You've seen too many movies. Nobody "aims for the leg" or "shoots the gun out of their hand". No "warning shots" either. Any competent prosecutor is going to fucking tear you to pieces for being a cowboy afterwards. If your CC comes out, you're aiming center mass to put down the threat, because you believe that you or a loved one is in imminent, life-threatening danger. It is the last resort, and if it comes into play there are no holds left to bar.

It's because we've already seen standards dropped for women, as with everywhere else, when it comes to physical standards. No Woman Left Behind, essentially. It's why when Special Forces was opened to women, the concern was over whether it would carry over; last I checked, the Ranger/SF PFT standards are for an eighteen year old male, regardless of age, so the hope is that it stays that way and standards don't fall for the "Female Green Beret" publicity

From 1991-1999, she managed all Navy basic, exploratory research and advanced development programs in high explosives. She also served as the U.S. Navy focus point for explosives and the transition of Navy explosives into weapon systems, providing consultation to govern…

Why is it not a great thing? You're literally giving a pussy pass. Being apologetic, like, weeeelll, I guess he has the right to defend himself, but he really shouldn't have against this delicate flower.

Same with Stallone. You don't get to criticize when one of your films, which you profited from, is literally titled Bullet to the Head.
