I’m talking about approaching a woman, so of course you will have to escalate at some point if you’re romantically interested. The question was not about when and how to escalate, it was about how to approach. Escalation should happen when it’s clear she’s receptive to your friendliness.

Are these all things that have actually happened to you or are you making up hypothetical situations based on vague stories you’ve heard and getting mad at them?

Doing it right is approaching her with no pressure. That means approaching in a friendly way. No expectations on her to accept or reject any romantic moves. Example of what not to do: “You caught my eye from across the room. You’re very beautiful, and I would love to get to know you.” Eww, no. Boo. Corny. Too much pressure. Here’s what to do instead: “I’m Bob, what’s your name?” This is how my husband approached me at a concert. He misheard my name. We joked about that. He then asked me if I kne…

That sounds kinky.

Nah, I judge them both. Both 40 year olds probably have personality disorders and the 18 year olds probably had abusive childhoods. As someone who is closer to 40 than 18, if one of my female friends presented with an 18 year old boyfriend, I would ask wtf is wrong with her, and tell her not to bring him around as he is basically a child and I don’t hang out with kids.

Calm down, nothing I wrote remotely suggests I’m outraged. Slight annoyance? Sure. But just posing a counter question to your question because there is a lot of ignorance about the human body, especially the female body.

You’re not going to sustain nerve damage from a vibrator unless you’re doing some very extreme stuff that results in severe injury, like prolapsing or perforation. However just like men who chronically masturbate, nerve endings can get used to certain types of stimulation so when things are switched up it can cause problems, however this can be reversed by simply abstaining from the overwhelming stimuli. Why do men think the female genitalia is the most fragile place on the human body, subject t…

Casual sex is gross and so are the people who participate in it, regardless of gender. “Sex is easy for women to get and it could level the playing field so men could….” No, you’re all nasty and lack a moral compass.

High N count men have poor self control and are slaves to vice. Very gross.

So let me get this straight, you’re asserting that a man getting fired for watching porn but a woman not getting fired for looking at Instagram at work, is an example of male oppression/female privilege? Just making sure I’m understanding you correctly.

You’re right, the middle class suburban neighborhoods are filled with trailer park girls making $100k a year for “taking pussy pics for only fans.” You go to the private schools and it’s filled with moms named McKayla in their tear drop pony tails and Cookie Monster pants because something something pussies and OnlyFans. The average income for OnlyFans is $180 a month. No, my chronically online vulgar little “man,” OnlyFans is not lifting women out of poverty by the drives for “showing their pus…

That’s why the term “trophy husband” is so culturally ubiquitous.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Western culture swings toward arranged marriages for financial purposes over the next few decades.

I don’t think a lot of men realize that a lot of these women you’re talking to are cam girls and/or sex workers looking for clients, not women looking for a relationship or even companionship. Dating apps are absolute cesspools if you’re looking for real connection.

What’s funny is he uses the term “female entitlement” and then goes in to say a woman owes him sex if he risks his life for her, which not sure why his mind goes to the most unlikely, dramatic situation of determining someone’s friendship value to him in the context of life or death situations.

The thing about human beings is we are the adaptable species: we become whatever our environment requires us to be. While biological influence is certainly a thing, it’s not the only thing we are bound by, and it’s not black and white anyway. There is so much variation among individuals in behavior, desires, personality, etc…

With millions of women unable to access abortion, I wonder if the proponents of financial abortion still advocate for it? The concept of a financial abortion is usually based on the idea that if women can terminate parenthood, men should be able to, too. Equality or something. Problem is pregnancy and child birth are inherently not equal situations. Aborting a pregnancy has entirely different consequences than denying a child financial support, which is why the two situations are not treated the…

So basically you dated 3 different men until you found the one you were most compatible with as opposed to staying in a courtship you were unhappy in because you were under the impression that it was virtuous to suffer in an unhappy relationship due to the hope it could no one day improve? And this is somehow a Red Pill concept called “monkey branching?”

So many RPers think people are horrified with what they say because they think they are staying uncomfortable truths that others know but don’t want to acknowledge, when it’s actually because RPers are actually just advocating for men with mental health and/cognitive issues to trauma bond with women with mental health and/or cognitive issues.

Yes. Men who sleep around a lot demonstrate poor self control of their libido, enamored by vice, and that they’d probably be inclined to not take a relationship too seriously. Old habits die hard.

Saying someone seems like a nasty person is where you guys draw the line for civility? I literally just read people calling each other things like “you’re a dick” in another thread here, but Ok…. Whatever you say.

Several news articles in regards to stories of women being attacked on the street by men, and women sharing tips for men like “if you’re walking behind a woman on a dark street, slow down,” make you fearful to leave your home? Just to be clear, one news story here shares a specific story of a woman being attacked by a stranger while out on a walk, and a reporter interviewed women about how men can make women feel safer after the attack, and your takeaway was that you’re the victim here because a…

I wasn’t replying to OP and discussions on men’s mental health and the pressure to be stoic, I’m replying to a sub-comment that claims that men fear to walk down the street for fear of being labeled as predators and criminals.

I’m not saying you lack any sort of empathy, maybe you do, maybe you don’t, I don’t know, what I’m saying is you lack perspective: The world doesn’t actually protect women from anything. That’s what you don’t get. These campaigns on ending violence against women are attempts at trying to protect women because women are not protected. Women are not safe. You see these campaigns and think it’s not fair because who’s protecting men then? Men aren’t being targeted for gender/sex based violence. You …

So then what you’re describing, and what the complaint is from men who identify as Red Pill, is the struggles of a neurodivergent man trying to fit into society, but the problem is you are trying to frame it as a universal male experience, which it’s not, while trying to shut down women for speaking about their unfair treatment simply for being women, regardless of their behavior and neurocognitive status. That’s why people have a problem with Red Pillers. It’s not because you all struck a nerve…

Can you please elaborate on the situation in which you were accused of being a predator or criminal simply for being male and walking down the street? And as a “socially inept autistic person,” do you think that perhaps your interpretation of some of these alleged campaigns and even the situations you’ve been in are maybe inaccurate? Because the only men I ever hear talking about this alleged societal campaign to smear men are neurodivergent men who spend a lot of time online.

Has any of that actually happened to you? Have you personally been in a situation, or has someone close to you been called a predator or accused of being a criminal simply for walking down the street? I’m not talking about how you feel after watching a rant you heard on TikTok or Youtube from some fringe personality, I’m talking real life situations

So the only measure as to if a wage gap is acceptable is who is expected to pay for dates that you choose to go on? Like that is the be all, end all justification of a gender-based wage gap? In your mind, there are zero factors in this world that make a gender based wage gap unfair because some women expect you to pay for a date? Grow up. Believe it or not there are many facets of life beyond what affects you and your $45 at PF Chang’s. And the only men who throw a tantrum about this dating cust…

So your only goal for a relationship is all about getting the hottest, youngest partner you possibly can? Like that’s the top qualities you want into a partner: young and hot? Ok. Fine. Your inability to form meaningful relationships with people is your problem. But why ever bother getting married and starting a family if you’re just going to pull the plug on it when something younger and hotter comes along? So your intention from the beginning is to abandon and traumatize your family because of…
