In addition to emotionally bonding, many women view sex as adding to their self esteem/self worth. They want the high value man and sometimes think the easiest way to get him is to offer sex early and often. They then hope this will lead to what they really want, which is a LTR leading to marriage. What they often fail to realize is they de-value their worth by so freely letting guys into their pants. So a high partner count is often inversely proportional to their self-esteem.

Another example of how women like to change the meaning of words. I agree completely how women incorrectly define "strong" and "independent" when what we observe is selfish and entitled. It reminds me of a woman I briefly dated who called herself "mysterious", when in fact she was just inconsistent and erratic. It never ceases to amaze me that much of their behaviour stems from their complete lack of accountability.

only black women. they will fight anyone from an old man to a 7 yr old girl. It's really amazing the lack of boundaries they have.

For all the advice to just shave your head, sometimes that isn't the best option. Some things that just don't make a completely shaved head work: not having a nice round head, big ears, pale complexion. For those guys, it seems keep it short, but being shaved may make you look like a cue ball.

I know what projecting means.I wanted to know why he thought I am doing this. I in no way consider myself a doormat.

This seems reasonable. Not that it matters all that much, but she's my girlfriend not my wife. We live together, but I have no problem walking away if I no longer consider it to be viable and meeting my needs. Your last sentence is the ultimate goal...have her continue to defer to me, but show some backbone to others. I do enjoy being able to do what I want and realize not many women would so willingly take a submissive role. Maybe I expect too much.

Could you further explain? Not sure I follow.

That's a valid point. My issue seems to be caused by a lack of respect and the doormat behavior is the most front and center. And it's not really just people pleasing and going along with whatever she gets, in some cases it really comes across as almost pathetic. For example, she'll wait on her almost adult children hand and foot. When I call her out, she'll acquiesce and just say "just another failure as a parent" in front of everyone. In the end, it's my lack of respect at work here.

I guess it's not purely guilt by association, which means I'm guilty of the same trait just by being with her. It's more the case, if she's such a doormat which is most likely caused by insecurity, then she's just with me because I'm a warm body. In other words, my value is reduced because of her. But all good points. thanks.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
