As a member I welcome both. Being a single father it is easier to take both my children to the same scouts.

Depends where your living. If in Wisconsin, marry, then legally separate. Wisconsin does not have common law marriage.

It will hurt the kids less if they are young.

I would take the time woth the kids. Document it and go to court to adjust the schedules once the lawyer thinks the time is right. You pay more now but will come out ahead in both money and time with the kids in the end.

I would not confront friend. His friend won't implicate themselves with drug charges once his lawyer contacts him.

Sounds like she is focusing on her career for a bit. Some people have different parenting styles and that is ok. Divorce has made people do stranger things than ducking out on parenting for a bit.

I don't understand, she doesn't want divorce right? So why are you divorcing her? Why not just get a legal separation? She may be more onboard with that and allow you to easily split assets. If you loved her enough to marry her and she is willing to change why not try to repair relationship? Nobody but the lawyers get rich in divorce, but why not humor her working on things and see how it goes? Why not put it off and save the money for a lawyer? I have a lot of questions, but I can tell you that…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
