Yet it’s under this new context that some men argue that women benefit “more than men” from marriage. There is a massive omission in your illustration of the modern context: The introduction of no-fault divorce. Before no-fault divorce, it was nessecary to prove misconduct on the part of the spouse in order to get a divorce. You couldn't just get bored and walk away from the not-so lifetime commitment. This alone has had horrific consequences for society as it gave us the age of fatherless child…

she was a dependent, even raping your wife was legal. I'm sure there's already a term, but I'll just coin the term, "legalism fallacy". The fallacy being either, A) Because an activity was not explicitly outlawed, it was socially acceptable, ubiquitous or otherwise practiced in any appreciable degree. B) Because an archaic law remains on the books out of inertia, that it's legality is indicative of the relevant activity being ubiquitous, socially acceptable or appreciable in it's degree of pract…

She was given away by her father, Lack of parental consultation is one of the major causes of modern pair-bonding dysfunction. Young people as it turns out, do not have the best judgement. When you realize that the main function of marraige was the stable transition of wealth from one generation to the next, it should be clear why mate selection was heavily a function of the patriarch's wishes(again, let's not pretend mother's weren't making decisions here as well). Today, we know how broken fam…

In the past marriage meant a man owned his wife essentially as a piece of property. No it did not. This is a reductionist smear against traditional marraige. In most marriages, the wife held a great deal of responsibility and authority over the finances and management of the household and rearing of the children. She was not expected to be a mindless automaton that could not be entrusted to unilaterally execute important tasks without the husband micromanaging everything after a long days work. …

That's actually one of the biggest reasons why liberalism is a terrible ideology. It is absolutely powerless against it's own subversion. That's why corporations love it. There is no hard power in liberalism to resist soft power.

Okay, so they get a nice photo of them, get a match, get a date and she sees what he looks like; What he actually looks like, not how a photographer made him look, which is aimed at being as appealing as possible regardless of reality. This is pushing failure a few steps further, not mitigating it.

cannot and will not ever love them for who they are and that they can only love them for their money, outward success, access to drugs, etc. Aside from that being mostly accurate, that's not the issue. Incels are the product of blue-pilled thinking lacking any nuance violently smashing into the walls of reality, and the ensuing inability to cope. This is why a lot of male feminists or other white knight types turn out to be misogynistic creeps; incels are just simps that reached a breaking point…

I think we’re truly lucky Russia and China haven’t already been like “yo, they can’t even get along with each other and they are the most spoiled pieces of shit in the world, let’s fuck them up and give them something to actually bitch about” They figured out a long time ago that there's no point. America is so thoroughly subverted that there's no reason to interrupt it's self sabotage. Sun Tzu remains undefeated.

Litterally yes, that's what we've been seeing. Nearly every 1st world nation's founding stick is reproducing below replacement. Illiberal 3rd world populations are exploding, and they are being given access to the stagnant 1st world- giving more space to reproduce and displace the native population.

That's not going to help men because woman will negatively judge men that try too hard to look good beyond their natural appearance. This is just another case of what-they-do, not what they say. There was a thread on r/dating about how guys would have more success if they took better profiles pictures. One of the tips was to not use selfies. In another thread, a guy was venting about getting ghosted shortly before a date. None of his profile pics were selfies, but she asked for one before the da…

There is no way women are this incapable at actually comprehending a flow of logic. This cannot be possible. For the third fucking time; Guy only wants sex. Guy gets sex. Guy enjoys sex. Guy forgoes keeping a steady supply of sex he enjoys to restart the process all over again. Read, slowly and think. Think. I did not ask for a value judgment on 1-4. I am asking how you square 1-3 with 4, logically. Can you comprehend what I am asking?

It usually is if they're being heavy-handed about it. Guys know they aren't going to have success with a woman if they don't give off the vibe that they are desirable- but it's a hard vibe to fake.

Probably posturing to give the illusion of scarcity. Most guys that brag or heavily imply how much they pull are varying degrees of bullshitting. Guys that really pull don't care who does or doesn't know about it

Like, they undress and he sees a tattoo he doesn’t like or finds her too heavyset, and he has sex anyway? Yes. Obviously yes. You rather I humilate the poor girl right on the spot? I'd much rather just bounce after the fact and let her assume I'm a fuccboi. Yeah, she'll feel bad, not nearly as bad as me telling her she grosses me out when she's naked and vunerable. Fair enough, OP's examples are relatively weak. There are better examples listed by others that can't easily be determined presex. Scents, tastes and performance- and these may or may not be superficial, but could very well not be overcome regardless of compatibility in other areas. Point being, there are reasons to delay sex, but past a point it's a dangerous game to wager sexual compatibility will be good enough not to derail everything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 04:19 AM

That's not addressing what I'm saying, so I'll type it out again; Guy only wants sex. Guy gets sex. Guy enjoys sex. Guy leaves to start over with someone else. No fuckzone. No situationship. Just decided he no longer wants the only thing he wanted and is getting. Again, how does this follow?

How many men, pray tell do you think are so good at scoring that they would need to abandon a woman he enjoyed having sex with in order to get his numbers up? Let's even assume for a moment that 100 percent of men do not want to have sex with a woman more than once ever and unironnically are devoting their entire existence to beating Ghengis Khan's record. What percentage of men could even play that game?

not having a perfect body? It's gotta be perfect now? Sounds like a great way to ruin my self esteem. As opposed to what? A guy genuinely likes you, you spend weeks and months building something only for it to be shattered by the realization that he can't enjoy sex with you enough for a relationship? Does that really sound better? pretty sure they would not ghost me for slight physical imperfections? Again with the perfection thing.

It doesn't matter whether or not the social expectations are based on "innate proclivities" or socially constructed; what matters is they're used to repress women unfairly. Yes, yes it does matter. The practical result of most men getting pickier with their women is inceldom. Well, no. Male distribution of intelligence is wider so, assuming college was supposed to be for smarter than average people- men should out-compete. All you did was describe more types of physical touch and sharing a hobby or two. Sex is easier to say than "physical touch" over and over again. It's covered under sex in context. As for sharing things, guys don't need women's help to enjoy their hobbies, other than sex. I can't think of anything more dreadful than turning my hobby time into our hobby time. I enjoy my hobbies and passions precisely because it's on my terms on my time and I only have to entertain myself.

It's better because it means guys actually like sex and want it to be a good experience. Selective promiscuity is indicative of sex being used as a tool and women that treat sex as a tool are lousy in bed, because they lack the enthusiasm of a woman that enjoys sex for it's own sake. The worst sex comes from cheap prostitutes, the ones that actually bring energy to the bedroom make bank.

Men complain about women talking out of their ass about petty shit. There is no value for men expressing vunerability because it is used against them especially by women. Not going to happen. All of this stuff stems from toxic social psychology springing from overabundance. It's often how civilisations die. Western civilization peaked, entered it's age of decadence and is now on its death spiral. Westerners are being demographically replaced with religious, illiberal people that out-compete them in reproduction. It's only a question of whether western civilization dies fast enough to prevent the destruction of the natural world for the rest of humanity's sake.

Woman orgasming less is for the simple fact that women periodically have sex for reasons not having to do with pleasure, whereas men virtually never seek sex except for it's own sake(outside of activly trying to have a baby). If women want to orgasm, do more than be a starfish. I don't buy into this idea that men don't like foreplay. /r/PurplePillDebate07/07/21 02:32 PM

Not really gaslighting. Women tend to get really annoying when it comes to them wanting to talk about one thing or another. Yes, dating for most men is just trying really hard to care about whatever women are talking about when their not in dancing monkey mode.

Most women are either party bimbos or were party bimbos when they were attractive enough to be diserable to the average guy, or they were never attractive enough to be a party bimbos(even then, uggos can still get a train ran on them) or they got into a serious relationship before becoming one. Trying to attain a women after the age of 22 that manages to be both attractive, not a bimbo and still single is simply not playing the odds.

Men in general, no. Men in positions of power, yes. That's why women's suffrage is a thing. Significantly easier for the elite to manufacture consensus when half the electorate is biased in favor of agreeableness, social proof, and religiosity. Women have a greater tendency to uncritically obey authority and consensus and further demand obedience to authority and consensus from others.

Blue pillers want romance to have a kind of magical quality to it. Romance itself, is a blue pill. It's a religious devotion to the idea of love as some transcendental, spiritual experience springing from the ether rather than a series of chemical reactions in the brain that can be measured and tinkered with an appropriate set of stimuli. Any attempt to rationalize, systematize or really understand pair-bonding beyond cute platitudes about nice behavior is an attack on their article of faith.

Traditional societal norms are a function of human psychology, not the other way around. Societal norms codify and systematize what is already the inate sentiment of a population. For example, most people don't be murder because murder is illegal is an incorrect understanding. In reality, murder is illegal because most people inately think it's detestable.

Deeply hating women doesn't create incels. On the contrary, incels are often the product of a unrealistically positive view of women smashing against reality and that incongruity creates bitterness. Virtually all guys that pull have a very sober, borderline cynical view of women.

AWALT. You preemptive argument is not a counter because marraige is still low, still has massive divorce rates and children are still being born out of wedlock in large numbers. There have been some statistical improvement since the 90's, but that's only because pair-bonding has gotten so dysfunctional, it's crashing and burning before children even become a factor. No, you're wrong on all counts. Proximity is a major factor and averting future liability is a factor as well. What is not a factor is the idea that men will find a women more attractive, desirable or respectable because of a piece of paper alleging competency.

People don't really "change", so much as they regress to the mean. Adolescence and early adulthood have a turbulent effect on where people are at in any given moment, but personality and general intelligence is mostly heritable. Do you think women have more sexual selection now or under patriarchy?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 12:20 PM

Correct. The numbers show it's their fault, when coupled with the data that points to women having more sexual selection. Women choose the men, they choose poorly, they get rid of them or the men leave and children are raised extremely poorly as a result. Men did not fight for women to have the freedom or right to do any of this. they own all of it.

The 18 percent portion is on women. It's not a majority of men that act like this. It's a small minority of men that women select from repeatedly. Case in point; My dad had at least 5 kids from 3 women. My dad didn't keep it a secret that he was a deadbeat for 2 when he met my mom. Did it stop her from giving him 2 more kids? Nope. Shockingly, he abandoned me and my sister and last I hear I have another sister in Mexico somewhere. That's one piece of shit man, and 3 stupid women.

Her standards are not that unreasonable on paper; The problem is, it's on paper and that is a red flag. You shouldn't need a checkbox running in your head. If you do, you're in a relationship with your standards, not a human being.

No, what's happening is marraige is such a systemic disaster currently that only the most stable relationships are even attempting it, hence the lower rate of marraige and divorce. People aren't making better choices, children out-of-wedlock births are still a huge problem.

That's not even remotely fair because men usually don't get a date without asking for it, so the end result is guys pay for all the dates.

No, and I would tend to disagree with the idea that women don't date for potential. Whenever you see a thread about a woman complaining about a man "lacking ambition", what they're really saying is earning potential. Guys complain all the time about girlfriends trying to change their habits, friends and hobbies precisely because woman date men as much for potential as for what's already present, whereas guys want only what they see in front of them and hate when women change on them.

Because if they were affluent enough to get an MBA and a career out if it, they had the option of walking away from work. The ones that didn't are more likely poor and have to work as much as possible to get by.

Weird cause I've run across more than a few homosapiens that don't make it a point to give others a hard time, especially when they give a shit about them.

"Men want a smiling girl who claps her hands together when he comes into the room." Yes. Was this supposed to be a gotcha? "Nu-uh I want to come from work to get my balls busted more!"

I'm in the "lady in the streets, freak in the sheets" type of guy. That said, is it truly plausible that a woman thought I was so special that she decided to be the nastiest, horniest freak just for me and not plenty of other guys in the past? No, so we can chalk this up as a valid example of men having unrealistic expectations. I reconcile this unrealistic expectation with this standard; in past and present conduct, a women should at minimum be modest and discreet enough in her dealings for me …

Whatever the consequences of age-gap relationships, the reason why there is so much stigma around older dudes with young women is because there is stigma around all sexual selection in men. Women, particularly if the woke variety want to shame men into having absolutely no preferences that ask of women things they either can't do or won't do. Fat/body acceptance: I don't want to lose weight/look attractive to get the man I want. Age-gap stigma: I don't want to compete with a woman 10 years my ju…

Depends on the person. I have zero interest in being "challenged" in a relationship. That defeats the purpose of a relationship for me. I want to come home from work relaxed, not be bothered by someone else's shit takes.

"I’m not sure why women would’ve just suddenly considered more men “low status” around the 2000s for no apparent reason" Men are falling behind women in education, arguably the single biggest status symbol in western civilization. Being hypergamistic, women don't want to settle down with the increasing population of men that cannot keep up with them in formal education.
