I find it hilarious when guys say this. Like, what jokes are you making at the office where with ONE report means your whole career is gone? Maybe you shouldn’t talk to ANYONE when you work, not just women!

Thank you. Finally an actual take. Without women to blame for problems, men would just find another “attractive” placeholder to blame. Women start giving up marriage and taking on dog companions instead? Suddenly, dog is the man’s worst enemy. Give it time and there will be mass outrage against puppies for taking away their rights.

I understand that you are in the process of learning but this is an extremely ignorant perspective to listen to. Although these things exist, men are the ones who put these social standards in place and women are not the ones to blame for it. Women don’t have a “get out of jail free” card. These things are “not allowed” because social stigma affects us all. I won’t deny this but I will say dread only works because you’re putting effort into yourself to begin with. When you’re in a long term relationship some people get so secure they forget their partner is a catch and start treating them differently.

This is true. I think it takes longer for women to accept it though. Women will drop as many subtle hints as they can or try and change the guy’s behavior (usually interpreted as “nagging”) and when he stops taking the bait, it isn’t long before she starts resenting him. With men, it feels like it just kinda sets in one day that they’re done and that’s that or they try to sabotage the relationship and make the woman do the work.
