The article doesnt mention that telegony is real. The author used words like 'could' or 'might' in relation to telegony because there has been no concrete evidence to support it. The experiment conducted by the author only showed that dsRNA is present in male seminal fluid. Only at the end of the article did the author suggest experiments that can be further carried out to seek evidence for telegony. edit: typo

"This text (which first appeared in a projection by the artist at Tate Britain in 2006) uses the term 'men' ambiguously. The work may be advising caution in relation to men in particular (excluding women) or it may be using the word 'men' to imply all mankind. The 'dangerousness' may be subtle and diffuse like the risk-taking that caused the financial crisis in 2008 or the growing impact of climate change." Directly quoted from social.work

This kind of confirms my belief that many people in this sub have been exposed to a radical school of feminism that has been widely criticised even amongst feminists for their lack of insight and consideration towards intersectionality of gender issues today. But here is my point: you guys say that feminists only talk about wanting to empower women and oppress men but when they actually address men's rights and the issues men face they are virtue signalling. I just feel like there is a fundamental misunderstanding in this group about what academic feminists are fighting for. Sidenote: the virtue signalling is a reach in this context as well since no where in her tweet did she mention these traits in relation to a ro…

Sure, if you were born before the 1950s and also your experiences are not universal. Your lack of knowledge on a certain field of study does not render it nonexistent. Differences between gender and sex have been widely analysed as early as 1950s; Psychologist John Money extensively discussed how gender is a construct and completely separate concept frm sex.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
