have a few drinks, planning to drink a bit but not too much, then I would end up drinking/spending a LOT. It just wasn’t healthy, and I drank le…

Text for logistics and documentation (referring to texts about how good of a time you and her had aka consensual texts incase she is crazy and tries to accuse you with false rape allegations). For tinder, just say things that you think are funny. Find a line that works and then stick with that for a while and just go with the flow a bit. Remember the goal of tinder is to get a phone #/snapchat, then to call them or facetime, then go on a date, and then have sex. Remember the goal of each part of…

Agreed. Personally, I’m still pretty young and prioritize the gym a lot so I would probably sacrifice sleep now. But the older you get the more a lack of sleep affects you.

Holyfield was a professional athlete who’s career depended of his physical well being. Normal people working out don’t need 10 hours of sleep. It’s important to have the discipline to get your 6-8 hour of sleep but there are 24 hours in a day. Even if you worked 14hr days, sleep 8, there are 2hrs left over. There is no excuse to not being able to exercise 1hr a day or even just 4 days a week, just super intense workouts like what Dorian Yates did. Sounds like he probably just need to start sched…

Yes. As Jocko says, even if you are just going to be going through the motions, go through the motions. It build the habit and helps build discipline. Discipline equals freedom.

Where would you recommend finding friends that don’t enjoy TV and media. Do you think it would it be more like a group of people or maybe like a diamond in the rough?

I’ve been going through the same thing this semester of college. My relaxation is generally watching The Joe Rogan Experience or reading. I feel off if I turn on Netflix these days and can’t even really enjoy it.

Genetically Chris has the intelligence, but he lacks a high ‘practical intelligence’ which is learned while growing up, generally from the parents. He ended up losing his scholarship because his Mom ‘forgot’ or didn’t care to fill out the forms necessary to continue his scholarship after his first semester. He then just gave up and didn’t actively pursue working something out with the university, which I’m sure would have been more than glad to have a mind like his on campus. On the other hand, …

Past a certain IQ, it’s not necessary more helpful or better. Malcolm Gladwell discusses this concept in his book, “Outliers”. He talks about Nobel Laureates and their IQs. If your IQ is 180, you don’t have a better chance of being one than someone with an IQ of 130. This mean past a certain IQ (I think he said 130), your chances don’t increase, you just have the right amount of intelligence ‘on average’ to do so.

Try getting involved in things you are interested in and find cute girls to talk to there. When you are talking about something you are passionate about it’s not scary to talk, it’s exciting. Then ask them to coffee or whatever. Nbd

It works the same way in sales. When you first start, your sales talk sucks so you have to approach way more. Over time, it becomes your own and you don’t have to spend as much time approaching. It just takes time.
