Humans are not wolves. There are countless ways humans are different and that makes this comparison inaccurate. Lions practice infanticide and bonobos bang anything they see (male or female) at the drop of a hat. Does that mean humans should do the same? I'm really not sold on any argument using evolutionary biology. TRP doesn't have to rely on half baked bro science to be a mind expanding perspective.

Simple solution: don't declare exclusivity.

Seriously man if you don't want women to use sex to manipulate men for social/financial benefits then just stop being manipulated by sex. You don't NEED sex. Thinking you do makes you weaker and more dependent on women and that's never attractive.

I think people in general are selfish whores. I am too. I generally don't do anything unless there's a benefit in it for me. There's no such thing as a selfless act.

I hear you. Fine line to walk between being assertive and being needy. I think be it mostly comes down to being unattached to the outcome. Generally not giving a fuck about her approval or about getting laid at all. This makes a guy stand out because most other guys are needy as hell. In my experience I've been a lot more successful when I let go of the need.

Jesus christ...this isn't always a shit test. Truth is she may not be available or she might not like you. That's okay. There's are plenty of fish in the sea. Stop thinking there's some magic thing you can say or do that will get you the women you want. Just because you are attracted to them doesn't mean they have to return the favor. Pursuing a woman that does not want to be pursued makes you a needy creeper and there's nothing to be gained from it. If she tells you she has a bf just cut your l…

I agree. I've been going to the gym for 16 years at mostly big boxes in different cities. It sounds like this story is either made up or this guy gets off on blaming everyone else for his obvious lack of communication skills.

From my (admittedly limited) perspective there are a few places where this situation could have been diffused. It's unfortunate that we have to live in a world full of ignorant people but sometimes it's our own ignorance that causes the most problems. You can't blame every bad day on women. I recommend taking responsibility for the part you played and working on communication skills.

I've been thinking about this too and came to a bit of a different conclusion. Main thing is I have a different view of feminism and I don't think it's to blame for men being weak and lacking confidence. Women's empowerment doesn't preclude men from having the same. Confidence, self-awareness, self-acceptance, the ability to define oneself... these are not objects of scarcity that we must compete for. They are qualities that everyone must develop in order to become a fully functional human being…

I understand if you have a different perspective but resorting to personal attacks and name calling doesn't exactly support your position. How can you profess to understand nature and reality objectively when everything you think has been influenced by the culture you live in and the messages you're exposed to? I'm really not trying to troll you man. I'm trying to share a different way of looking a your relationships and women which will make it a whole lot easier. But you already know everythin…

What need does this line of thinking fulfill for you? What does this being true mean for you that if it actually was true wouldn't already be a given? In other words, if all this is true then it doesn't matter if it's true because men and women will just go about being who they are anyway. The time you've spent thinking about all this shows how important it is to you that you see yourself as superior. And that just shows how very inferior you actually feel. Almost everyone on this sub is so wrap…

Enjoy the life long loneliness you are sure to experience due to your inability to form decent human relationships. Not all women are like your ex-wife

"Nature gives you the brain and hormonal profile to outgrow women and become better than her in most spheres of life." This is rediculous. Isn't it possible to hold your own value as a man without devaluing women?

"Men are biologically made to be in danger" Curious about this. Can you provide a reference?

Wow, so much hate on this thread. There's probably a lot of fear underneath that hate. Chill out everyone. Maybe learn something about feminism. As with everything, there are things we men can learn. I'd recommend developing some friendships with women yournot trying to have sex with. I've learned a lot through these kind of relationships (also known as being friends). Feminism and evolutionary biology are not mutually exclusive. Look for points of similarity instead of feeling attacked by the d…

100% engaged 0% attached It's okay if you treat her like a real human. Like listening to her and generally being a good dude. In fact in my experience it's much better that you do - even if it's just a short term thing. But don't fall into the trap of thinking that your happiness depends on being with her. It doesn't. Unchecked attachment will chase away everything good in your life. Being fully engaged yet unattached, on the other hand, will bring all the good things to you...almost effortlessl…
