I have met plenty of people who at their very core believe they are nice, non-asshole people, but they're fucking dicks and everyone thinks so. It's not always on the other person if they think you're an asshole and you don't.

Wasn't aware haircuts could have a sexual preference. You're a piece of shit, and you can fuck off. Also, not because of some cultural persuasion You realize you're talking about cultural gender roles, right?

Way I see it, she did you a favor by revealing just how ugly her personality is before you put any effort into the relationship. She sounds like a shitty person who I wouldn't want anything to do with anyways. Doesn't matter how hot her body was, she's an ugly person. Reject her in your mind.

To be fair, you didn't really give the reasoning.

Maybe this will get downvoted as all hell, but saying To me, this moment punctuated every worst suspicion I had about the women living in SF. seems about as sexist as her assuming you were a rapist. Well, maybe not as sexist, but it's still taking an isolated incident with one individual and using it to form an opinion on an entire gender, which is probably exactly what she did to you.

This is great advice, but why do you have it labelled FR? It's not a field report at all.

I'm actually really impressed that the sentence can sort of mean two completely opposite things at the same time.

Oh, looking back at what you wrote the first time, it can actually be interpreted two different ways. One of them is the way you intended it, so my bad.

you realize you're going to be stuck in jail for longer than your actual prison sentence would be if you took this plea bargain, right? Why would they say this? Isn't this the opposite of trying to get you to accept a plea bargain?

I feel like the whole point of this subreddit is not to say shit like this. "Or, you know, you could just pick up some chicks." "Or, you know, you could just have self esteem." "Or, you know, you could just be able to do things you aren't able to do." Or, you know, you could just shut up if you aren't here to try to help others grow.

The health benefits of a horrible shower experience do not outweigh the horribleness of the shower experience, in my opinion.

I think for me it's less "fear" and more just "I don't want to do something that is a ridiculously less comfortable alternative to what I do already and has worked fine for me my whole life"

If some dude takes a cold shower, then later that day his brain says "we took a cold shower so approaching will be easier," it probably will come a little easier for that guy. What's wrong with that?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
