Who is the "they" blaming men for not seeking mental health treatment? I mean people should take responsibility for their own health but obstacles to access are terrible. I don't know where blame comes in except for calling people out for mischaracterizing treatment.

Is that what you think therapy is? The reality is that therapy is supposed to provide evidence based treatments for problems with destructive or mal adaptive behavior. Step one is someone listening to you long enough to diagnose the problem and implement the correct treatment. "Seen and heard." It doesn't stop there, that's the starting point.

All-righty then. Good luck with that. Adhere to your authority (snort.) There's probably a few women out there comfortable with that. I don't know any, though. If everything is so great for you then why do you sound bitter? I have literally never posted nudes or even revealing pics on social media, and neither has any woman I know personally. With this approach you are pulling exactly what you are putting out. First requirement- hot. So self selecting for women who would like people to notice ho…

I'm telling you it isn't going to work because it's transparent. It also appears you don't really like women based on your last sentence. Really all women have massive egos? Or is that a cope based on being rejected by women? You will not gain a successful relationship with this attitude. You may fool some women temporarily or have some shallow flings because the women aren't looking closely at you. But a substantial and fulfilling relationship isn't going to be easy unless you re-think. What ar…

I'm not trying to be harsh here. Why wouldn't you self improve because you have self respect and want to be your best self independent of anything external? I assume you are young (at least compared to me) but this is the reason why many women would avoid this approach. People want to be around people who are internally motivated. I work out because I am taking care of my body. I dress nicely because I feel good when I do so. I educate myself because I want to learn. Not because I want someone t…

Yeah just an analogy. I was comparing relationships to jobs, not women to companies. Sorry for being unclear.

The "earning" it's step one. To "get" the relationship requires further steps. For one the whole approach in your post is off putting. Why would you not want to self improve independently of any goal of "getting " a relationship? People are not going to be happy with someone who lays their entire being on whether or not their "status" is high. That actually is a weak approach and show such a tenuous hold on self worth that a lot of women will run as soon as they figure out what the deal is.

It seems simple to me, I am not a regular on this subreddit to be fair so I'm sure this has been talked about. Of course there are minimal type of qualifications you mentioned., doing the best you can with your looks (hygiene, neat clothing, groomed.) The creepy vibe is the insincerity and pressure that people seem to think is the way to "get" a date or a relationship. Like "I get good grades so I get to graduate. " women are not an educational institution. People are not algorithms or a video g…

Not stand up comedian type. More finding humor in the same things, relating to each other. But yes, very important.

And what vast experience or objective data are you drawing that conclusion from? It's pretty well understood that people tend to their "level" so to speak. So it seems like the problem here is not wanting to date your "level." And that's assuming a compatible personality and values. That's where it starts.

That's because "nice" is not a complete personality. How about intelligence, passion, integrity? I may give a "nice" man a chance if he was just very private or shy, or insecure. Otherwise I would feel no connection to someone who would not allow us to have deeper interactions. And I certainly wouldn't feel obligated to stay with someone who wouldn't share anything but a surface interaction, just because he had pleasant manners.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
