If you could come back to when you were 18, what would you do different?I was lifting like crazy at 18 and making no gains. Why? Low testosterone from a childhood accident. I would tell my 18yo self to go get my testosterone level tested.. and it'll certainly come back low... then get on TRT. I didn't figure this out until later in life and it made all the difference in the world. I just wish I knew when I was 18, my life would have been much different. | /r/askTRP | 12/04/18 08:56 PM
How do I get over the mindset that "women don't like sex"?They do it to feed their primal instincts. I'm very slowly beginning to see this now being on TRT and not as skinny/unconfident as I was before. | /r/askTRP | 03/04/18 07:09 PM
How do I get over the mindset that "women don't like sex"?It’s not unrealistic that a woman who was a freak one week is a prude the next. That could have been what was happening to me, just the dumb luck of getting them at the wrong (prude) times of their cycle. | /r/askTRP | 03/04/18 07:08 PM
How do I get over the mindset that "women don't like sex"?I'm afraid of sex, I don't like intimacy, it's too hard, and it's a bother. That wasn't me at all. It wasn't projection. I totally liked sex, but because of social conditioning I just had this feeling that girls weren't into it, even when they were saying "that feels so good" I just didn't believe them. | /r/askTRP | 03/04/18 07:06 PM
Correlation between female attraction to "bad boys" and high testosterone? And this: http://www.gnxp.com/blog/2007/04/intercourse-and-intelligence.php So intelligent people have lower libidos and less masculine physiques. What hormone is responsible for both sex drive and masculine builds? That's right: testosterone. And two new papers suggest that testosterone may depress IQ. One team found that salivary testosterone levels were lower for preadolescent boys with IQs above 130 and below 70. (the same two groups most likely to be virgins in adolescence) | /r/askTRP | 10/01/18 08:57 PM
Correlation between female attraction to "bad boys" and high testosterone?Bad boys are attractive because they're confident, often also dominant, and look like they'll defend themselves and their chicks if it comes to it. Testosterone might be ONE cause for it Pfffft.. I would say that testosterone is the overwhelming majority cause for those 3 behaviors. | /r/askTRP | 10/01/18 08:24 PM
Correlation between female attraction to "bad boys" and high testosterone? Thanks, good post. Those 3 things make sense correlating testosterone with bad boy behavior. Edit: but I also wanted to re-iterate that so many new here to RP are so bewildered as to why women are attracted to bad boys when conventional society tells them to seek good boys, and the quantity of this hormone in any given guy may be a legit underlying reason for it. (women are attracted to high T guys, and bad boys tend to be a subset of high T guys) | /r/askTRP | 10/01/18 08:22 PM
Correlation between female attraction to "bad boys" and high testosterone?Take a look at some PUA writings about high value men or demonstrations of higher value. I have, and one thing that gets mentioned over & over is how higher value men are attractive because they exhibit greater confidence. But is there an underlying scientific reason for this greater confidence? Might be... testosterone is known to affect the brain in a way that increases confidence. This could be part of the reason bad boys exhibit an IDGAF attitude. Confidence via testosterone. | /r/askTRP | 10/01/18 07:27 PM
TRT anyone? Has "increased libido" made you attracted to many more women now?I have a feeling I had spent much of my adult life with low T. I was actually kinda saddened when it hit me that I had spent my teens and 20's with Low T. I'm still trying to mentally deal with the "what could have been" implications. | /r/askMRP | 11/11/17 10:36 PM
TRT anyone? Has "increased libido" made you attracted to many more women now?my wife got on female TRT just to keep up As best I can tell this is most commonly about 20-25mg/wk of Test Cypionate for women. Is that similar to what she's on? (and is she post menopausal?) | /r/askMRP | 11/11/17 10:33 PM
TRT anyone? Has "increased libido" made you attracted to many more women now?(mostly copy/paste from my previous thread) I can think back to a lot of times in my teens and 20's of situations where a girl was practically throwing herself at me, and I just didn't feel like going for it. Likewise after marriage, if she said "not tonight honey" I'd be like "Ok, no problem" . My desire just wasn't there a lot of the time. This is NOT the case now. At about the 2 month mark into TRT I was insistent on doing her almost every night... though it's leveled off a little since then.… | /r/askMRP | 11/11/17 10:31 PM
Anyone on TRT? Does "increased libido" also mean becoming semi-obsessed mentally with women? There's nothing admirable in being a hound 24/7 with no other motivations I agree. It's just that this is the first time in my life my level of attraction (mentally) towards women could be considered "hound" level. I've never been like this before. Is this common for lifelong low-T guys who suddenly get on TRT? | /r/askTRP | 05/11/17 01:25 PM
